Removing 25 km/h speed limit - Vsett 10+. Test the scooter before you start removing the speed limiter. Some scooters do not have a speed limiter plugged in.
In Australia The electric scooter's top speed is just 25 km/h, I find it's too slow 😑!! Too slow makes me feel stress and annoy!!! 😠 I bought Vsett 10+ a weeks ago and I've already removed the speed limiter!! And then it goes faster!! I reach up to 55 km/h (when no cops, no speed cameras, and no one else nearby e.g. cyclists and pedestrians). I don't get any caught yet, so I'm lucky 😁. But I don't do this often because I'm afraid of the cops!!
My Vsett 8 has three "gears", where 1 is limited to 10km/h, 2 is 15, and 3 is 20. Do the gears still work with the limiter off, or do they all go to max?
Gears are disabled if you have speed limiter plugged in. If you remove the speed limiter, you can use gears. I do not have enough experience with Vsett 8 but I do not think it is different from other Vsetts.
is it possible to put a switch between them? my daughter also likes to drive it, but then you have to open the deck every time. and would this damage my scooter if anyone has experience? thanks
@@pavelvanout Can you do speed level setting on display on the svett 9+? Want to limit it electronicly arter i remove the physicsal limiter by pulling out cables. And if possible how is it done?
@@danielandrerlvag7948 Hi. Yes, You can use speed modes 1, 2 or 3 on the display or you can limit the power from 5 to 100% in P8 settings. Surely it will affect the max speed as well.
@@kill1813 Hi, I still do not have Vsett 8 in our shop but there is probably not so easy access under the deck to disconnect the limiter. On the front right side where the bunch of cables entering inside the deck, look for a single white cable and cut it.
@@DaveChips there is a misunderstanding between you too and the viewers the video maker. The speed limiter that this video is speaking about is the one that europeen countries mandates. Vsett 10+is is limited to 25 km in those countries sometime

Look deeper under wirings, it should be there. But test the scooter before you start removing the speed limiter. Some units do not have a speed limiter plugged in.
@@pavelvanout finally found those white cables cut off and as far as I’m concerned for the USA they don’t have the speed control plugged in all together it goes 50 mph!
It's hard to give an exact figure. It depends on many circumstances such as outside temperature, terrain, rider weight, battery condition, tyre inflation etc. However, the top speed can be somewhere around 70-75 km/h.
Omg thank you for this video. Just got mine today, full speed was 25 kmh. Followed your video, now we're cooking. Thank s again
No BS, straight to the point video ! Thanks man 👍
Thank you for this🙏
Now I know how to remove the speed limiter on Vsett 10+

Thanks. Worked like a treat. The wire wasnt as well placed as your was. But i found it with a bit of poking around.
Thankyou
Thanks, and i have one question, are some bad consequences possible, or will everything still work normally
No bad consequences, everything will be fine.
Had a look, no such wire in mine

Is this all you do and is there only one white wire so i don't mess up?
Yes.
Do you only need to unplug one of the white cables? What does the other one do?
The other one is the same cable because it is in loop.
@@pavelvanout thanks
Whats the size and length of that bolt on the deck?
Theres no bolt, only M3 screws...
i have the vsett 9+ and planning to remove the speed limiter, will it do any harm on the scooter? or its just remove the default speed limit. thanks
No harm on the scooter. Just remove the default speed limit and you can fully use capability of the scooter.
don’t over heat the motor
@@odalisperez6650 it won't over heat
Do you know if I'm losing the warranty if I do this? Thanks!

No need to put the switch under the deck. Speed limit can be set after unlocking on the display.

No, sorry bro. We do not sell this scooter.
I got mine 2 months ago operates at normal no need to do these, tested at 42mph. (California)
Probably only scooters imported to EU countries must be locked to 25 km/h.

SAY SOMETHING ABOUT....OR BACKGROUND MUSIC
Here is nothing much what to say and I do not like background music.
Why would you remove the speed limera what does that do
The scooter is locked to maximum speed 25 km/h. By disconnecting the speed limiter you can use the full speed capability of the scooter.
