- Removing 25 km/h speed limit - Dualtron Mini. Look for a single white or grey cable. Test the scooter before you start removing the speed limiter. Some scooters do not have a speed limiter plugged in.
Edit: Dualtrons changed blocking. It is not in the deck but in the display. It is necessary to open the display and switch the small switch from the "I" position to the "0" position.

I was expecting mine to be restricted and have to do this when i ordered mine being in UK but when i got it and lifted the wheel up and tested speed on setting 3 it went 70K/mh 43mph straight out the box so worth checking before you take it apart.
Thanks for the description, as mine wasn’t plugged in from factory , I flipped the tiny switch on the back of the ey3 controller but that made it go 16mph so I flipped it back and it says 39mph when off the ground , I take it that’s as good as I’m getting lol 😂

After you do that is possible to set new limits using the P settings? Just in case, because I was looking to unlock but if I get pull over I would like to be able to change the P mode to make sure the speed wont go over 20mph.
Yes, after removing the limiter, you can limit the maximum speed by selecting gears on the display or limit the maximum power of the scooter in the "P8 (motor power)" settings. However, note that some Dualtrons do not have a speed limiter plugged in or some might have a limiter inside the display.
Yes did this to my DT mini even tough i have a talent for breaking things. The new Mini speed limiter is in the EYE display. You have to open it

Guys I Have a problem. I bought Dualtron Mini Lt. 52V 21Ah. I turned off the speed limiter on EY3 display but it does not go more than 40km/h per hour (my weight 64kg) and my battery dies very fast.. why? 21Ah battery should not die that fast. The escooter does Have a 1450W *Peak* power but even my girlfriend on Kugoo G3 with 1200watts is 2x Faster than me. But what bothers me the most Is the battery issue. Any help?

I do not have Blade 10D but I expect that speed limiter it will be simillar to other scooters. Open the deck and search for a single white cable and disconnect it.
doesnt this screw with the battery performance and longevity of the scooter?

No the limiter just locks the scooter to around 15mph for countries with stricter laws to keep authorities happy. If unlock you can still use setting 1 which is about 15mph anyway if you liked but it's designed to go 30mph ish no probs. It's actully one of my favorite e scooters i have ever ridden because so smooth comfy and responsive to ride.
Got today the newest mini limited, opened the eye as i did on my victor luxury and it has no switch... So i guess i have to open the front end as shown in the video to unplug the grey wire. Some models have switch, some other don't, even on the same model what is going on.....
Thanks for info. Interesting. Maybe because of the new EY4 display, Dualtrons will be blocked by cable again.

Funguje, ale již nikoliv tímto způsobem. Minimotors blokuje rychlost v displeji, kde se přepne taková malá páčka. Před odblokováním jede jen 25 km/h, po odblokování je to někde okolo 45 km/h. Záleží samozřejmě na úrovni nabití baterie, váze jezdce, terénu apod.

Test the scooter first. Many units do not have the limiter plugged in. If you have the speed locked, you have to open the display because the limiter in now inside the display.
@@pavelvanout I just bought it today.. And I tried the eco, eco bosst, and no eco.. Still I can't reach 30kph
@@masterbols1955 So you have the speed limiter plugged in. You have to open the display from back side. Inside the display you will find two small switches. Both must be on position "0". Then you will have removed the speed limiter.

Wire is disconnected, but the limiter is still on. Power is set to 100%.

There's a switch under the eye display that is need to be switched off
I just open the internals and the grey wire was already disconnected. Still the speed at gear 3 is 25kph. Any idea?

All this does is kills the battery quicker and overheats the motor I'd advise against this
how would you even come up with this? that limiter is there to be on the legal side, most EU countries allow escooters to be on the road that are limited to 25kmh.
