  • Removing 25 km/h speed limit - Vsett 9+. Test the scooter before you start removing the speed limiter. Some scooters do not have a speed limiter plugged in.
    Note: In the last batch of the Vsett 9+ only one connector had to be disconnected, not two.

    I can confirm that this works in Australia on Vsett9 model as per the video. As previosuly mentioned the only difference on the Vsett9 is that there is only 1 white cable which does have a black plastic connector as seen in the video. Unplugging this connector removed any spped limiter and the speed measures at 52kph on the display when tested on workbench with no rider.

    hi thanks for the video ... i want to buy some better alum keys for the scooter ..Q.1 do you know if they are they use metric or imperial size on these scooters ? and re the speed limiter, the dude at the shop said i could just cut the white wire without opening the board {you can get to it in the cable wrap behind the front wheel } do you need to cut both white wires...he said just cut one at this point in the wiring? many thanks from australia

    • @pavelvanout
      @pavelvanout  Před 2 lety

      Hi. In the EU, all the allen screws on this scooter are metric. I don't know if the manufacturer doesn't put imperial screws on the Australian market so you have to check it or ask in some Australian facebook scooter group. Buy a really good quality Allen wrenches, preferably with a T-handle from a reputable brand. You'll need them when you dismantle the wheel rim or brake disc. Also, get a strong pressure lighter (so called "blue flame"), as the screws in the wheels are sealed with a threadlockers and will only loosen when strongly heated. Just hold the "blue flame" on the screw head for 15-20 seconds and the glue will burn off. You can of cource also cut the white wires in the cable wrap behind the front wheel but it's not that hard to open the deck and disconnect the two connectors. It's a cleaner job, I'd say. Because the cables are in loop, you can see in the cable wrap behind the front wheel 4 wires. You have to cut all 4 wires because you can't tell which ones are paired in the loop. In any case test the scooter speed before you start removing the speed limiter. Some scooters do not have a speed limiter plugged in.

    Hello, I recently bought this Vsett9+ scooter. I saw that at position P03: Voltage level: 24V, 36V, 48V, 52V, 60V. What do these voltages mean? If I set 24V or 60V, is there any change in the way the scooter is used? Does it change the degree of battery wear? Do they increase their performance at the maximum range to approach the range indicated by the manufacturer? And there is one more thing, at position 10, 13, 14, 19, it says Reserve. What can this be used for? Can someone enlighten me? Thank you in advance. Safe roads everyone!

    • @pavelvanout
      @pavelvanout  Před rokem +2

      Hey man. DO NOT change original voltage of scooter in this settings. If you have Vsett 9+, keep 48V! If you change it to another voltage your scooter will not charge or will show incorrect remaining battery. The voltage must corresponds with your scooter voltage system. At position 10, 13, 14, 19 where it says Reserve it means there are inactive settings but in the future models there can be some additional settings.

      Hi, first check if any limiter is mounted on the scooter. Scooters are usually supplied with a limiter to EU countries to comply with law. The limiter blocks the speed to 25 km/h. By disconnecting the cable you can unlock the speed to full speed. There is no disadvantage or it cannot harm your scooter if you do that. You just unlock the speed.
