    I'm not sure how I made it this far without the double snap technique. I broke a lot of door panels and burned them with my heat gun.

    Hey Ralph thanks for all the videos. I currently made the switch to your flex films and I am very impressed. Your tint tip videos are very helpful. Thanks for great videos, great product and customer service!

    On some be beetles you can also pull the side and top rubber seal so it's not hard getting tint in there. I know some of the beetles have super tint side seals. But it really depends on the year. If it has felt seals, I mask them with tape to avoid felt hairs from getting in the film

    Great video as usual. You are the pro!
    In the video around 0:43 you are removing the window rubber felt, and pull around 6 inches out from within the door. At around 1:03 you say they are not hard to put back in.
    I have never worked on that car, but it seems you would have to take to door apart to get the rubber felt back in, especially when 6 inches came out. Am I missing something? Tricks?

    Nice job on that back window. What a curved nightmare.

    Are you still teaching to remove door panels? I’m seeing in you newer video you aren’t. I’m just learning so any advice helps. Thank you for putting the time into these.

    They were my nemesis back in 98, years later I learned to remove the panel and the seals, I still hate them but there is no longer that junk of cars. Lol.

    Excellent video. Interesting you did not use Irish Spring soap for the shrink step and you placed the bottom edge of the film in place 1st. I really liked how the film remained movable - That tells me I need to add a little more baby shampoo because the last side window I tried the film stuck and would not allow me to move it.

    how long did you wait till you put the window rubber back in

    • @raiderman28
      @raiderman28 Před 7 lety

      Kyle schlesselman the bottom seal can be put in after you are done. The seal retains water, that's why you take it off. So if it's not there, there won't be water there after you towel it.

    I'm sure that 20% you just put on that car is not legal in any state in the United States!

    • @blaino1
      @blaino1 Před 8 lety

      it's more then a cop being able to see inside the car. There is a tint shop being sued over an accident cause it was deemed the lack of visibility from the tint that caused the wreck.

    • @blaino1
      @blaino1 Před 8 lety

      Just cause the owner of the vehicle requested it doesn't meen the shop had to do it.

    • @blaino1
      @blaino1 Před 8 lety

      It's a law. would you rather tint a car legally or risk getting sued cause a person got killed? Because you didn't obey the law? The customer didn't install the film.

    • @blaino1
      @blaino1 Před 8 lety

      it's just like if a person goes to a bar and the bartender still serves them after they are drunk. Then they get in a car and kill someone. the bar is held responsible! as along with the driver.

    • @blaino1
      @blaino1 Před 8 lety

      Not here in ohio. They pass out tickets left a right. and a legitimate business. Not the hack job doing it out of his garage. has to register with the DMV. for window tint install.
