Thanks, that helped me out no end 👍🏻
Glad to hear it. 👍
Absolute mint mate thank you 🙌
Cheers. Some nice locations you ride in your videos.
brilliant - thanks
One day aliens will visit and their gift to mankind will be a decent bottom bracket design.
...hopefully - the lifespan of the current bullshit has decreased to that of soap-bubbles within the last decades...🤬
Those cheap verniers are great - I have the same one. I use stainless steel bearings as I find their corrosion resistance means that they last longer. A drift & hammer is fine to remove the bearings. Might not be great if you want to re use the bearings though.
Threads can be cleaned with old toothbrush.
I really love your extractor tool, especially customized impact bullet. Can you share the sizes please?
The hope tool is Hope HTT178 and the red drift is 4.5mm in diameter at the tip.
Hi, I have a question please. I have a bike that came with T47a BB30 CeramicSpeed bottom bracket. I want to run GXP crank. I found a CeramicSpeed PF30 GXP bottom bracket on sale. Can I swap out the bearings between the two bottom bracket?
BB30 are for 30mm crank axle and GXP is 22mm and 24mm crank axle, one side is smaller than the other so it would seem the bearings would not be compatible.
@@Chambers36TheEnter Yes, you're right. What I'm trying to do is remove the bearings from the PF30 GXP bottom bracket and put them in the T47a BB30. As they're both made by CeramicSpeed do you think that will work?
@@ansamilano Oh I see. I am not 100% sure. I guess it would be best to remove the t47 bb30 bearing and measure it.
It could be that the only difference in the size of the bearing is the internal diameter but I am not really familiar with ceramic speed stuff, sorry.
can you use the hope htt178 hope tool for shimano bottom brakets? i've seen that one of the cups in shimano design has a lip that you can use the hope tool to extract the bearing but the other cup does not.
Not tried that one, did it work?
@OddJobMTB well, there is a wonderful tool, I bought it from Poland, it is meant for shimano hollow tech but it comes with so many accessories that you can use it with literally any external threaded bb. It just is a little bit more complicated ,instead of the hope tool where you only use a hammer. That is why I was interested to know if the hope can be used for shimano bb.
Will the proper bearing removal toll fit for shimano bottom bracket?
I don't have any shimano BB to test it but the internal bearing size for shimano is the same, 24mm so potentially it would work.
Sería mejor en español. 🚴🚴🚴
25mm bearing isn't good
Too much talking not enough actually doing stuff and action in this video 👎👎👎
Okay I will watch your tutorial and take notes.
