I have this moonshine 135 set-up with smaller 550 cam and 64mm throttle body.....at 169hp....and best torque of 158.....it's plenty powerful when your rolling with friends and you feel the need to hurt some feelings.......it's easily done...... but what I enjoy is the low end roll on torque, especially riding 2 up with my wife .......it has great street manners, quiet valve train......its truly a pleasure to ride. Big power that you can enjoy everyday even on long trips was my goal and I must say so far I'm very pleased !
Waiting Soo patiently for my tk build!!! I got a crew ready to ride to TN with me to pick it up! Hope you guys make a video of it. Keep up the awesome work
Your video production has really improved. Thanks for taking the time to explain what has been done. Suggestion on next bike build video explain what owner is going for with engine build.
IMO keep the belt drive as long as you can... PITA to replace a belt if you have to, but the lack of maintenance of a belt over a chain is well worth it, if you’re not tearing up belts
Man I love the work and detailed explanation you give. I would like to have about 135 horsepower with torque around 145. But I just got my RGS in June of 2021. When the factory warrant gets close to going out I’ll be giving you a call
I did a 124 build from r&r cycles manchester nh, 138hp / 143 tq dyno sheet.. thats with trask performance big sexy exhaust probably woulda been higher numbers with a thunderheader exhaust since longer than my shorty style
Awesome build can this be done on a 2019 tri glide I was hit by a car 5 years ago ,due to my injuries switched to a tri glide. Keep up the great videos
We build Tri Glides but not usually to this level. The trikes get a little hotter while running and to much HP will cause the front end to push in a corner and not turn. If you’d like to discuss some of the builds we do on trike please calm the shop and ask for the Horsepower Team Nick - Aaron - Jamie - Mike Phone: 615-274-4170 Email: horsepower@moonshineharley.com If you email us please provide a good contact phone number for you.
What’s a good cam for a 103 twin do a lot of 2 up riding and riding the mountains and taking long trips ? Don’t see much of any twin cams it’s all about the Milwaukee motor
I knew something good was coming soon thanks for the video guys… but I just have a question why the hp and torque so far apart is cuz of the cam that’s been use…
When you add all this power to a bike that originally had 90 hp and now has 150+ hp there has to be more changes to be made on the bike,,,such as a heavy duty clutch, twin breaks on the front wheel, probably a stronger belt or chain to be able to take all that power the new engine delivers, what about the Transmission I imagine modifications also is recommended,,,,I have a 114 ci on my fat Bob did a stage 2 on it 2 into 1 exhaust, high flow air filter, a tuner , dyno showed 130 hp 131 TQ, that's enough power and still its still warrantied by HD and to me that warranty is very important ,, ,I respect your work I just don't understand you need all that power unless you race your bike on the track
It’s a stock comp setup with the MHP Comp Ramp. We have proven this to be one of the best setups available for any HP range. The Harley-Davidson compensator is a great design so we just replace the parts with stronger ones. It’ll also save your trans compared to some other comp setups.
What kind of power is ur 143 putting out? I just put a DRAGON T143 in my old 2003 bagger , BIG SUPRISE WHO EVER PULLS UP BESIDE ME!..🤣😎 plus I got a big bottle of NOS in the saddle bag!..🤫🤭
I hear these big engines dont last long in comparison to stock engine. Any info on this ? Also what how much is fuel economy affected on these sexy engines ?
It really depends on the build setup. Mileage on the HWY is effected to much but from light to light full throttle it’ll drink. Over all mileage is still great since it’s a two cylinder engine.
We break them in on mineral oil. Then switch to synthetic after the 1,000 mile mark. Mineral oil is great but needs to be changed every 2,500-3,000. We like the Bel Ray oil for high output engines.
It just depends on the kit. For more info please contact the Moonshine Horsepower Team Nick - Aaron - Jamie - Mike Phone: 615-274-4170 Email: horsepower@moonshineharley.com ***If you email us please provide a good contact phone number for you.

I wanted to hear it!!!
It’s hard to capture the real sound on video. Next time, sorry.
We need a Moonshine Harley in So. Cal!
It’s on my bucket list as soon as I win the lottery. Lol. Man I’d love that much power.
What up ! Happy New Year ! Let's Get it !
Big Chris must know Santa. I was happy with a new shirt. Great looking build and thanks for the detailed breakdown, per usual.
I don’t get WOW in many CZcams videos, but damn Moonshine did it again…makes me wish I could afford a big inch bagger
I've only got one phrase for this build, Beast mode! Absolutely Love it.
We will meet one day guys and tee up a sweet build. Westcoast Canada 🇨🇦 watching. Cheers WADZ
Hell yeah. See ya soon

Holy Crap is that a gorgeous bike and monster build.

Looks like that's the way to build a bike ! That bike will be fun to ride !
Nice build as always at Moonshine Harley!
Awesome Moonshine Horsepower build!

We’d like to video all of them but only a small percent make it. The shop is busy.
keep putting videos out. I throughly enjoy them...
That really is a super nice clean pipe. 🤘🏻
Your video production has really improved. Thanks for taking the time to explain what has been done. Suggestion on next bike build video explain what owner is going for with engine build.
Absolutely love it !
You guys build some insane sleds!
Thank You!
Holy smokes, Big Chris must have picked the right six lotto numbers.
I bet that bike is a hoot to ride.

Another awesome build 🙌🏾😎
One hell of a bike! Great build and love that pipe!!

Unbelievable....love to be able to afford the cost of this let alone own it......amazing machine guys!
Thank You Michael!
Total cost of the build would be nice to know too Mister .
If you have to ask... it’s not for you.
Love the information..
Wow.😲 very beautiful 👍.. Sir 😁
Love the mad genius of this build, incredible to see this kind of ingenuity.
Australia misses out!!
Wow your work is amazing.. incredible numbers thanks for another great build and video
IMO keep the belt drive as long as you can... PITA to replace a belt if you have to, but the lack of maintenance of a belt over a chain is well worth it, if you’re not tearing up belts

Awesome. We do warranty most of our engine builds till your factory two year warranty expires.

Star Torkstar 577 or Word 222
1 question. What’s the price tag on a build very similar to this one?
Don't forget about the Transmission 😬👊💨
Suspension....2020 Heritage Special....are there any upgrades?Seems like my baby is thrown aside by the aftermarket.
I knew something good was coming soon thanks for the video guys… but I just have a question why the hp and torque so far apart is cuz of the cam that’s been use…

Can you build a 143 for my 2013 road glide?
Horsepower with a bite . What was the estimated cost for a complete engine kit Moonshine?
If someone bought a used bike from Moonshine HD, could they schedule the build on the spot?
I shouldn't ask, but what is the average cost for a performance upgrade?
What kind of power is ur 143 putting out? I just put a DRAGON T143 in my old 2003 bagger , BIG SUPRISE WHO EVER PULLS UP BESIDE ME!..🤣😎 plus I got a big bottle of NOS in the saddle bag!..🤫🤭
I have RGS 2015 model, is possible to install bigger bore kit?
Would be nice to hear this bike at idle.
Holy chit man! Ya'll gonna make me break out my wallet again.
😂 solid maybe?
God I hope he changed the stock seat
Great video I noticed no money involved whatsoever scary

My SE 131 did exactly the same as buddies CVO 117 over hundreds of miles in Sturgis...don't remember but 30+ mpg
Damn I waiting to hear what she sounds like.
All that and never even got to hear it run??!
Will a stock transmission hold up with that much power?
Yes…if you shift property by letting up on the throttle when you shift.
Re Belts : are gates belts any better than a stock one.?
That's a question a retailer will avoid (in public) due to liability issues.
Whats a rough estimate for a build like this? I want this upgrade and need to figure out shipping or a trusted company for that as well.
Please email me at jamie@moonshineharley.com and provide a good phone number I can contact you on.
You guys recommend running synthetic oil or conventional oil in the build m8s.?
Comventional during break in, then synthetic after . What ever oil you decide just change it often. Every 2500mile Just my .02 cent
We break them in on mineral oil. Then switch to synthetic after the 1,000 mile mark. Mineral oil is great but needs to be changed every 2,500-3,000. We like the Bel Ray oil for high output engines.
I'd sure get rid of my sportbike for that but, I'm sure wouldn't be able to afford it though.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯🎦🏁
dam all that money and running a stock pressure plate with 3 springs uh
We have a Rekluse Clutch that is capable of 200 HP. We build a lot of big engines and this Clutch setup does it all.
Belts are junk I’ve went through 4 on my bike and im only 128 hp
💯💯💯👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🎯🎯🎯
The MHP engraving on the heads needs work, imo. You can't read it unless your 3 feet from it.
The silver on silver hides it some. Most will learn what that machine mark equals.
Do you sell your kits or only in your shop?
It just depends on the kit. For more info please contact the

Why shouldn’t I go through with this?
Only do it is you want warp speed!
No sound check?! You must be kidding! 🤬
All that money and no chain? You can run a fatter tire with the chain……🤪
Fatter tire = more weight = less power to the ground. Just some thoughts?
There always has to be a logical answer. But the fatter tire looks bad ass……..🤪
