That guy hooked his dad up right! NVS is the best bike audio installer in the business and Moonshine is the best bike upgrade shop in the business. The guy just strolled on into excellence, with out really knowing it yet.
Two good points I agree with.
One, the front tire, if you're running a rear tire on the front, you run it in the opposite direction. Same for front tires running in the rear, you run ot in the opposite direction.
Most folks thought I was nuts, but it's not about direction, it's about "traction". Front tires need traction to stop you, rear tires need traction to move you, so the traction is in
opposite directions.
Two. The cam size. Cam lift is not always what you want. With longer stroke engines you want more duration, not necessarily more lift. You want to keep the intake valve open longer to take advantage of the longer stroke. I grew up around Chevy motors. We would install larger valves on the heads an install moderate cams with long duration. This would put less strain on the valve train an cam, reducing friction n produce more power instead of having the engine fight itself to produce more power. Kinda defeats the purpose n reduces
engine longevity. You want an easy turning motor. High compression is not a must either.
Pump gas is crap anyway. 9:1 or 9:75 compression is all you need for a good, strong street motor that will last awhile.
These guys know what they are talking about.
My hats off to Moonshine Horse Power.

Keep up the great work guys. Hope to have my bike down there next week.
Always great builds
Beautiful scooter thanks for the heads up and honesty on the hp with the different rear wheel
Nicely explained and good info.
The power and numbers this bike put down are crazy.
That was one happy customer, as I would be as well !!!!
Very nice Job !!
Classic is cool - especially when it's been Moonshined! That's a lot of bling but the bags and the fairing balance it out nicely, a perfect use of a polished motor. Well worth the power hit :)
I did not know that about the tear drop cleaners. Wilbers are great. Cool video, congrats to all.
Bad ass build!! 🔥 🔥
Very nice build. Great video
God tier 🙌 bravo 👏
😂Awesome, very cool, well done. That would have been an adrenalin rush.
Really nice looking bike and I’m surprised that NVS Audio allowed you to install their equipment! He’s got a great thing going on with his systems and probably the best around for knowledge of the details in audio equipment pairings. Beautiful build guys!
That motor is beautiful
Thank You!
Great content nice bike
Like a Boss 💪💪💪
Living The F🤪KING Dream ❗
Safe travels 🙏♥️🐾🐾🇦🇺
Another incredible build all the way through; it goes without saying: Excellent work from Moonshine Harley!! ✅✅
That's the kind of dealership I dreamt of working at after graduating MMI, but I ended up in the PNW..Nothing but conglomerate ran corporate style shops, and they are far and few between each other up here after two recently closed down 😥
Threw that MMI late model HD cert out the window after dealing with a couple bad shops/GMs up here! 👎
RANT OVER! 😆🤣
But again: Killer build!!!!!!
Another great build but i would love to see a street glide special done
Dart sleeves? You guys ain't messing around 💪🏻
Nice
I just did my own 131 kit on my trike with Carrillo pistons and Harley cylinders with a Woods 77X cam. Hauls ass, lots more done but too much to list. I’d like to see you guys build a monster trike build.
Builds are awesome! Love the power they all make. After a build, how do you handle heat cycles and break in before you run bikes on a Dyno? Curious if it’s quick runs, then ride how far, then test?
Thx for clarifying the bar set up and other size options. 👍
Black and chrome, the way a Harley should look.
You guys do a hell of a job A lot of fresh new ideas
What are your thoughts on the thunder header vs. The dd billet cat? Never seen your cam shootouts with a TH?
The polished motor is Bad Ass ,really nice what do you clean it with to keep it shining
The thunder header x series is a great pipe
Jamie does Krauss make that setup for the earlier road glides?
Have you ever had a S&S superstreet exhaust on any of your builds? Does it do well with the built engines?
Hi - what is the advantage of using the teardrop air intake?
Endless possibilities….
Do a road glide 3 next . All out 200 hp
Can you run carbon fiber wheels the same size?
Like to see, and hear a highway pull.
Ugh, I want a totally Satin Chrome/Chrome out powertrain.
Im sad everything got blacked out. Satin Chrome and Chrome all over my Fat Boy's powertrain would be gorgeous.
You guys perform your WOT final dyno runs in 5th or 6th gear?
Yes Ryan, the gear that gives you the closest to a final gear ratio of 1:1.
This is industry standard brother. I hope this helps.
What are the engine specs? Is this the 4 5/8 stroke with 131 cylinders and offset pins on the pistons like Harley’s new 135?
What's up to man Sid from NY down in Tennessee.
👍🏽👍🏽
Awesome build.
But think bikes should come stock from factory as
Standard bikes stage 2 114
Special bikes stage 4 117
Cvo bikes stage 4 135
Bigger, better, faster.
I'm imagining there's some serious coin involved in that build...
I doubt it’s a recipe for failure- heat management is the concern.
bike looks amazing except the bars in my opinion... just cant get on board with these bars.
That is a bad machine I have 1976 Sporter 1340 balance blue print has the old SS carb and much more I am liking what you guys are doing with that live to ride
1st🏁🏁🏁
I run a read tire on the front but I never run them backwards. Yeah I have heard all the reasons to run it backwards but most of that is BS...
11 months to build? My house took 4 months to build.
And what is your point!
Nice Fatty! 😎👍
40k for this set up?
Probably not far off. That’s excluding the price of the bike itself
It's close to 100k
And after all that time and money it still wont keep up with my bone stock cruiser.
🤣 'promosm'
I know my fat boy wheels are real heavy
God damn these guys are good! Have they done a video about the prices? I know they can’t give exact but maybe ballpark figures
Just to dam old,got menores thought
