If you noticed, they reduced the BASE SL multiplier, making any subsequent multipliers pointless. They did it to everything, including premiums, and 100k SL ground games have been chopped down to 60k for making the same effort. Everything has had a 25%-40% cut because the base SL multipliers have been cut from, say, 4.0 to 2.0. If you know how to do math, that reduces percentage increase from boosters that much more because the base number of your equation is that much lower, even that 50% premium account boost doesn’t help nearly as much or not at all now. What’s the point of paying for premium when we aren’t even breaking even now in most cases?!?! They didn’t even mention this knock in SL rewards at all in the economy forum post, only mentioning Costs and RP multiplier modifications. This attempt at a shadow nerf to the core Sl modifier needs to be brought to attention. All those people who bought Premium vehicles during the sales just for this to happen weeks later have been ROBBED because they have been lied too. This affects everyone

Yeah just recently noticed. I just had a round that would usually give me like 110k sl but got only 70k. Hopefully they change it back to normal

As players of this game, we contribute to its activity, and in theory, Gaijin should appreciate each and every one of us who continues to support and encourage this game. However, Gaijin keeps pushing the boundaries and exploiting each and every one of us. This recent economic change is not just a simple adjustment; Gaijin is gradually making it clear that if you don't pay for this game, you don't deserve to play it.
I implore every player here to bravely stand up and resist this behavior. Gaijin has now infringed upon our rights as players, and we cannot, and should not, let Gaijin continue to exploit us in the future. It is time for us players to unite and stand together. We should be a collective, a class, opposing Gaijin's exploitation and oppression towards us. We are here to enjoy this game, to find joy in it, and we should not be working for Gaijin.

All non-US nations (except France’s XII) have top tier tanks that are produced after 2010, yet US is still stuck with a pre-2000 tech tank that has incorrectly modeled turret armor which should be more effective than M1A1 HC due to the upgraded 3rd gen depleted uranium armor.

Cool tanks, I would've surely found it very distasteful to have extra tanks to have to research despite them being fouldered before, adding more vehicles to the painful grind in order to get to the things that I'd also like to play, additioning tens of extra hours of battles to reach em. It surely would.

@@arroyo5802 its litteraly the opposite of what needs to happen, some of the tech trees have so many more vehicles compared to others, and so many of them are similar... we need more groups/folders, not less...
Research costs are down across the board and low tier vehicles are piss easy to grind through.
The panzer 38 t is 2900 research points...that's ONE good game or 10 games at most for a new player who does terribly.

The game is unplayable right now. Increasing the repair cost and lowering the SL income... new players gonna left the game at rank III. Yeah, Leopard 2 are nice... but there is no one farming 3 years to play it, you will see it. Top tier is going to be just a bunch of noobs in premium tanks leaving the game after one rush+die and tech tree players are gona leave the game as well because of that. You are killing your own game, well done...
That's cool and all, but how about cutting all repair costs in half so the average player doesn't have to grind 12h a day just to avoid bankruptcy?

What a cool game. It would be a pity if I stopped playing it due to horrible economy and developers who make the game more and more toxic with every update. I'm so glad they are listening to playerbase, we couldn't ask for anything better than making repair cost higher and SL and RP multipliers lower to the point where the game is barely playable even if you pay to play!

I might leave the warthunder game, or at least stop grinding top tier. I am a main American player and recently got the M1 Abrams, but gajjin has been making warthunder so hard, it’s almost impossible to grind, even with my prem account activated.

As an ardent War Thunder player with over 6700 hours invested in the game, I find myself deeply unsettled by the recent changes. Over the years, I've maintained a premium account and have invested considerably in Golden Eagles vehicles and bundle purchases. Yet, my core fascination lies with the technologically diverse and well-structured tech-tree vehicles, despite the significant investments made in the premium ones. If we were to approximate this in ratios, my vehicle collection would stand at a rough 9:1 split between tech-tree and premium vehicles. However, this doesn't proportionately translate to my gameplay time, as at most, the ratio stands at 8:2, and not a 7:3 or even a 5:5 split.
Unfortunately, the recent changes that were supposedly implemented to balance gameplay fairness - nerfing the benefits of high-yield vehicles and boosting low-yield ones - have, in reality, reduced the overall rewards for regular players post-vehicle repairs.
Previously, as a premium account holder, I didn't need to play premium vehicles specifically to gather enough Silver Lions (SL) for vehicle repair costs, to buy new tech-tree vehicles or upgrade my favorite ones to the expert crew level. However, these changes have forced me to reallocate my time and energy to premium vehicles that I have outgrown, merely to earn additional SL. If not, I'd merely be breaking even after paying repair costs, unable to afford new tech-tree vehicles or expert crew upgrades. This change is particularly disheartening as it inhibits my freedom to explore the tech-tree vehicles that I genuinely enjoy.
Imagine the plight of those without premium accounts, who now must exhibit above-average gameplay just to stay afloat, with the looming risk of bankruptcy from one bad game.
It's crucial to highlight that even if top-tier players have a surplus of Silver Lions, it wouldn't cause any severe issues that warrant a decrease in their income. Conversely, the reduction in rewards greatly affects middle and lower-tier players. They are forced to spend more time playing premium vehicles or familiar tech-tree vehicles before they can afford new ones, gravely impacting their gaming experience.
While I understand and accept the income redistribution from high-efficiency to low-efficiency vehicles, I strongly urge for a substantial decrease in all vehicle repair costs. Failing this, we risk dampening players' enthusiasm, promoting overly conservative gameplay, reducing playtime, and potentially fostering a rise in the use of scripts and hacks.
The current controversy evokes memories of the "free repair kits and fire extinguishers" debate from years past. The significant reduction in research points required for these items drastically improved the gaming experience and boosted player enthusiasm. Trusting in the developers' respect for player experience and my belief in the game's upward trajectory, I purchased more high-BR packages following that change. Now, facing this new controversy, I hope that the developers will once again make the right decision, PLS DONT DISAPPOINT US.😿
Honestly they already have disappointed us they show their true colours now not as developers of what is a good game at heart but just money hungry suits doing everything than can to destroy and alienate their games community and then instead of owing up to it they try to hide behind statements that try to blame the community saying its our fault for not understanding what they mean. They don't care that players are unhappy with the recent changes they will do what they always do hide until it either disappears or gets to a point where they have to do something about it usually that would involved empty words and empty promises.

2A5 and 2A6 only had 1st gen thermals for the gunner. 2A7V was the first Leopard with better gunner optics (gen3).

and sweden has now more Leo2 than GER which is mostly due to both US and RU mains still complaining that germany gets all the good stuff. even tho if you look back at the change logs I would like to be shown where GER got all that cause I see about 8 RU and 6 US high tier very capable vehicles only on ground while german had 1.
and sweden got 6 Leo2s but GER is still so OP why does no one say anything about SWEDEN ? and I don't even wanna start on the Premiums the Russians get on ground and the US in the Air while germany... well..

2A4 doesn't need DM33. It's fairly balanced at 10.3. Leopard 2PL needs its historical DM63 tho...

And 2A6 used DM33 and DM53 historically and received DM63 later afaik.

Canada has been using the Leopard for decades. I remember shipping track, transmissions, engines regularly. It made upgrades and maintenance easier since we always had a battalion stationed on our NATO base in Germany. Had a few chances to take rides in them as a kid, awesome machines.

I like the Leopard 2A7, A7V and A7A1... wonder when we will finally see those in game, after all Russia has 3 times the amount of top tier MBTs in the tech tree.
Leo 2 PSO was leaked some time ago but i didnt saw any new Leo in the new update trailer...
Also since sweden now is better then germany its about time for the german tech tree to get least one new Leopard 2 above the current 2 a6.

Add the 2a7 with a V upgrade module, it would just be an strv122 but with a bigger gun and better thermals, and the dm73 has almost the exact same pen as the dm63 so it wouldn’t be changing much
the V upgrade would be too op, as it has even more composite and would need something else to balance it.

@MOLOCK the funny thing is. You Don t really need better ammo. Dm53 ist currently good. I have currently no idea what the other nation have, I only got high tier America as a western nation (m1a1 aim, Ags), Sweden currently grind.
I can only speak as western nation the Kew-Ammo(m1aim) is okay. The main issue I came is the modeling of fhe tanks, spalling and so. I have top tier russian tanks, and if I encounter russian tanks as russian it is pretty fun to watch the ammo does really bad. But this issue I got also encountering Nato nations.
Newer ammo won't present you any better pen Situation, you can go throw im theory better throh but the coding might be the issue. 3Bm60 is a newer round yes, I don't bother, they can actually remove the round and lead us with ... 3bm46 was the next better round?? Don't really know and care.
See the rounds in every nation are currently some sort of balanced, the tanks on the other hand are not, I will say that russian bias does not exist, cause you can counter as ground nearly everything. Cas is a whole other story and the pansir is broken an unnecessary but here we are.
Don't forget 2S38 fun thing, needs to removed.

Economy is currently a thing what will prevent playing some nations, russian tree is gone up about 2k on average so you will probably see more wins, because there is no point in spowning more.
It's good that you reverted the horrible economy change, don't remember that of course it's your game, but if your game is empty from player it's useless. I understand it's a F2P game, but sometime it's too grindy, and if on top of that you **** up people who buy premium or premium vehicles by lowing their reward, they wont buy something ever again.
I hope that in the future they will add a branch of research from Spain, and there they will add the Leopard 2E.

To research and buy 2a5, I earned SL by riding only premium leo 1 and tam2ip, and 2a6 research has just been completed! I also have to go on a hard journey to earn SL.

The first shot you're gonna hit its lower front plate, the fuel tank exploded without starting any fire, the Soviet tank is fine. The second shot, you hit thecentre of the lower front plate, the APFSDS round passes right through the driver, the driver turned yellow, and the dart somehow got around the full ammo rack and destroyed the engine, nobody died in the Soviet tank. The third shot, you're gonna hit the turret ring, and the ring and the ring only turned red, everything else in the Soviet tank is untouched. Cool, you've sucessfully experienced something even worse than the RNGesus from World of Tanks, it's called the Snail

Can you fix leopard 2 underperforming armor? Like hull KE/CHE multipliers or 2a4 gun shield which has 420mm thickness, not 240mm as we have in the game.
Also since 2a4 is 10.3, give Dm33 bc 400mm when facing 11.3 BR is a joke.
I know that you guys aren't the developers but i dont know where else i would say this: Please bring back the Flakpanzer 341 as a event vehicle or something, cause it was so cool!

450mm frontpanzerung beim 2a5/6 sind ein witz. Natürlich hat der russe 650mm schutz und auch im turm 600mm obwohl nichtmals mehr als 300mm im turm verbaut ist

The 2AV has absolutely no armor to speak of. Even the BMP-2M shoots through it, frontally
The Leopard 2A6 doesn't need to aim for weakspots on other Leopards, they have literally zero armor except for the turretcheeks(the 122 PLSS is the only exception here, it's actually protected)
The Leopard definetly doesn't load faster than a T-72, what are you smoking?
