- These items are typically included in a standard lease BUT before you sign a lease on your next home, make sure you read it carefully and fully understand what these things really need and ask your landlord for specific clarifications.
The last thing you want is to be tied into a lease you've signed and then find out something you don't agree with or are not happy about!
Also, based on what's documented in your apartment lease, you might need to adjust your budget to accommodate certain costs outside of your rent.

What landlord/renting issues have you experienced that you wish you had asked questions about earlier? Thanks for tuning in!
I normally move every year, and I've run into almost all of these issues over the years! There are landlords who try to take advantage, so being prepared with a list of questions like this shows assertiveness and makes both parties expectations clear so there is no funny business from either side. Great video :)
Thanks so much for sharing that!
Thank you very much for this video. Just had a back and forth with a landlord of a condo because it indicated the tenant was responsible for pest control. I did not sign.
Glad you asked the landlord the question! Thanks for tuning in!
I have also had to ask the landlord about their policies regarding owning a small separate freezer or a portable washer. Some places will charge you for the extra hydro or water usage and this depends on the utilities you pay. Thanks for sharing Bola.
