    Insightful indeed...
    ● It has been almost 10 years no longer buying fast food like KFC and Mc Donald...
    ● I have cut on buying red meat... it has saved me money
    ● I used to be obsessed buying different brands of hair sprays... I only buy one which lasts me a long time
    ● I no longer buy different brands of body lotions... one is enough
    ● I am slowly getting out of the habit of buying mugs... it's a serious obsession 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Regular nail polish no more, pay for manicure no more. Gel polish kit from Amazon, Sally Beauty on sale polish ($3 in the back) .... Saved so much money! It's fast, cheap, & no sitting still for hours to dry! I have spent less than $75 over the past year to expand my tools & products. I have been doing my nails for almost a year now. Salon Manicures would have totaled over $1000 & I lose so much time at the salon.

Eventually I got to the point where I only got my nails done once a year for my birthday and started purging the stash. Also, nail polish is often full of unhealthy chemicals that I really don't need. I've pared back to 2 or 3 bottles and gotten rid of the rest.

I loooove shoes and I was like you... if they looked good, I'm buying REGARDLESS of how they feel on my feet. Now, I can't. I try on shoes at the end of the day. If they still feel comfortable, I'll buy them.
Thank you for this. I appreciate it because now I have some "clearing out" to do.

I like saving money too, but if everyone saves and no one buys the US dollar looses value I try to do a blend a little bit of luxury so I feel happy and some saving in the event that something new comes out. That's why some places never get an update, in my opinion, because we preserve everything.

I don't buy most of those things but I LOVE notebooks. I have started using them now. As a creative I recover my generic and promotional notebooks and use them as morning pages journal (an Artist Way practice). The pandemic has changed my shopping habits. I have not bought any shoes in two years! Now I wear a lot of the clothes I can't part with that I wouldn't want to wear in public. A beautiful shirt that is too big, comfy pants t hat don't flatter my thighs.. For bargain hunters the best advice I got was don't buy it on sale if you wouldn't want it (not buy it) at full price.

I stopped buying hand bags. I realised I don't need many hand bags. 2 strong handbags, a brown one and a black one works for me. I no longer buy high heels because I no longer feel comfortable in high heels especially stilettos. I've also stopped trying new skin products. Like you said girl, I know what I like and I like what I know. I also had a habit of buying something just because it was on sale and sometimes end up not even ever using it.

Add baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and tea tree oil to your shopping list. Why because they have multiple uses for both skin and at home you would be surprised how much you save in the long run if you add those to your list. Tea tree oil is the most expensive but a good investment, just like the others which are cheaper but very versatile. Check online for their multiple uses and you get what I'm talking about. Also for those who iron, I no longer buy spray starch it does not do the work as well as deionised water which is much cheaper and keeps your iron clean.

I am a Maxwell House coffee person. I recently discovered great coffee from Haiti that I buy to support the Haitian economy - two brands are Carribrew & Mokafe as well as Haitea for tea. I need to save more. I will be investing in 2022. I agree with you, I need to stop buying nail polish. I no longer buy tea that is not as organic as possible. I no longer buy meat that is not humanely slaughtered. I eat less meat. Meat has to be drained of all its blood in order to be edible. I no longer buy turkey as it is considered a domesticated vulture. I no longer buy candy or gum as I have a tooth missing. I try to bake bread more than buy it. And yes, those high heels are not worn anymore.

I'm Haitian and haven't found coffee that I like better than Haitian coffee. Dark roast with this caramel subtaste because they roast it with cane sugar.
I even put it in these reusable pods in order to brew it with my Nespresso machine.
I get a tone of it for cheap directly from home so I'm not about to spend $7 a cup at Starbucks.

This video AND the AMAZING comments !!! Thank you all for sharing!!!
    Y’all for me….
-reusable bags…( because I forget to bring the ones I’ve previously bought😑)
-stuff for my alter… ( need to smudge and lovingly give away the stuff that doesn’t resonate with me BEFORE buying/adding something new)…
-hair products…(I can honestly say I have made a conscious effort and do not buy the extras to try… I stick with what works!
-journals and self help books… before I pick up that cute new sparkly journal or ya know the one with all the inspirational quotes… I think about the whole bottom row of journals in my book case…it’s time to write that memoir, Chile!
-tarot cards/Angel cards… yes I do readings and Honey, there is ALWAYS a new deck out!!! I started selling gently used decks… because sometimes you think you are attracted to a deck but then it takes awhile to connect with it… I have my go to decks I have bonded with and a few others… but just like any type of relationship I’m not gonna force it… Heeyy….anyone into animal tarot? Gotta deck for you!😉
-markers and colored pencils…. Chile… all the neighborhood kids can just stop by and pick up a set for the up coming school year… and I’ll probably be left with the 1 marker set and 1 colored pencil set I need. Lol
    - throw blankets… 😑 … worked on that one…
    - Guy “friends”…. Oooo… no she didn’t 🤓…this comment is not for this video huh?!… ok moving on
    -accessories…. Uh yup
-makeup/lil storage bags… that have cute sayings on them like “flawless” or ya know what I mean, Chile
Ok loosing steam… there are probably more things I can not buy anymore but this moment with this video, comments and me adding my own excerpt from my future memoir… was cathartic 💚

Things I buy but have decreased
    - I make it a point to first finish the products I have instead of stocking during random purchases n sale...skincare n makeup
-I use mobile note pad to scribble stuff...hence saving paper n trash waste n plastic pen waste for non official things
    - I have stopped watching television dramas that only talk about negativity, ditching, betrayal, non constructive stuff
    - Instead of pointy heels, I opt for flat heels....gives me the height & gives me less pain
    - decreased nailpolish buys drastically

    1. Cookbooks (full of pretty pictures of food I'll never actually make)
    2. Journals/notebooks (never really use them -- just like the pretty covers)
    3. Cocktail dresses (I don't have anywhere to wear them, and I really should focus on my core capsule wardrobe)
