damn i was rly thinking of getting this as a cheap alternative to ipad pro but the line wobble and the way the screen pixels freeze for some seconds in zoom out is terrible
@@teohyc I tried that too but still has the problem. The problem comes whenever I draw the line, and then stop for a 2 sec but your pen need to the same position and still touching, then continue to drawing again but the line is missing

Finally a dedicated review of m-pencil2, it's looks like better take 2nd hand Tab s7 or iPad Air 4 than this. Btw I'm surprised Krita get that laggy in this device, bcoz I almost never get that lag in my Tab s4. Or is it bcoz the tilt?
@@kimichibreathandstinkyswea1940 some how I feel that too, when I first find it, it so smooth in my i5 tablet pc, but it's feel become slower after many update, especially v4.3.x but when I downgrade it, it still hv same performance like the newer one, it's like even when we uninstall it, it actually just hide it file system (even my default brush that I accidentally deleted, not comeback).so what only I can do is wait the next update, and use another app like csp/medibang when waiting.

@@aslamabdulatif6310 The gen 1 pen should be a firm tip. So what's the springy mechanism you're talking about? The clear tip with platinum coating is going to be more slippery, but will last longer.

@@melisaagrbas5188 Paperlike is too expensive. But other cheaper brands. Screen protectors are all the same. Writing speed is same on tablet and paper.
The wobble is comparable to S Pen. Latency will depend on the apps you use. That's why when companies market latency, they always mention tests with specific apps named. For all drawing apps I've tested, there are varying degrees of latency, applies to apps on even the best Samsung tablets.

It's done randomly, and I don't understand if the problem comes from the stylus or the tablet... Thanks !
@@chroma_tik If your stylus moves, it's because you don't put it on the tablet correctly. You have to put the stylus at the bottom of the slice, that's why the tablet coundn't detech it. I invite you to watch videos on the MatePad 11 on Huawei Mobile channel

I am rather disappointed with the first gen pen and i can still see this pen still has the same exact problem on this video. Good for writing but not good for drawing that require a neat line that dont Wobble at all not to mention the pressure curve seems weird, sure the wobble can be fixed with stabilizer but that will cost in more latency and line accuracy. Depend on your drawing Style it might still good enough for you of course. For me i have spent a few month with the first gen pen and it still unusable, but the moment i use Apple pencil for the first day i can use it for drawing just fine in any drawing APP like it was a natural. Just wanna share my experience with it, if any of you think its nice and have no problem with it then i am glad for you.
@@VincentVanGogh0 I don't have both of them. I have 1st gen m pencil and 2nd gen Apple Pencil. Apple Pencil is a whole lot better. I feel that m pencil is just a waste of money personally especially how crappy the palm rejection is.

It has same hard knocking sound. S Pen has a softer tip so no tapping sound. Hard tip will write faster and when you write, you want to write fast

Alternatives are probably those rubber or disc tip stylus with no pressure and palm rejection.

That 11.5 tablet does not support charging by the side of the tablet. You need a cable for charging and pairing.

For drawing purposes, latency isn't really a problem unless you're really drawing very fast, e.g. speed of hatching lines.

60hz -> 1000ms / 60 => *16ms latency*
120hz -> 1000ms/ 120 => *8ms latency*
144hz -> 1000/144 => *6ms latency*
