    Initially I was put off by the price, thinking it was an Android tablet. Knowing that it's a Surface competitor and has pretty high specs makes the price a bit more palatable.

    Hello! Thank you very much for your review. So far, the only review from an artist on this laptop. He was very interested in me for drawing. I'm just using Clip Studio and it's a pity that the laptop is somehow bad with lines. In drawing manga, lines are very important. Will have to keep using XP-PEN artist 15.6 pro until I save up for Wacom. And so I wanted a compact laptop with an OLED screen for drawing :)

    Jeebus more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tabs! And priced to compete with MS Surface Pro's, too at that. Am personally not convinced. Regardless of the tablet though: Great thorough & informative review, Teoh; Kudos!

      The same spec Surface Pro 8 in the UK is about £400 more expensive and then you have to buy the Surface Pen and keyboard adding another £330, they come included with the MateBook E. So is the SP8 worth £730 more than this? The negatives of the Matebook E, are maybe 1-2hrs less battery, only one USB-C, and no backlit keyboard. Whilst the MateBook has a better display (OLED) and is slimmer and lighter. It is of course running Windows so it far more useful as an X86 machine than a Tab S8+, but the Tab is a better tablet. There is no right or wrong though I think it represents fair value.

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  Před 2 lety +3

      I actually don't really see the big deal with OLED even though the colours are indeed more vibrant, and contrast better. A good LCD can still look good. I may prefer LCD because there's no risk of burn-in.

    Hello! I am considering buying a laptop, but I am not quite sure that it can suit me. Have you worked on it in toon boom stiryboard pro? Because just for these purposes, I bought an acer ezel concept d and had to sell it just because of this problem.

    • @dimademidov3897
      @dimademidov3897 Před 10 měsíci

      Yes, pressure sensitivity does not work. I believe that having a stylus and a touchscreen does not guarantee that it will work in all programs. Toon Boom Storyboard pro is a very popular program among filmmakers, but there are very few reviews for it. If you could test the capabilities of the stylus in this program, I would be very happy.@@teohontech7141
