yea not worth it and I'm Canadian. there some nicer and cozier states you could move to and not scalp all your dosh in process and glad to see my mans finally get his own studio after very early clone base days on youtube good times.

If you love CA it's worth it. Sonoma County & Eastern Sacramento Metro are affordable by the states standards, and very nice.

A 64 base plate Coruscant would be epic. Super tall buildings and a massive amount of speeders and ships. And maybe some hidden scenes from the movies/series to look for. :)
I'd LOVE to see a little series to follow along with the development of the studio. Extremely excited to see this next chapter unfold. I've been following since 2013, and it's amazing to see what's already happened - here's to the next decade.

Thriving Lego community
Thriving film scene which bleeds over into CZcams as well
Cons: Can get pretty expensive depending on where you are
PS. I just moved back up here after living in Midlothian, VA for 2 years so take it from me how it's the right move

I agree with you, as someone who used to have my studio/ build space in a separate office space 20 min drive away, it is so much nicer having everything in the same place, 20 steps away. You won't regret that decision. Can't wait to follow along the build journey!

I've been watching the channel since the Kashyyyk days, roughly 8-9 years, maybe longer. It's great to see you moving on to larger things while doing what you love. And if I were you, I'd stick to the East Coast, there are more LEGO stores in that side of the country, and you guys have the bricks and minifigs stores as well, at least compared to the area I live in. All we have is Walmart and Target, the closest LEGO store from where I'm at is almost 200 miles away. So definitely stick to the east coast 🙏
The Pacific Northwest is absolutely beautiful. Great scenery, lots of great local food places and other fun and exciting things to do and see. I think the biggest con is it can get expensive depending on where you are, but some places you can find things much cheaper outside of the large cities. I also worked for 4 years at one of the Seattle Area Lego stores, and the people at that store are so kind and passionate about LEGO. There is also a large LEGO community presence in the area, with SEALug and BrickCon! It’s a truly beautiful place to live with a great Lego community presence!
And the Idaho panhandle area is beautiful, like Coeur d’alene is another good area

So many youtube folks would let the type of success you have had run straight to their head, try to monitize every thing they can, and treat fans at a convention like a nuisance. About the construction series, I'm down for that. As a much smaller CZcamsr and about sports, nothing to do with lego, what I have done (Thanks to a Think Media recommendation) is to upload blog videos to the channel, but deactivating the notification to followers, that has help with the average view duration.

That’s some exciting news! Definitely will joining on those Whatnot auctions for LEGO. I’m up in the PNW in WA and there is some great nature up here. There is the cascade mountain range, San Juan Islands, beach access to the Pacific Ocean. The big city of Seattle, Bellevue, and Tacoma. There is some great LEGO stores up here, I’m discovering new and old stores up here every year. Would be awesome to see one of your amazing Mocs showcased at BrickCon or Bricks Cascade. DuckBricks is also up here, with the largest lego set collection. Would be wild to also have you up here being the best large scale moc builder. Looking forward to hearing your decision on where you will move to.

Pole barns, warehouses, and custom built homes are becoming increasingly popular among the more ambitious creators in the LEGO hobby. I've got ambitions of something similar myself, and I'd really like to see how others plan on accomplishing it!

David, I am 24 and I have been watching your videos since I was 10. It is amazing to see how far you have come from that fixed camera angle with noisy static audio.
