This is better than a lot of big budget films. Hopefully it will get the kind of recognition other independent films like Blair Witch did. This is seriously awesome.
Watched both part of "It", Conjuring 2, so the nun too without barely any fear. But the 15 min of the full movie, got me sh*tting my pants for like 5 minutes straight🤣
Too bad they ruined the 2nd and 3rd one... tbh the Blair witch didn’t even need a sequel.

Sadly, I’m so late to the party, just watched Miners Mountain and I was instantly in awe. Genuine good acting and production. 2 years later and still better than most if not all shorts on the platform. Please bring this gem back😢

@@anthonyreynolds866 Absolutely, and I really like the "monsters" because they're really just devolved humans which is alot scarier because I can't just go "well theres such things as terrifying supernatural beings" since the creatures aren't that far away from logic and reality.

Please make this into a series. A regular 90 minutes movie wouldn't be enough. Wendigos are the only ones that still scare me a bit when it comes to horror and you guys nailed it.

Patiently awaiting that notification for "Miners Mountain Part 2" to show in my feed
I swear this Miner's Mountain project must move forward. The concept, film's visual appearance, the characters are all on target in drawing in an audience the way a horror film should be. I'm also originally from a rural coal mining community in the mountains and enjoy all shows & films about folklore, myths, legends, tall tales, & mesmerizing stories about the isolated folks living in these mountain areas. This film's creators & cast members have struck gold with this genuinely rich idea.
The acting is incredible too! How are you doing this?

Please make this into a series, this is actually terrifying and chilling. I think majority of us watching this are hoping for a series, a movie would be great but a series oh man. It's so good.
Apparently there is supposed to be a Part 2. Its been months and months though so I don't know when its getting released, especially due to potential filming issued because of Covid. Hopefully soon though.

I'm guessing by the dates of the first episode this was probably shot right before COVID broke out... so the second no doubt got completed upended. Doesn't mean it won't happen. But if huge Hollywood studios had to shelf projects, cancel entire series, and even delay anime dubs... then Indie Devs for sure have to be given AT LEAST the same amount of grace. They looked to have put a lot of passion into this, so I'm sure they're hoping to get it out as much as we're wanting to see it.
This more than deserves to be a TV series.
My first thought after watching Miner Mountain was, “Dang! There should be a Sequel to that!” And, 💥 boom there it is! 👍❤️😎 Award worthy screenplay cast script directing etc. Well done!

It's going to turn out that, at the end of part 1, sheriff's wife was a badass hunter and the wendigos were actually running away from her. Sheriff chased after her to stop her from killing them, since he was spared. They just keep running from her, looking for refuge, but unfortunately scaring the shit out of everybody.

@@sahore1988 If I may respectfully ask a question…Have you ever tried to create original content that is the quality of the films you see in theaters? Have you ever had to raise money to fund such an endeavor? Have you ever had to work with a large group of professionals who work full time in the film/TV industry and try to get them to donate their time so that you can tell your story on the highest level? These are not easy tasks on any level. Ben has had a number of challenges trying to get this second part completed. I, too have struggled with the length of time it has taken, but we are close. We all have lives, families, responsibilities, personal and professional schedules to work around. We thank you for your patience. Believe you me, we all want this released, but please know that we will not release it until Ben gets it where it should be. And it will be excellent. Thank you.

Imagine my surprise when my favorite horror short is getting a sequel. Absolutely flabbergasted.

I assume Covid, money restrictions and maybe even workers moving to other projects is slowing the release down a bit. But to be honest. Sometimes waiting a while is better than it coming out too quick. Because then it means they really put their love and effort into it.

Okay...as I've pointed out previously, I very rarely comment on these short films (this might be the 5th or 6th in over three years and after viewing approximately 140-160 of them); however, this one definitely needs to have my .02 cents added...lol. This one was, IMHO, one of the three best I've ever seen on YT for a number of reasons; excellent story line, especially inasmuch as I'm quite familiar with this genre, secondly, because the acting was par excellence (something dramatically missing in at least 75% of those I've watched) and also the fact I spent several years (over a dozen) in law enforcement. Kudos to all involved...keep up the good work and HURRY THE HELL UP...heh, heh.

JC, this is fantastic! The acting, cinematography... GD amazing! The sheriff and FBI Agents have incredible chemistry and the creatures are something out of a nightmare. Bloody brilliant! Cant wait! As I said in a previous post, this needs to be a series! It’s up there with Netflix’s Strander Things.
Seeing this title on my subscription list was the best thing that’s happened in weeks. Bennet you’re so damn good at this dude.

Only just watched Part One today, superb. The setting, the aesthetic, the music were all on point. Great performances in a short film which is refreshing. Sometimes I'm really impressed about the quality of Horror Films like this. After seeing the first Miner's Mountain and seeing the trailer for Part 2 I was even more impressed than before. The movies that you make not only have amazing quality, they also have amazing story telling, amazing cinematografy and amazing soundtrack. You are truly making awesome movies, so all I wanted to say is Thank You, Thank You for creating such amazing Films, and for being an amazing person!

I'm a fan of horror movies where the setting is relatable and the horror can spread (not just some ghost contained in someone's house), and even well-armed well-trained authorities have trouble stopping it. (a bit of action with the horror)
