This guy had the raw line-speed of Mapimpi, the chip and chase of Habana and the hot step of Kolbe. He could have been the perfect winger. Was extremely sad to see him doping, he lost everything when he was on top of the world. Hope he comes back stronger and redeems himself. Goodluck Aphiwe hope you knock the doors off brother!!

I think he did it from being ignorant...there are so many supplements with substances, and I think it can be easy to make an error even if you don't mean to. I think even drinking too much coffee can get you pinged in certain sports. But anyway, either way, intentional or not, I hope he learns from it. I heard The Sharks were interested, would be a good place, they have the best management. Players are well looked after there generally.

I remember watching him shine back in 2017 in Super Rugby for the Lions. His pace was electrifying and he loved scoring tries. He scored on his debut for South Africa and was destined to be in the 2019 Springboks squad for the RWC but unfortunately he got banned for PEDs. Hopefully he gets a chance at redemption.

If he comes back he'll be in a Dilemma. If he performs well they're going to say it's doping again, if he doesn't they're going to say "see he sucks now that he doesn't dope anymore". Whatever happens when he comes back, life is going to be tough for him. I hope he'll be able to represent the boks in 2027 at least. Moses still, the former is a much better outcome than the latter.
I'd rather get hate and criticism while I'm banging tries left right and center as opposed to getting hate when I'm down.
One thing for sure though is that if he really was doping intentionally, his excelleration, stamina, and strength will be lower than it was before.
He'll have to rely more on skill than physicality when he returns.

When he burst on to the scene, I thought here is winger that will shatter the records of a wing. Yes, he made a mistake and it cost him 4 years on the sidelines of rugby. But, 4 years is a long time without very competitive rugby and rugby has evolved in the last 4 years since he was found guilty after he denied it at first. Yet can he proof to SA rugby and the great supporter's of this game? Only time will tell. Will he be ready? How is his mind at this moment? You can have heart but if you mind is screwed at this level you will never get it back what was lost will be forever lost. Which ever team took him back must just remember to keep is mind focus. I do believe that coach Nienaber is planning on bringing him back. That's probably why Mampimpi has been playing alone on the left wing, remember Aphiwe Dyatyi was the main winger for the Springboks, not Kolbe and not Mampimpi. I hear he is training with the Sharks this year, if that is true then I think there's a good chance that he will be chosen for the World Cup Squad. We'll find out soon.

I think he's training with the Sharks now because I heard that he will be able to train with the Sharks this year but not be able to play until the ban is over. I still think the coaches will pick him if he is actually training with the Sharks, to give him the opportunity he didn't get in the last World Cup. I think the coaches will keep their mouths shut about it and then surprise everyone when the World Cup Squad is announced. His case is unique, he doesn't have to have game time before the World Cup, he just needs to fit and good to go.

Remember before he got banned he was undoubtedly thee winger of the Springboks. Mampimpi was constantly on the bench and even Cheslin Kolbe wasn't playing that much. Aphiwe Dyantyi was always the main winger, he wasn't only good on attack, he was also brilliant on defense, when our defenses would get breached by the other team, Aphiwe would be the one who would do the dirty work and clean it up. The guy is really good and a hard worker too. I'm sure coach Nienaber has been talking to him during the ban, Mampimpi has been playing on the left wing alone, during the last World Cup until now, that suggests that the coaches are reserving a place for Aphiwe Dyantyi's return.

Bro. Off one test? As a professional athlete you get tested regularly, so this is ALL him, he isn't a junkie as you see him as. Especially with the videos displayed, this guy still has sooo much to offer.

I think it is cynical that players that have tested positive for PED’s are not banned for life, it be scientifically proven that PED’s changes the muscle physiology, with unable that person to build more muscle then any natural athlete for 10 years plus. But to be fair all professional athletes have used and are currently using PED’s, sport isn’t as honest as poeple try to make it out to be.

Jabu Mkh bro stop making us look bad.
How the hell did white people make him dope?
I know white people have done a lot of bad things to us but that doesn't give us license to blame every single thing on white people what the hell?
      The guy was doping, period.
Do I believe he was maybe targeted for the timing of the testing? Perhaps, seeing as I think most of the squad is doping anyway.
But aint no way no white person put peds into him. He did it himself.
