Harley Davidson Quick Detach Tour Pack Install

- In the first video of the Family, Baggers and the Open Road, myself and my two oldest boys will be installing a quick detach tour pack kit on my 2016 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited.
We for this video are still trying to figure out some of our audio and video recording. We hope to have this fine tuned by the time we do our first ride video. We are open for suggestions. Feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments.

Just my 2 cents. I thought you did good with the filming the video. I just wish you could show more up close on the process. I would have like to see how the tour pac went on and off after installation of kit.

With all the far away shots and time lapses I feel like I really didn't learn much. Really like that bike tho!
Part of me wants to do this to my Road glide ultra cuase it looks better but I really like the trunk and speakers. I use the crap out of that trunk.

Great video.
The best thing you can do with this kit is to put an antenna inside the fairing. Eliminates all of that madness on the rear end.
What antenna do you recommend?

BugSlide... worked great for the first few months, then it started getting waxy. I switch to Flowgenix ceramic coating, and it cleans better, and requires a lot less buffing to remove the waxy look. I wonder if it has a shelf life.
thanks for the video. I am trying to decide between a Special and top-case add-on, or a limited and removable mount conversion. this helped me to decide on the limited, so I have the lights, speakers, and DC plug included. I was curious how complex the effort would be, and this cleared that up.
Does it give the rear seat more space after you install the tourback ??
Nice video. But dont get if we need some kind of kit, so we cant take it of, or one will do it part by part, after removing the tour pack.
By the kit, i ment something that one could by with all the parts necessary to turn it into a street glide, or, should i look for it part by part.

Good video. I too have a 2016 UL identical to yours. I have recently installed a police seat and want to remove my tourpack except for a couple times a year when my wife rides with me. I'm looking for just the 4 point docking kit for now and may add the solo tourpak mounting rack. Would you know the part# for just the 4 point docking kit. The ones I have chased down so far say they fit all the touring models "except the rigid mount tourpak". Any help would be appreciated. I am subscribed!
What type of license plate mount is that ?
It came with the kit, we did not like the fitment and ended up swapping it out for another mount. Let me find the link to the newer one. The one in the video fit sloppy
