    Randy briefly mentioned in video that he feels like he could have caught more fish if using other tactics and not targeting bigger fish as a tournament angler. I am a subscriber who would love to see how you would guys would approach fishing when targeting quantity over quality (just for fun). I am sure there are many others who view your videos who fish just for fun of it. Personally - I would have a lot more fun catching many 1 to 1.5 pounders than catching only 3 bigger fish over the course of several hours.

    Even though you and Randy may have felt you struck out, today, in effect, I think this is one of the more productive videos. One, you showed us that we ALL strike out once in a while. Two, you broke down after the fact, what factors contributed to not catching them, today, and you had a VERY informative conversation pertaining to sky and wind conditions versus water clarity and water fluctuations. There was alot of information packed into this video, and I found myself, several times, rewinding sections of the conversation, to fully grasp what all was being addressed, so, thank you very much for this video. 🙂👍

    I’ve had my best luck this time of year down in the Van Winkle Hallow on Beaver. Deep speed cranking in gold or craw patterns.

      I caught em yesterday on a red craw pattern crank.. but Beaver can be tough for sure.

    Beaver lake is a very tough lake to fish topwaters.
    Live crawdads. Just saying.
    The lake is loaded with fish but they are difficult much of the time.

    The joy of fishing is just being out on the water, throwing your lines out....if you don't catch any, that's alright. It's all good. At least, enjoy the weather and the water.

    Beaver Lake strikes again!!!! I can’t tell you how frustrating this lake is folks. It’ll cuddle you to its bosom one day then kick your teeth in the very next. Fickle.

  • @theultimatesteelshooter8610

    I like the concept but how about doing on a natural lake where there is no offshore structure? Offshore vs beating the banks ...

    Randy does seem to have many fish come unbuttoned , maybe megabass should put sharp hooks on those high dollar baits, I believe Randy is better than that....

    Johnny why is the fall hard ? I’ve nit been able to figure out a good pattern all fall . They were in in-coming water flows in early fall but in. Late fall I been finding em all over the place . Docks, points , bridges . Is that how fall works ? They are just all over the place and u fish it all ?

    • @FishtheMoment
      @FishtheMoment  Před 3 lety +2

      Yeah fall is a really tough time to fish. If you look at all of the Bassmaster Opens this fall, most of the field (over 100 guys each event) struggled to catch 5 keep bass and these are some of the best fisherman out there. The fish move around a lot this time of year and suspend on baitfish so you need to be in the right area at the right time or you won't catch much. We have several more fall videos coming out in the next few weeks that will explain more
