Honda Highness CB350 vs Meteor 350 Comparison: Is There A Clear Winner?

  • Is the Honda Highness CB350 that much better than a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 that you should outright dismiss it? Or is there more to this battle.
In this video, I switch between the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Honda Highness CB350 to tell you what I feel about the both of them when I ride and how close or far they really are from each other.
Remember, just because one bike is damn good, that does not mean the other is necessarily bad. Sometimes, there is room for both to co-exist and play on their strengths.
    Watch to know more.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 in this video has been provided to me by my good friend Jaideep Singh Chahal ( / lowratio4wd )
I plan to do a series of videos on the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 - I have been given the top of the range bike, the Supernova. The windscreen is missing from this bike as it is yet to reach dealership.
The videos will also include a comparison with the Honda Highness CB350 from a user's perspective. This series will not be about 0-100 timings, not about the top speed, but information that you as a rider will find helpful.
I hope you are enjoying my videos. Do leave feedback and your questions in the comments section below, and I will try my best to answer them as soon as I can.
If you like my work, you can take a look at my Instagram, which has details on my other bikes and the small small modifications I make to them: / abhinavbhatt19
Thank you so much for giving me your time.
    Cheers

I'm relatively new to the world of motorcycling but what I've realized is that every bike has a personality, it has a character and you need to get to know them from that perspective. The specs of a bike could be amazing on paper but it could feel lifeless while actually riding it. Which is why I think the style in which you review the bikes are more important to those interested. Your wisdom comes through because you try to bring out the flavour of each bike and it's not all about the specs. Finding the right motorcycle is in fact a journey to finding out who you really are. Consider me a fan. Thank you!

This is not like the older RE motors. The new RE bikes are engineered by people in the UK who used to work with Triumph and other brands and has experience building world class products.
I'm not joking😂 . I looked up the LinkedIn profiles of all the engineers in the promo video of the meteor and it's very clear..they are all Ex-Triumph or Japanese guys who previously worked for engine consultancy companies.

Cruiser bikes are an American concept not European(or Indian). That's why world-wide they dont sell much. Look at Harley packing their bags and leaving India.
Standard classics(RETRO) on the other hand are the modern rage lol. Sales of Classic 350 in India and Triumph's retro classic bikes all across the globe does prove a very vital point.
I think Honda has hit the bulls eye with CB350 and the only limit is their dealership network. Once that takes place, well competition better beware😎
PS: In terms of biking taste Indians are way more Euro than US.
