    I rode both..for me It's the CB350 which is miles ahead, just because of it's super refined almost friction less engine, its operate with one finger clutch and a gear box that's a joy to operate..The Meteor's drive train is commendable too but nothing out of ordinary considering present day standards..

  • @VishakPillaiNagercoil
    @VishakPillaiNagercoil Před 2 lety +11

    The taller gear ratio of CB350 makes it feel a little less powered compared to Meteor. But due to the taller ratio highway cruising experience is better. Engine runs at relatively lower rpm for a given speed and hence it feels much smoother. Also gives better highway mileage and engine runs cooler.

    • @RK-X
      @RK-X Před rokem +3

      Test driven my cousins Hness,
      The taller gear ratios seem like an advantage Not just in highways , but in city conditions too... One just have to juggle between first two gears for low speed or traffic conditions. You don't have to go for 3rd/4th gear unless you are hitting above 70...
      Other bikes require you to use the entire gear ratio within 50 or at traffic conditions too ...
      Less usage of gears gives better fuel efficiency..

M a lecturer in a govt college 5.5 tall, 38years old and 85kg I need a comfortable reliable bike to commute with pillion always to college. Of the 35kms to my college 50% is city and 50% is highway, Not exactly highway it’s traffic free curvy road I can say. I have trial ridden both and it's the CB350 I am going for ( not that the Meteor is not good ). The difference i found is between is what separates a complete machine ( CB350 ) and a satisfying machine ( meteor 350 ). Will go for cb but wanna wait for some refinement from honda. More bigwings needed,very less colour options in pro varient, digital instrument cluster less readable so secondary cluster like meteor would be in next few months,wider mirror positioning, touring seat misses out, weird charging port positioning,gear lever awkward ( heel- toe angle),horn-indicator switch position swapped and clutch lever is too far. I expect a thorough refinement from Honda in near future 👍
