    I myself am a H'ness owner and my friend has Meteor, after riding 1k km I think though most things are good for honda, however there are three big complaints regarding Honda; 1) Gearing is so tall that riding in traffic needs frequent downshift, Meteor is way better in this 2) As a 5'6'' person Meteor has much better sitting comfort than this, my hands pain after riding H'ness for 2 hrs straight. 3)Color scheme is very limited.
    Never rode Benelli, so can't comment but some may find this useful

    Honda should've just sold the H'ness in regular dealerships! would have made it a lot more competitive.

      Then they would service them like activa and shine by thrashing around.
      Instead they must open more big wing showroom or hness dedicated showrooms

    Now you say traction control isn't necessary on Honda; but it saved my ass for a second when the bmc dug up the road and covered it up with dirt (instead of permanent), then it rained and it was deep slush. Honda traction control light came into action for a second and I felt the bike readjusting itself. Go Honda!

As well as, Bigwing service center engineers are far better than honda normal service centers people. So, we feel its advantage. And, yes Honda has already opened many bigwing showrooms. And, they are working on more. They just wanted to see response first, now hness will be available to everyone soon. Definitely, Honda must have some plan for that.

    First I want to say that, you guys doing english reviews is much appreciated. Due to the fact that the Meteor 350 has yet to reach our market(germany), it's impossible to get any reviews. So getting them from you helps a lot! 👍
    And to top it off, knowing that what I'm getting is the unfiltered thruth from RE mother country makes it even more satisfying. As over here we often get seemingly falsified impressions, of smaller(to our standards) displacement bikes, being less enjoyable.
    Which is obviously not true at all!
    Anyways, great video and great bikes, loved it!! 👍 👍 👍

    You are right about aftermarket customisation. I have the RE interceptor and there are so many ways you can customise this bike with good quality parts at a reasonable price. The RE wasn't designed to win races it's a well-made quality bike with a great heritage. Where ever I park my Interceptor it always attracts admirers and I am sure the Meteor will do the same. I am now in my senior years and just love Poodling along at a good cruising speed in comfort with my lovely black lambswool seat cover which allows for those extra km's. From Australia.

    After this comparison, I have started to like motorcycles. I am more of a scooter & a car person. However, now I think there is definitely an addition to my likes. Meanwhile, still waiting for the Honda Forza to hit showrooms soon. Will have to compare between the two Hondas then.
    Superb & comprehensive comparison. 👏👏👏

    After lot of watching reviews and thinking I booked Meteor though my preference was CB350. Reason for Meteor is better looks and road presence, better instrument console. What I don't like in Meteor is the low seating forward foot peg. This will give backache on bad roads because you cannot lift your bum. I am hoping to ride primarily in city and highways.
    CB350 has better rider seating angle, awesome sound and top quality. However it should improve rear suspension which is stiff, increase seat length and improve chasis design which has gaps. I will buy this Honda in its second edition whenever it comes after 1-2 years by selling the Meteor. Hopefully Honda would have incorporated the feedback by then.

    Very good comparative. Congratulation !
    Unfortunatly, the Honda is not sold in France. I have recently tested the Meteor. Very easy to driver. It will be me second motobike. The first one is a TransAlp 650.

    The RE's oil change interval is a staggering 10k kms/per year! Which makes it really economical

    • @Rohan-qr1zn
      @Rohan-qr1zn Před 3 lety +8

      Don't get too excited brother, they use semi-synthetic oil on an air cooled motor and with such long drain intervals it may lead to issues down the line. Royal Enfield probably did it for marketing purposes and many other companies have done the same, they only need to see the vehicle out of it's warranty period after that it's all on us.

    • @shivatrident5391
      @shivatrident5391 Před 3 lety

      Use synthetic oil, interval will be 10k for any bike.

    • @dextermorgan2353

      Tbh How much does an oil change cost realistically?

    • @aravindar522
      @aravindar522 Před 3 lety +5

      10K interval on semi-synthetic oil, good luck RE owners with your engine and refinement. Whereas Honda uses Fully Synthetic oil. Oil needs to replaced every 6-7k whatever the oil it is pushing 10k is too much.

    Rishaad, the comparison has been covered very nicely. The technical details are also crystal clear to decide which bike to purchase. Jusst to know one thing, i'm exactly five feet height. i really like both the bikes- meteor & highness. Which one would be a best suited for me ?
