      @@sinuslebastian6366 you have a valid point. But if you see some of their videos, they review bikes with Registeration plates. I'm sure they can get hold of someone.

Test ridden both. Both were supreme and butter smooth. Was very happy with the seating comfort offered by meteor. Cruising was effort less with meteor. The exhaust and clutch feel of cb 350 is unparallel. It was sailing swift like a feather through roads . Was very tough for me to decide . Dilemma was never this high in choosing a product. Finally left to the looks and style. And there I got my answer. With whole lot of customisation options ,colour options and appealing charm offered by meteor I made my final verdict. My better half from day 1 was there with my final decision. Cancelled my cb 350 matte black booking and customised a supernova beige Meteor. I will miss CB 350 for sure. Quiet strange on the sweet spot.. The gearing decides the torque availability and speed. Being geared taller cb 350 should be able to give a better fuel efficiency crusing at 80 but there might be compromise on roll on acceleration. Honda tried to attack the previous gen enfield engines with lower cruise speeds. RE was developing not just an engine but a better transmission with better cruise speeds.. Honda underestimated the new generation RE engines it seems. Just think what would happen if the new re engines are deployed in the classics and standard and priced much lower than meteor family... RE might just be unstoppable.. I am no fan of either brands... I always love my 2005 hero honda karizma better than these...

    I have seen all your videos after the delivery of CB350 and i felt it was really fair.The initial reactions to Meteor were little different compared to this video.Also when compared to all other youtube meteor videos in youtube.I felt some contradictions.It started once the Meteor (with the showroom Ad sticker) came,i felt like there is some % leaning towards meteor in this video where actually cb350 shines for example like top speed.Can be my perspective issue too.Anyways keep up the good work

    Thank you Abhinav sir, with lots of love and respect for your hard work. After watching your series since the launch of Highness, here is my theoretical review on CB350, based on your reviews:
    I think Honda should test CB350 Highness 2.0 in Indian conditions, as it need not to be surprise release anymore. By next year or two, or by the time Honda Big Wings open up in various parts of the country and their bikes be available in full fledged way, Honda should rectify few things:
    1) Soften their suspension to Indian road’s comfortable standard.
    2) Reduce its weight by around 10-15kgs. That would result in better power to weight ratio; and also it should give better mileage. A win-win situation for both city users and tourers.
    3) Add Accelaration to its 5th gear and add a 6th gear to maintain the speed.
    4) If possible liquid cooling can be provided, but may not be necessary if cost cutting needs to be done.
    5) Provide the customizable accessories as options for touring enthusiasts.
    Then, surely I feel CB350 would be generations ahead than Meteor or any other bikes in the segment. Being more inclined towards Honda than RE, I want Highness to better than Meteor. That’s all thank you.

    Thanks abhinav for this well articulated series. Finally we settled on cb350 due to my father being an avid fan of the CB lineup from his days and since the bigwing showroom is only 24 km away from my house, it made it even more of a no brainer. One more personal suggestion to someone who might be confused, if you want something that makes you feel proud about owning it but doesn't grab too much attention , go for the cb, else meteor it is. One more thing i recently found out is that the bottom part of dual tone colour is a sticker and not actually paint. If anyone can confirm it, it would be great!

    Pls take ur time ,dont rush stuff ,take a month or two for each bike review,the people who actually watch these videos to own these bikes with their hard earned money will definitely be watching ur review and not the others from autocar,power drift etc where they actually empasize on videography,script and stuff to gain more views ,instead of providing actual content.

Also today I heard Honda CB zipping across me and it sounded awesome. Honda has done a good job with the sound engineering. What about Meteor top end? I believe it maxes out at 120. And I'm weighing around 100kgs and 6ft tall, also has a couple of bulged discs in lower back. I've a couple of queries: Which sitting posture is better for me? Meteor's Standard Posture or CB350's Cruiser Posture? Or atleast Which one would you pick? Also which one has roomy pillion seat? Sorry for the long comment. Hope you would help. Thanks man!

    • @GodsOwnRider
      @GodsOwnRider Před 3 lety +1

      I personally feel the posture on CB will be better for your back, since on Meteor's cruiser style posture, the whole weight is on your lower back. If you have a back rest for the rider it would be comfortable, but otherwise for a tall person I doubt the comfort on Meteor for long distances. For city it would be ok. In most of the test ride spy shots you could see tall riders either hunched or placing their feet on rear (pillion) foot pegs. But as per Abhinav the suspension is better on Meteor, so that way shocks will be less.

    I just realised today that even though RE has reduced seat height very slightly in the meteor. The handle bar are not high anymore like they were in thunderbird. Foot pegs were set forward in the earlier thunderbird too. So the seating stance wouldn't really change much compared to the thunderbird. I personally would have preferred those higher bars of the thunderbird with this seat height. That would make it a day and night difference between the seating stance of meteor and highness.
