It's hilarious how much of extensive comparison has been done by such a small team. And so call biggies of reviews are not able to even get a cb350.
More power to you Abhinav! 👍
SuperYashtube Honda is to blame for that actually. Abhinav is able to review the CB350 because his "mamaji" bought one.
Whereas Honda is still not able to figure out how to get the test bikes to the journos due to poor planning.
Reviewers don't "get" bikes. Bikes are "given" to them by the manufacturer for testing
@@sinuslebastian6366 you have a valid point. But if you see some of their videos, they review bikes with Registeration plates. I'm sure they can get hold of someone.
They might have agreed to an embargo by manufacturer which at this point might be absolutely redundant and they must allow the review to be uploaded as they are now missing out on reaching to a wider audience.
Also, you are right about Honda mis-managing the show because pune doesn't have a showroom yet (as per my conversation with a few locals) . While here in vizag, the dealer claims to have delivered over 50 bikes between Dusshera and Deepavali !! 😂
Here are few points I concluded with your comparison video of the 2 motorcycles
1) Basically city ride & occasionally touring with Honda showroom & service center near you opt for Honda
2) max highway ride & touring opt for RE
3) Honda CB 350 is the lowest priced with traction control in india
4) Honda is not intrested in selling 100k units a year( not a product for every person)
5) RE plans to sell 100k units a year ( product for everyone)
6) Want to stay out of crowd opt for Honda
7) want to lead the crowd opt for RE
Just one modification " Be with crowd then Opt for RE". Rest points are great.
Anish Hindocha traction control on a 350cc bike, especially a cruiser is completely useless. Not a hater but it is what it is

After thorough research and comparison , and seeing your most precious reviews dear Abhinav ... with a heavy heart cancelled my cb 350 booking. Meteor changed my whole conceptions n conclusions. Test ridden both. Both were supreme and butter smooth. Was very happy with the seating comfort offered by meteor. Cruising was effort less with meteor. The exhaust and clutch feel of cb 350 is unparallel. It was sailing swift like a feather through roads . Was very tough for me to decide . Dilemma was never this high in choosing a product. Finally left to the looks and style. And there I got my answer. With whole lot of customisation options ,colour options and appealing charm offered by meteor I made my final verdict. My better half from day 1 was there with my final decision. Cancelled my cb 350 matte black booking and customised a supernova beige Meteor. I will miss CB 350 for sure. RE has the most fan following in India. If it matters to you go for Meteor.
But those who are looking for a value for money bike can go for CB 350.
Its just a value for money bike in metros which have big wing dealerships. Which is like 7 aprox showrooms in india. Rest throughout india Royal Enfield has better reach n service centers so it will be more value for money
Meteor starts at 10,000 rupees less and there are absolutely no major differences between the two. How is Honda more value for money?

For a skinny guy, I think Honda will be better. Highway cruising doesn’t matter much as all bikes can do n mostly people are on city ride. N even 100cc can easily go for Ladakh. So, I would prefer cb350 though already booked. 🤓

One deciding factor for me is that the CB 350 is a fresh design. Something about that motorcycle that tugs at my heart. Meteor seems good but it has the RE baggage!

Hands down meteor 👍 main reason being the service reach for RE over Honda's big wing especially when you tour through towns and villages
Yes, RE service center network is awsome and also some local good RE mechanics are available in almost all cities.if honda breaks down it would be tough task getting it fixed if one is touring long distance.
Ya Ya.. ofcourse ,you can see lots of Honda unicorn with starting issues during rainy season...Toyota in LCV Honda in two wheelers have comparable reliability, quality control of RE....But RE have service stations in Himalayan mountain ranges.
@@jeevanmaynal9209 so many service centres for RE, but no use. Service in the authorized centres are worst, i had a re350 and i suffered a lot. Maintenance are comparitevely more than it's rivals. My friends 30k clocked re500 got engine complaints.
@@yasin_mhd_ I maybe the fanboy of RE. I have been using RE bikes all my life. I think their service is top notch. It's cheaper to maintain a RE cruiser than any other bike in that range. Though I'll always recommend you using genuine parts. So, far I haven't seen any problem with RE.
@@samyeharshel That sounds good. Ride safe. Maybe the service center in your area is good, good luck. In my area, the frauds rule the service centre. Quiet strange on the sweet spot.. The gearing decides the torque availability and speed. Being geared taller cb 350 should be able to give a better fuel efficiency crusing at 80 but there might be compromise on roll on acceleration. Honda tried to attack the previous gen enfield engines with lower cruise speeds. RE was developing not just an engine but a better transmission with better cruise speeds.. Honda underestimated the new generation RE engines it seems. Just think what would happen if the new re engines are deployed in the classics and standard and priced much lower than meteor family... RE might just be unstoppable.. I am no fan of either brands... I always love my 2005 hero honda karizma better than these...

I have seen all your videos after the delivery of CB350 and i felt it was really fair. The initial reactions to Meteor were little different compared to this video. Also when compared to all other youtube meteor videos in youtube.I felt some contradictions. It started once the Meteor (with the showroom Ad sticker) came,i felt like there is some % leaning towards meteor in this video where actually cb350 shines for example like top speed. Can be my perspective issue too.Anyways keep up the good work
Bro with ur review, I got to know about hness cb350

Thank u bro for valuable comments 👊💪👌💯
Thank you Abhinav sir, with lots of love and respect for your hard work. After watching your series since the launch of Highness, here is my theoretical review on CB350, based on your reviews:
I think Honda should test CB350 Highness 2.0 in Indian conditions, as it need not to be surprise release anymore. By next year or two, or by the time Honda Big Wings open up in various parts of the country and their bikes be available in full fledged way, Honda should rectify few things:
1) Soften their suspension to Indian road’s comfortable standard.
2) Reduce its weight by around 10-15kgs. That would result in better power to weight ratio; and also it should give better mileage. A win-win situation for both city users and tourers.
3) Add Accelaration to its 5th gear and add a 6th gear to maintain the speed.
4) If possible liquid cooling can be provided, but may not be necessary if cost cutting needs to be done.
5) Provide the customizable accessories as options for touring enthusiasts.
Then, surely I feel CB350 would be generations ahead than Meteor or any other bikes in the segment. Being more inclined towards Honda than RE, I want Highness to better than Meteor. That’s all thank you.
Very informative videos….would request you to come up with after market modifications on meteor…
As a personal preference i opt for Honda ..Because for their refined and quality engine for a Classic bike ..It would be very good to ride or cruise
Looks cleaner than RE meteor
Yes but what if the showroom or service center is 500km from where you stay????
@@avengeranish i guess thats why he said it is his personal preference
@@avengeranish I might not take it as a big deal because .. if we think like that then everyone should buy only TVS and Bajaj in India .. no one should even opt for Triumph, honda,BMW and many other brands
Thanks abhinav for this well articulated series. Finally we settled on cb350 due to my father being an avid fan of the CB lineup from his days and since the bigwing showroom is only 24 km away from my house, it made it even more of a no brainer. One more personal suggestion to someone who might be confused, if you want something that makes you feel proud about owning it but doesn't grab too much attention , go for the cb, else meteor it is. One more thing i recently found out is that the bottom part of dual tone colour is a sticker and not actually paint. If anyone can confirm it, it would be great!
In dual tones, the middle line is sticker while the bottom part is painted

Hi Abhinav, thanks for delving into the details (also, on that interceptor part🤣🤣). .
You told its a 5 step adjustable in CB350. .
Cant we go down to have 2 or 3 step down preload on suspension for better comfort? Any disadvantage doing so?

As I mentioned earlier as well this is what modern auto journos are missing. Unbiased and simple, straight forward review.Abhinav I believe Honda has a better top end than Meteor. Let me know. Also today I heard Honda CB zipping across me and it sounded awesome. Honda has done a good job with the sound engineering. What about Meteor top end? I believe it maxes out at 120. Reason I am asking is everybody has a sweet spot of cruising personally. Apart from that I like the way you review the bikes. Simple and Raw..And people are here to decide what to buy.. Good stuff.
Honda has a better top end but due to the lazy gearing in the fifth, you don't feel like holding above 100 speeds for long.
Hi Abhi.. Your reviews on both these motorcycles are always welcome. If you get a chance, can you have us a video of a mileage test cruising constantly between 70 to 80kmph with not much revving or shifting gears on highways. Can the suspension be adjusted to help in bad roads for cb
Hi Abhinav, just wondering whether it might make sense to adjust the rear suspension of the Honda to the softest setting possible and see what that feels like before coming to a final conclusion? Love your videos, keep them coming.
Great information man. I've been following you since the inception of CB350. Then comes the Meteor and I'm in love with your contents. And I'm intended to buy one between CB and Meteor. And I'm weighing around 100kgs and 6ft tall, also has a couple of bulged discs in lower back. I've a couple of queries: Which sitting posture is better for me? Meteor's Standard Posture or CB350's Cruiser Posture? Or atleast Which one would you pick? Also which one has roomy pillion seat? Sorry for the long comment. Hope you would help. Thanks man!
I personally feel the posture on CB will be better for your back, since on Meteor's cruiser style posture, the whole weight is on your lower back. If you have a back rest for the rider it would be comfortable, but otherwise for a tall person I doubt the comfort on Meteor for long distances. For city it would be ok. In most of the test ride spy shots you could see tall riders either hunched or placing their feet on rear (pillion) foot pegs. But as per Abhinav the suspension is better on Meteor, so that way shocks will be less.
Thnx abinav just because of this video I have. Made my choice I am gonna buy highness 😍😍🥰🥰🥰😍
Though i had booked and haven't got the delivery of the Honda yet, I am getting second thoughts after looking at the meteor 350. It looks like a near perfect machine with almost zero vibrations even at highway speeds and a perfect riding posture even for the city riders like me. looks like the weight is shifting towards the meteor given that the Royal Enfield dealership is only a few kilometres from my place and Honda is almost 40 kms. Lets see.
Both the bikes are extremely good! Its just the matter of preference like if you want lay back sitting posture or standard way of sitting posture...😊😊
You are best best and best ever....👍
Hi the presentation is good. I just realised today that even though RE has reduced seat height very slightly in the meteor. The handle bar are not high anymore like they were in thunderbird. Foot pegs were set forward in the earlier thunderbird too. So the seating stance wouldn't really change much compared to the thunderbird. I personally would have preferred those higher bars of the thunderbird with this seat height. That would make it a day and night difference between the seating stance of meteor and highness.
Nice comparative vdo bro.. Just keep up your good work.. One thing which striking my mind time and again is the performance of this bike in off road scenario.. Since d front mudguard's length is shorter than that of RE so i think the mud splash may easily get into the contact of lower engine compartment for which Honda doesn't even provide engine cowl option as an accessory..Plz do make a vdo on your off roading experience on Highness..
Which one is better in off road & on up hill ride.
what about honda traction control (HSTC). please highlate this beautiful feature.
