Just go back 75 years when machines were cable run.
While running a long reach 375 cat, the sticks "chrome" rod snapped right where the threads begin inside the cylinder. $18,000 to repair the 5 inch diameter rod.
I was digging in water and heard a muffled bang. I thought the bucket snapped off but after booming straight up, everything was intact. It wasn't till I stretched everything out was it apparent.
No crap!!!
