When you really think about it Jyn Dhao and the 4 Constellations are technically the very first version of the Furious 5.
Honestly that's kind of true, and it would make sense because prior to Po the most powerful member of the Furious Five always turned evil.
@@IsaacCarlson Did you know they actually have a reason for picking the particular animals whose they did for the 4 constellations and the original dragon master Old Chinese believe that there is 4 animals guarding the 4 directions and the center is guarded by a dragon like the east japan also has this belief

What I really hate about Kung Fu Panda paws of destiny is that the 4warriors are shown stronger than Poe although he is dragon warrior and strongest

Oogway is such a hero he didn't need the special chi. His own chi naturally rivalled the hero's chi. I started typing this as a joke but now I'm starting to unironically believe it.

Imagine what oogwa felt hearing that the panda's, who had saved him when he was a warlord and lead him to a better path of enlightenment, had been entirely massacred. Then imagine what he felt when he saw one out of nowhere swinging through the air trying to get into the arena.
Oogway sensed the dragon warrior, he didn't see po tryna get in

I love the tie ins to the actual four constellations/four cardinal directions: white tiger, crimson bird/Phoenix, azure dragon, and black tortoise/genbu. Love it when kids franchises introduce real world mythology
Don't forget the golden dragon, who is just the Yellow Emperor.

Fun fact: the black turtle from the four constellation is a combination of a turtle and a snake, where the snake represents femininity and the turtle represents masculinity. At least that is the version from Goguryeo.

"Failure is not the end my friend. It's a necesarry part of the path". I think that Oogway thought that when he choose Po as the new dragon warrior, knowing he wouldn't follow the same road as Jindiao.
There's something I'm always been curious about. Do you think mufasa from The Lion King. Actually cause the great drought after he died. Because he was angry about what scar did to him and his son. He led Nala straight to Simba. And when scar was defeated he caused the rain in order to restore the pride lands could you do a video about it?

If you watched the animated series about Simba's son you would know that the royal family of lions inherited powers and in that story we learn that Scar inherited the powers, but he lost them because he became evil. That's why maybe Mufasa has some powers of his own.
I just keep finding more reasons to love the Kung Fu Panda franchise. They did their damn homework!
So essentially the Dragon Warrior takes the position of the Yellow/Golden Dragom amongst the Four Constellation. Fun fact: despite the acceptance of the yellow dragon, there is hardly if not never a depiction of a yellow dragon with the four constellations because the yellow dragon represents the emperor or humanity.
Po= humanity
Jin dao=emperor ( he was searching for power what will do with power without being an emperor)
the Vietnamese version of the Four Animals has the _qilin_ & phoenix instead of the White Tiger and Vermillion Bird
I always wondered why Po went from the Dragon Warrior to the Dragon Master without much explanation. Now I believe the after defeating Jindiao, the Dragon Master. Po assumed the title.
They should have Jin dao return in kung fu Panda 4 as the main villain and po’s destiny was to defeat him
Maybe they could do something similar to Arkham knight and bring back all the bad guys from past to present for one night to destroy the dragon warrior. Add in few surprises here and there like bring back a few familiar bad guys.

Honestly this is a good idea, king fu panda 5 should be about po connecting with the past dragon warriors, learning skills from them. And maybe the villain could be some reincarnation of one of the past dragon warriors’s main villains.

My theory is that multiple Chinese emperors we're assassinated and took the place of the emperor.
The five of them are based off of this old Chinese myth about the four guardians of the universe or something like that and the dragon of the center. I don't really know the details of the myth but I do know that they were of the four cardinal directions, north, south, east, and west and then the center. That myth was also used to create the four digimon gods and their leader in the digimon tamers arc.
I just looked it up and I found out that it was called the four symbols. It says "They are the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Tortoise (also called "Black Warrior") of the North."
Oh perfect I just finished dragon knight and it was good.
Howdy fun people! Concerning the timeline of everything, if Jindiao had been defeated 1000 years ago and Kai had been defeated 500 years ago then it seems on paper that the defeat of Kai couldn't have happened before the rise of Jindiao, but when I was making the video I didn't question the order in the timeline because the defeat of Jindiao coincided with the end of the Panda's connection to the Wellspring and their purpose as guardians. If 500 years passed in between the original Dragon Master's defeat and Oogway's injury, I assume that the pandas would have already forgotten their connection to chi. Plus, the fall of Kai is also an elegant foreshadowing of Jindiao's fall to evil as well since they both craved chi and power. I think a simple explanation would be that while Kai had been stopped 1000 years ago, he continued to fight Oogway for hundreds of years until he became permanently trapped in the Spirit Realm 500 years ago. I acknowledge that takes a bit of stretching the imagination, but I think the timeline doesn't really make sense otherwise because I think it's imperative that the pandas were tied to the Wellspring when they healed and taught Master Oogway. Thanks!

4 Constellations are based on every protector for each wind direction.
Seiryuu or dragon for East direction.
Byakko or Tiger (White tiger for most specific) for West direction.
Suzakku or Phoenix for South direction, and
Genbu or Turtle for North direction.
Now this the kind of quality content that og legends crave.
Part of me wishes in cannon Shrek was a dragon warrior mainly so DreamWorks can beat Pixar in the whole every project is somehow connected and the explanation would be Kung Fu Panda takes place thousands of years after the events of The Shrek films

I haven’t really caught up with the series but what happened to the current furious 5 cause I know Po took in those pandas and then the panda knight thing happens
In the case of Paws of Destiny what happened is that Po was supposed to just be visiting the Panda Village when the panda children received their Hero's Chi and original Dragon Master revealed himself. That forced Po to stay and fight without the Furious Five's help. There's a lot less explained in the Dragon Knight.
