    Thanks for the video, Dr. My son (who is now 32) has had a chronic cough every year since he was in HS. He suffered from a bad round of what I would guess was whooping cough. He is also prone to allergies. The information is a good starting point. I intend to help him find the cause if it is possible. It is a dry cough that he describes as a tickle in his lungs. He lives with it, but I know it's taking a toll on him. I'm not sure what kind of Dr. he needs to see first, but he's had an incredible battery of heart & lung tests. The doctors say he's in good shape. Anyway, appreciate your content. Thank you.

    Stomach acid came up into my mouth and gave me ulcerations in my mouth. I was told that I might have lupus.
    Twice in my life I have had laryngeal spam and could not breath when stomach acid came up into my throat and hit my vocal cords...really scary.
    Finally, raised the head of my bed 8 inches...no more mouth ulcers.
    Increased my vitamin D levels and went on a gluten and dairy free diet and got off the acid blocker meds.

    I was suffering from Asthma. It turned out to be a food allergy. Wheat and dairy were the triggers. Also peanut butter. Coconut Macaroons also made me wheezy so I stopped those. I haven’t determined yet if it’s the coconut or something else in the ingredients. While I was finding out what foods were causing it, I found that dark chocolate relieved the tight chest and breathing difficulty. One bar (90g) of 85% cocoa chocolate relieved the wheezing for about 9 to 11 hours. I eventually removed the trigger foods from my diet. I still had a chronic cough and excessive mucus but at least I could breathe. Eventually I discovered that it was the dark chocolate that was causing the cough. I found this out when I ran out of chocolate for a few days and the cough stopped. I admit that I was probably eating excessive amounts of chocolate. 2 bars per day (180g) because I was using it to keep my weight up too. I’ve stopped the chocolate now. I now need to find foods that will replace the calories I was getting from the chocolate (1060 calories). I find that being restricted in my choice of foods causes a serious problem with maintaining weight. You might be shocked at how many foods contain wheat and dairy. Eliminating them doesn’t leave a great deal of options for maintain weight. I am experimenting with high calorie/high nutrition foods such as eggs, dates, fish etc. Also be aware that fresh fruit and vegetables are not always the best option due to being sprayed with Glyphosate and other sprays. Sometimes canned food can be healthier because that has been removed. Just check the can for additives and don’t buy it if it has anything bad in it.

    In 2016 I got flu & pneumonia combo. I was put on antibiotics and steroids. It seemed like like everything had cleared up, yet months and years later I hadn't stopped coughing.
    It turns out that from my weakened immune system from the sickness, antibiotics, and steroids I had developed another, very slow growing lung infection. Three different types of mold growing in my lungs. Only a couple months ago I figured out finally what it was. And that was only after my symptoms had changed and gotten life threatening, with the changed symptoms is easier to connect it to mold.
    This is also because I slept in a room that had water damage inside the walls.
    If you think you might have a problem with mold the first thing you want to do is check your house for mold or water damage.

Any nutritional advice how to go off ppi's, as my acid seems good? I forgot to add, I was taking 5,000mg vit D, daily, for two months prior to the procedure; as my bloodwork revealed a small deficiency.

    What about if you're coming down with a cold? Any keto recipes to quell that early stages of a cold?

    • @vickieturner8688
      @vickieturner8688 Před 4 lety +5

      Not a Keto recipe, but a very effective technique that I heard Dr. Deepak Chopra talk about. Just take a cotton swab, dip it in pure Sesame Oil (the clear kind) and swab your nostrils with it. The oil doesn't allow bacteria or virus to grow. It's VERY effective and I've not had a cold or flu for a good 15 years! I also put a dab of the oil beneath my nose and breath through my nose to prevent or relieve chest congestion. Taking a teaspoon of this oil prevents escalation of sore throat. A drop or two in the ears will stave off earache.
      When out in public places, I NEVER touch a door handle, elevator button, etc. with my bare hand. I use a paper towel, tissue or my sleeve, to open doors and such. Building up the immune system with high nutrition is a great tool. Prevention and halting the progression at the very first sign of illness, is key to staying well. I pray that you will be free of colds and flu forever!

      @@rajaadawood5171 I use high dose Vitamin C to tolerance, to bring down inflammation. You might be interested in watching a video by Dr. Andrew W. Saul on safely using this method. Dr. Mary Saul Case uses this method to protect her children from mandatory vaccine complications (fever, feeling unwell, swelling/pain at the site, etc.). I found her report on Orthomolecular News.
      Another Dr. used high dose Vitamin C via IV, that saved a dying Sepsis patient. They'd tried everything else in their arsenal, without success. It was a 'what do we have to lose?' situation. It WORKED fabulously! The hospital now uses high dose IV-C as first protocol for all patients who present with Sepsis. The death rate from this insidious infection has dropped dramatically! A bonus is that it's a LOT less expensive than what they had been doing. Fascinating information!

    • @vickieturner8688
      @vickieturner8688 Před 4 lety +1

      You can. The best Vitamin D3/K2 supplement I've ever used is made by Live Wise Naturals. It's a liquid which increased my D levels, verified by blood testing every 6 months. It's high quality, organic and without any junk. Can be taken orally or on food. The standard dose is 1 drop and there are 930 drops per bottle, which would last for 2 1/2 years at that rate. I was extremely deficient 7 months ago, so took 2 drops a day for 6 months. My test results of 2 weeks ago showed me at the top of the range, so I'll back off to just one drop. I found it on Amazon for $20.
