It came back as the Dual-Phase. Same product and look. I had a brief moment to buy this neat phaser but hesitated and lost out. For a while anyway. Also, if I understand this correctly, you used a pulse clock (On->Off) voltage for the CV and that's the reason for the click. An expression pedal or synthesizer LFO should work.

@@thepedalpicassos Glad to help. Not sure what type of voltage it's expecting (unipolar or bi-polar) so double check that CV input range in the manual. A LFO might get chopped in half if the Bi-phase is expecting something like 0 to +10 V. Then you would need to offset the voltage and move the LFO into the positive range.

No, this is wrong, Behringer are simply changing to name from Bi-Phase to Duo-Phase (for copyright reasons) they will still be available.

But agreed that the originals that say “Bi-Phase” will become like the Klon of the phasers. “There’s something in those 1st units they never made again. The box.” Nevertheless kid’s will inflate value of that which is “rare”! What a World!??

Almost sounds like the phaser+flanger sound on Rocket Ride, guess Kramer and Frehley used the original bi-phase to create that sound and not a separate flanger stacket with a phaser as some seem to believe.

This is the only decent gtr demo of this unit on the web, although it would’ve been nice to hear the option of switching the generator to the cv pedal position without the pedal plugged in to hear the frozen filter/tambre option. But, I got enough of a sense for the sweet and even sweep that the pedal produces as well as the myriad routing possibilities from reading the old Mutron manual to make me pre-order one from Sweetwater. I can’t wait!!!!

I just bought one for £149! The only difference between the Behringer Bi-Phase on here, and the Behringer Dual Phase that I bought, is the name printed on the pedal and the box it comes in!
    Oh yeah, and the price….
Behringer Bi-Phases are selling for around £400 compared to the £149 I paid.
Both of which is chicken feed compared to the over £3,000 the original Mu-Tron Bi-Phase is selling for!

You need the Behringer FCV100 (also runs off 12v) and a balanced cable... and away you go... as close as you're ever going to get to owning the real deal (with all their degraded components!) ;)

Great frikin Pedal! I bought one the second I saw this video. Slim pickings! Mine came from “The Land Down Under”. It’s a bitch to figure out at 1st. Especially the power supply to give it enough juice! What power supply are you using please? BY The Way, Great Mind’s Think Alike! Your very beautiful and Truly impossible to overdrive without a Black Country Customs T.I. Boost, (TRY IT) dime the Marshall Astoria Classic. You do have KT-66’s in there yes? Dime that ducker into a 2x12” cab horizontal on the bottom of a 4x10” Jensen Loaded Cab! My Sound City 4x10” sounds like Pete Townshend loud! Will your Amp overdrive itself without a boost? Thanks, Blessings, Thomas Adams 11:11®️

Please note that this is not a criticism of this CZcams channel, just something we decided it's fair to point out to the community of CZcamsrs and players, after an extremely (and uniquely) negative personal experience we recently had with staff from the Behringer conglomerate.
Our opinion is that Music Tribe/Behringer, a multi-billion company, adopts opportunistic and at times also borderline exploitative strategies in order to maximize its profits. That's their priority, and there's nothing wrong with prioritizing profits. Unfortunately, though, they take this business approach to extremes that sometimes conflict with ethics; no other major company in the musical instrument industry behaves the way they do.
From our experience, it regularly tries to get free exposure from CZcamsrs without paying them; it's public knowledge that it has sued people for expressing their opinions about its products and publicly mocked journalists who criticize them; it also produced a borderline chauvinistic video ad at some point, just to mention a few notable things.
At the peak of the pandemic, when gear builders were selling 3 to 5 times as much as in a normal year while promoters like us were seeing their earnings collapse, their TC staff tried to get us to do some promo for them "without a budget."
Please note that while we cover all pedals on our blog without asking for money and we sometimes even do promotions without a budget for small, emerging brands, we don't think any multi-billion dollar company should ask anyone to work for free, ever.
This personal experience, added to the many examples of morally questionable behavior highlighted in the video below, motivated us to post comments like this one on every new video highlighting TC products we stumble upon, in the hopes that this negative publicity will make the company change their behavior.
