Cool, I remember when it was that easy to work on my cooling system. Now I'm running a couple electric water pumps and 2 radiators.. We will see how that will work out.
When I first restored my 57 in the 70s, I ran the Cragar's with the spinners. But I ended up brass platting my spinners. I also brass plated my disc brake calipers. That looked real clean through the spokes of the Cragar's.

I have the spinners on my Nomad. Very good choice.

I really like your explanation of the angle of the drive train!! 3 degrees is what is recommended, so that is what I will strive for. Where can a guy buy one of those 'angle finders' like you showed?? I had a little vibration in my 56, so I am real interested. Thanks for sharing your expertise!!

There are lots of videos on this at youtube. Monster Transmission has a good write up at their site as well. I'm still waiting on parts so the intake is not ready to go on.

Is Steve my brother by a different mother? His choices are perfect. I'm a Cragar SS with spinners, Cherry bomb muffler with tailpipes, short water pump kind of guy. Although I do prefer a 56 over a 55 but I love them both.

Hopefully u can help me on getting a 8-in wide x 15 steel wheel made, stock rear end and suspension on a 55 Chevy as far as the back spacing. Would four and a half inch backspace give me clearance as long as I don't get too big of a tire? Thanks I've been watching you for a long time. Great job!.

Steve's old rally wheels on the rear were 15x8 with 4" backspace. He had no rubbing issues before

@@haffrods7055 thanks. I believe you said on the cragars you went four and one quarter inch backspace. That would be okay, right. I have to say you have really educated me over the last couple years in regards to a 55.

@@gregburris4947 Yes Cragars are 4 1/4" backspace BUT his car has a 1976 Camaro 10 bolt rear end. They're wider than stock but can't remember how much wider
