  • Putting together a video series for the FIRST time builder of 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevrolet cars. It is geared toward your very first attempt at building an old car. I'm no expert but have some advice from my personal experience with messing with Tri 5's for 30 years.

Man o man, is this great advice, especially the part of making and keeping it a driver before tearing it apart and labeling EVERYTHING!

Robert, want to say thanks for this video. I have a 57 that a body shop disassembled for me and then went out of business. I’m now going to try the resto /rebuild myself, so this video has been a great inspiration. Thanks again.

That alot of great info. Most people dont understand how many different bolts a old car has. Plus the little clips and brackets and so on. Best to take your time and stay organized. Your probably the most important thing when taking on a project is knowing what your goals and project are. Thanks for the video it eas was a good. Later man 👍

Good video....thank you for taking the time to post. Working on a 57 at the moment. You learn right away that the price of parts adds up fast.

Great video buddy. You’re humble but you’re on a professional level. Your 55 is top notch!

Excellent video! I will definitely take your advice! I have a 55 nomad I am gonna be starting on. Definitely on a budget and need to do almost everything on my own. The car has been in my family for 40 years, so I’m gonna give it a go and see what happens. Thanks for the info and I’ll be checking out more of your videos!

Great informative video I just want to add to all that have watched this video don't scrimp on good parts remember you're life depends on the safety of those parts. But you can spend a lot or a little and have good parts but safety is paramount. I will add just like mentioned here start buying parts a little bit at a time and it won't be so overwhelming and enjoy your build and take your time 😉 great video by the way.

This is a great idea, getting the sources of information all in one spot. Thanks for that. I want to put 57 bel air tailfin chrome pieces on my 210 2dr post. Where will I find out placement of those weird holes I need. I could wing it but it's way too nice to screw up doing this. Hope your holidays are happy times and thanks.
