I've been watching you for a couple years. You amaze me at the knowledge that you have in regards to 55 Chevy builds and modifications. Your attention to little details never ends. Also your ability to do all kinds of metal work and modifications. Your decisions on things all seem to make sense. Stay independent and keep putting these videos out. Blessings!

I have those extra bumper pieces on my ‘55. I’m told they were typically extras that were added at the dealer (for what that’s worth).

Question: I have a 57 with a Vintage Air. I can’t get the heater to work. The coolant won’t go past the heater control valve when it’s open. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Question: I have Vintage Air in my 57. I can’t get the heater to work. The hot coolant gets to the valve and it opens but won’t go past. Any ideas? Thank you for your time in advance!

If valve is in correct hose and facing correct way. If the controls and processor opening valve. I would remove valve from hose, leave electrical connector and install a small pipe just big enough to fit inside diameter of hose. Connect and run with heat on and feel to see if it makes it to the core in evap system. If still no heat maybe core clogged or kink in hose interior. While trying look at valve and make sure it is open.
