With a 600bhp and 900Nm Twin-turbocharged W12 the new car packs a strong punch and here I have an opportunity for an experience on the track to test out its dynamic capabilities. Having previously driven the car off-road and in the sand dunes, this was a further are in which to get an understanding of it.
Join me for my laps exploring the car as well as some further clips, before we catch a private flight back to LAX to wrap up an amazing trip.

As Tim/Shmee has never had a off-roader before thumb up if you think Tim/Shmee should buy one.

BMW gave him an X6 for a bit. Not sure why he would need one, but a cool suv though.

Almost the whole chassis was made in Ingolstadt and Wolfsburg :) My Dad said, they had a lot of pressure, developing the Active Roll Stabilisation for the car, you will find the same system also in the new SQ7, but it had to be ready until the pre-production of the Bentayga began.
Yep, thats right. The tuning and the setup was the task of the bentley engineers.

Its pretty amazing that an SUV can do this. Its so big and heavy and yet its fast and handles well. Also loving the interior.

Reminder a Ford Edge Sport pulls the same amount of Gs and has the same time around Motor Trend's Figure 8 track as a Porsche Macan.

It's amazing how good the Bentayga looks in every single color option shown so far!
Being able to 4x4 is extremely fun. And doing it in style with the performance and looks up a Bentley make is even more desirable. Great to see a these cars tested in my hometown!

2. Are standart breaks enough for such a heavy car?

Sorry guys for this question but why is a car with a twin turbocharged W12 is not able to develop more power than 608bhp? I mean for example some cars with a V8 are able to develop more than just 600+bhp.

The only problem I have about this car is the looks. It does not look bad but when you want to own a Bentley, you want people to know that. I really don't think people would be like "Oh wow, that SUV must be pricey!"

Bugatti remarked that the Bentley (the original that is) was the fastest truck in the world. I wonder what remark he would make if he saw this. Oh god! a Cayenne with a hump over the back or something? I personally was almost born in the back of a Bentley, way back in the 1950's, and I can say with all honesty, I was brought up with Bentleys. But I don't come clear with B doing this no matter how good it is. Misuse of the flying B label in my opinion. No doubt plenty of new rich people will be lining up. Good luck to them. I love my Toyota Auris hybrid.
