Time to sign him to street beefs Face!! Lol just kidding. But yeah so true!!
He should hit him with a diamond cutter at the end credits
Unbelievable. Inpiring.
Butterbean, Jake Roberts, Scott Hall, Mick Foley, Dustin Rhodes! DDP is amazing!
I didn't know ddp helped him
Bean has officially won "the tough man" competition.
bro has won that award multiple times tbh
@@geoghoul I understand that but after this sh*tstorm he earned it far more.
So true 💯
@@eduffy4937this is beyond that
man when I saw Butterbean with saying your filming me getting his chair off the van i started crying man
After the wheelchair, after the tremendous amounts of pain, after the desolation...
To the this man not only stand up again, not only running... Brother was BOOKING IT.
It's truly amazing to see the spark in his eyes again.
The Bean is back.
Truly is; "I always believed I could do anything, and I forgot that somewhere along the way".
As a german kid from the nineties i can tell you all of us knew him over here.He is a legend!!!!
Ha, stimmt. I think it's because they showed some of his boxing on the biggest german Sport channel at the time, "eurosport". And once you saw the bean you couldnt forget him.
Butter Bean to just see him walk upright again without having the painful facial expressions on his face makes watching the video worthwhile, Love you DDP. Jose Chacon
Crippled like hell. He also has CTE from boxing and will get Worse. Thats whats happens to boxers, MMA fighter. Football players.
Yes about 4 years ago he was selling pens at Sevierville tn flea market
He was in such pain it hurt him to stand for pictures
I cried seeing his pain
they got me when he smiled
This is OUTSTANDING.
can make a grown man cry 🥹
Uncle Chael the legend himself.
Respect to you Uncle Chael!
Shoutout Uncle!
you should do an interview with him. mans a legend like you uncle Chael
This has me in tears. loved Butterbean as a kid. I wish him nothing but the best.
dude i just clicked on this randomly, didn't know i'd get all emotional too
I love Butterbean.
I am a physician. This man did what I knew could be done. The key word being DID. He had help, but HE did it. To see the sparkle back in that man’s eye is glorious. Way to go cowboy! My prayer is that at least one person sees this and is inspired to do the same then pass it on. I’ve seen it done before by lesser known men but to see this man’s man pull it off should be the spark to set the wheels in motion for others. He whipped everybody’s ass including his own!
I’m a family physician. This man f**ed his body
"I'm good now."
Literally the best words you could hear your fellow man say, and not break eye contact. Man I felt that.
💯...🎯
I shed a few tears when he said that, with that smile on his face :)
It was so genuine and heartfelt, like god damn that must be some serenity.
gave me a good lump in my throat
Please stop using gods name in vain. If he would only take the time to understand what he does for us maybe you wouldn’t curse him
This made a grown man cry, I'm literally in tears of joy for this guy, that part where he starts running.. what a fighter, not just in the ring but mentally.
That's some beautiful stuff brother.
😭😭😭
It got me too brother . Thing is , it’s not the fact that we want the feeling , it’s watching the feeling man . Great work Guys !
That was the part that totally broke me too! I felt that lump and when I saw my dude running, so ran the tears. What a legend!
You aren't the only one.
This legend absolutely deserves to have a good life
Butterbean is the epitome of the kind giant. He was one of the most intimidating men in the world at one point but he has the kindest heart and deserves this second chance with his family. It's also so cool to see everything DDP has done for all of these legends.
DDP deserves some kind of humanitarian award. People don't usually get a chance to save even one life, but DDP saves them all the time.
He should get the warrior award and a second induction into the wwe hall of fame just for his charity work.
He also helped out this former paratrooper who had lost the use of his legs but with the help of DDP's Yoga class he not only regained use of his legs, but he was also able to run.
Awesome, you're saving lives!❤
I was just thinking that before I read your comment. People unfamiliar with DDP don't realize how many drugged/drunk-out athletes he's brought back from the brink. At a minimum there should be a documentary about DDP's humanitarian work.
Absolutely the truth.
I loved watching Boxing with my grandpa while I was growing up, Butterbean was one of our favorite fighters.
We love you, Butterbean! Take care of yourself and eat healthy organic foods!
I understand pain, depression and the loss of everything. Never stop fighting and endure through it all. It is what makes us stronger. God bless everyone.
" you like to see good things happen to that kind of person" Johnny hit the nail on the head, Bean seems like such a gentle soul ❤
He knocked Johnny Knoxville out in a department store, one time that was funny
Its a funny dichotomy. He's an insanely powerful fighter and savage knock out machine, but then outside the ring he seems like such a gentle, kind person.
@@Nantosueltait always seems to be that way, the biggest psychos in the ring are such gentle people outside of it. A buddy of mine used to box with the kindest person I’ve ever met, would do anything for anyone, wouldn’t hurt a fly and as soon as he stepped in the ring you could shout his name and he wouldn’t even know who you were, he just wanted to fuck somebody up.
DDP deserves a goddamn nobel prize for the lives of so many of our childhood icons he has personally saved!
Say it again.DIAMOND FUCKING RULES
I've heard more than one wrestler or mma guy say ddp helped them out of their toughest spots.
I don't get all gooey over famous people but someone who uses his resources to help out other people for the simple reason that he knows what they're going through and seems like the real deal... yeah that to me is how God would want people to live.
Fucking truth dude. So glad DDP is such a beacon of hope and positivity after him being one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid. So many of the pro wrestlers turn out to be bad guys behind the scenes
@aaronbaron3155 facts
we have all these philanthrocapitalists getting praise for what is in effect tax write off and ulterior motives behind their actions. DDP is so pure and benevolent. This gem of a man cannot be celebrated enough.
DDP deserves a Gold Medal for being one of the greatest men on earth. Butterbeans journey and how he was able to regain his health made me tear up. i myself suffer from back injuries and multiple shoulder and rib injuries that limit my movement. but i stretch and work on them everyday. i am limited to some things but i do my best and never quit. i watch DDP cause he works on the one part that is crucial to recovery... THE MINDSET. and that is what makes him GREAT. GOD BLESS DDP and GOD SPEED to BUTTERBEAN on his Journey. STAY STRONG!!!
I was never a big fan. Didn’t dislike the Bean but was never a big fan. I fucking love this guy now What an inspiration.
Live for something; don’t just sit around waiting to die. I’m 51 years old and I’ll live by that from here on out. Thanks Bean and thanks to this channel.
Best thing about Butterbean was that he wasn't a jerk.
This is awesome so glad it's going viral! DDP is the man!

So sad to hear about him being in such a rough place. Watched him kick ass back in the day, seems his still doing it 🤠 Go brother!
Not surprising. You can't carry that big of a frame, that much weight around, for so long without significant wear and tear on the body.
I thought BB was deceased. Thank God he has made this amazing recovery!

Absolutely. He went through it and now he has a life again. Amazing. Inspiring

Seeing Bean run is absolutely epic! I never took him serious, but seeing his life story and the pain he went through!? I have mad respect for his achievement with this. 👏
The "Bean"! Just awesome.
I was a firefighter, pretty beat up, 177 when I should be 147, on pain medication, b.p. and cholesterol too. Used to be quite a "machine" even when I was 45...am 70 now. I'm questioning my mental and physical ability...you have inspired me Mr. Bean. I don't have the support team like you, just me..but I'll try. Tough times never last... tough people do. 🙏✌️♥️🇺🇸

Christ have mercy, that MMA warrior went airborn to drop kick Butterbean, and he just bounced off of Butterbean. Butterbean is truly a human tank, a unit of power.
I know! I took screenshots of that shit! 👏 Amazing!
LOL, Butterbean was never the same after a 52 year-old Larry Holmes gave him a boxing lesson.
Absolute warrior inside and outside of the ring! Bless you Butterbean!

I started chopping onions... they're strong
Damn you guys too? 🥲😊
that fuckedd me up when he said it was embaressing they were filming him get his chair on the van fighters have it bad
I look at butterbean and I can totally relate. I was over 400 pounds. 3 heart surgeries and even after that they gave me two years. That was enough to scare the living hell out of me. As of this moment. 13 years later. I'm down to 170 pounds. My waist went from over 50 in before. Today. A 32.. I was able to do this all on my own. My A1C is a 5.8 been off of insulin now for over two and a half years. I went from 17 different medications down to just one baby aspirin a day. You have to believe in yourself and find that inspiration to keep you going. Fasting is the true key to success.
That is awesome man! I went from 276lbs to being stuck at 237lbs for the last couple years. I suffer from gout and that has been real bad. I was given levofloxacin just 2 pills last week and that has put me in a wheelchair. I was giving up on life until this video.
@@popeantichrist8847 I would never take away from your successes every pound that we lose is a milestone. And yes once when you get rid of the water the fat is the challenge especially the fat surrounds your vital organs. And trust me fasting does not damage your internal organs it helps them actually quite a bit. And if you're not eating food your body will continue to eat and it will eat all that fat and things that it doesn't need. Trust me it's not easy but it works. Best of luck
@popeantichrist8847 I have horrible gout. I was put on 400 milligrams of allopurinol and it slowly went away and my uric acid levels are only low because I take allopurinol. I wanna get off it and see If I can follow a strict diet to keep my uric acid levels low without meds.
Take MSM everyday. Take Cordyceps Militaris everyday as it will increase your kidney function (I went from a low of 46 to a high if 117 in a little over 3 months on it)And also take Psyllium seed powder everyday as it will lower your Uric acid level very nicely, it lowered my UA level from 9.4 to 6.2 in 30 days.@@user-oy5ee8qp9k
That's absolutely impressive!
Butterbean was my son's hero when he was a little kid. Me and my only son and best friend used to watch Butterbean kick ass when he was in his prime. I'm 60 now and my son is fully grown and out on his own. I'm sitting here on the couch wiping tears away after watching this . Butterbean is absolutely an inspiration. I cannot wait to tell my son about this. I don't think he's aware of what all Butterbean has been through
So happy I watched this. Massive respect to DDP and the team. Massive respect to Eric. Go Bean Go!
when he said "I'm good now." there was such a peace in his voice.. amazing

After so many years of constant turbulence and grind, I've become as hard-hearted as the roads I've traveled, but this had me as close to crying as I've been in many, many years.

Dallas has changed so many people's lives.
Guess it's time to contact him an see what he can do with this old war horse.
I may not be famous like Eric, but I was a soldier, police officer/Firefighter/and paramedic fighting for those who couldn't. May not be glamorous but I tried to help people.
Now I'm pushing 70 and have artificial parts and live in constant pain.
At 6'4 and 330 pounds and growing I need to do something.
This video is inspiring to me. We'll see if being on a fixed income can afford DDP Yoga or not.
Send them an email, you never know. You're a vet, I bet they'd love to help.
Thank you for your service.
to start you need to lose massive amounts of blubber.
if you lost 170 lbs, just about every single one of your issues go away.
May God give you the strength to do whatever it takes my friend. What journey starts with but the first step.. Now suck it up and do the less painful things first.. But make sure you start with small goals and keep your head up hi !!!
Even without DDP's help, the best thing you can do is invest in yourself. Bite the bullet and pay for a personal trainer and setup a schedule with this person that you will be accountable to. For example, mon, wed. fri. at 10am. Standing appointment commitment to meet your trainer. You can do it, a trainer will help. I need to do the same commitment myself. We can do it.

I've been watching combat sports since the 70's. I've seen all the greats like Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, and Holyfield. In my opinion, Butterbean is one of the toughest people to ever step into a boxing ring.
I'm 6'7 430lbs and I'm struggling but this gives me hope! Good job guys!!
without a pro trainer there's only two things easy enough to follow.
A resistance training to gain muscle.
And some kind of low carb diet like carnivore diet. Maybe one meal a day. Starting each meal with some vegetable, then protein and fat, then carbs if at all. This hack causes much smaller insuline spike which is the cause of problems. Some carbs may be needed in the beginning because of the metabolic syndrome and lack of ability to use fat as fuel. The ability comes back tho once there's not enough sugars
@@trollmcclure1884 That's something I'm dealing with is sugar spikes trying to figure out my meals, exercise routine, etc. Taking a multivitamin with extra water instead carbs is something I thought about. I'm 42 years old now, wish I would have cared about my body in my 20's instead of working overtime at a shitty job lol

Yeah butterbean is our child hood underdog. He will always live in our hearts!
"And there's nothing any of us can do." That's a defeatist's mentality. You want to know WHAT you can do? You can put down the beer, stop eating the fast food, get in the gym and train as hard as you can for as long as you can. There is a difference between letting life and time destroy you and aging gracefully.

DDP out here saving our childhood heroes. Protect this man at all costs.
I've always respected Butterbean for his attitude, wherein he fights to entertain the crowd first and to win second.
I don't say this to many people, but I really identify with this man. I'm 68, never boxed but I was a hwt wrestler and an offensive lineman. Now I weigh 400 lbs. 2 hips replaced at 57, I was about 350 lbs. I broke my back in 1990 and surgeon patched me back. I started drinking vodka every night to get to sleep. Now I can barely walk. Last month I fell and broke 4 ribs, ambulance drivers couldn't lift me. I'm depressed. I was a different man at one point in my life. I always loved working out. Now I want to change but first the vodka has to go. That's gonna be hard, really hard.
A little tearful to watch. Thank you.
I love Eric. It was such an absolute pleasure to watch him box in the '90s and early '00s. And now, That warrior has taken himself straight out of the grave and fought his way back. Love that guy.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronnie Coleman, Butterbean …….. it’s always shocking when you see your idols reduced to a fraction of their former greatness. So glad we have an advocate……
God Bless you DDP. It's one thing to start a business to make money and it's just a bonus of that business is helping people... But to truly be saving lives and seem to genuinely care is a whole another level of human being.
By backing these people not just personally, financially and emotionally, but most of all spiritually... You are the epitome of putting your money where your mouth is, practicing what you preach and believing in what you do. Your work is not fixing people... It's wanting and allowing other human beings to be better so that they may live their best life. Your impact on this world will never be forgotten and your legacy will always live on because of that.
I've been a follower of Butterbean's career and the challenges he throws at life. What a story. What determination. What inspiration. What wonderful support.
