I love the young players and the pride they have in playing for the Azzurri. As an Italian born to an Italian Father and Scottish Mother, growing up in Zimbabwe, the Italian heritage seems to be the predominant surge that flows through the veins. I cannot truly understand the honour and privilege to represent the nation but I see it represented in full, especially, when the likes of Varney, Negri and Lynagh get on the field. Wishing him the best of luck and success, alongside the team and staff! You make us very proud to support Italia!

in realtà ha detto che fino a quando ha vissuto in Italia parlava solo italiano, con il nonno parla italiano, per cui l'italiano lo sa, magari deve solo riprendendolo un po'.
How can he not speak Italian, especially with his mother being the Italian speaker? I'd honestly be embarrassed rocking up to play for a national team and not being able to speak the language.
Yeah, I think it's mental. With his mother being a 'very proud Italian' and 'does everything she can to make sure her kids are too' I just find it baffling he doesn't already speak fluent Italian. Hopefully, with him moving to Benetton we'll soon hear him speaking in Italian more.
