But you can still save the saw buy using parts from the type 3,4 or 5, or the dw708.

I wished you were around a few yrs ago when I toasted the motor in my dewalt belt sander (a notoriously unreliable unit). I ended up binning it because I didn’t know about replacing bits.

Actualy, I can only source parts for. Main suppliers. So when dewalt stops making them, that it, I cannot get parts.
But parts are still available online from other shops and also eBay. So you can still get parts, but I cannot.
@@deandohertygreaser none on eBay, none on any parts seller in the uk. Spent two days looking, only one I can find is from aliexpress in China for £120 delivered. Disappointing from Dewalt to be honest.
