Hey guys it’s Hina from Rebalance!
I had a question from a response from another video from someone who was experiencing intermittent rectal pain while they were working out and doing exercises such as squats. Pain in this area could be coming from pelvic floor tension.
First, you’re going to want to be evaluated by a pelvic floor therapist to determine the cause of your symptoms., However, this is a simple exercise you can try to see if you get any relief from your symptoms.
    1. Go into a position called child’s pose or prayer stretch.
    2. Make sure your toes are tucked under
    3. Sit back and bring your buttocks toward your heels and bring your chest and head toward the ground.
    4. In this position, as you breathe in, release your muscles, like you’re initiating a bowel movement or urination or both at the same time.
    5. Do this for 10-15 breaths.
This helps to release the pelvic floor muscles. So if you’re experiencing pain, try this throughout the day a couple of times per day. If it does relieve your symptoms, it could indicate you have a pelvic floor issue. Even if it doesn’t give you relief, it doesn’t rule out a pelvic floor issue. You definitely want to find a physical therapist in your area to have yourself properly evaluated.
If you’re in the Philadelphia-area, visit our website www.rebalancept.com for more information or to schedule a complimentary phone consultation. If you’re not in the area but are seeking a recommendation, contact us and we can help you find a professional in your area.

This is Incredible . I was going crazy with this pain . It comes unexpectedly at night waking me up from sleep. Usually an agonizing 20-30 minutes and nothing relieves it . Then I saw this video and I was a life saver. It relieves the pain in less than 2 minutes . Thank you very much. I was thinking something very serios was wrong with me .

    Dear All,
Here below is the potential remedy which I have personally tried and felt a big relief.
    1. After every meal or breakfast (after 30 mins of your meal), drink warm water 2 glass full. Water has to be Warm.
    2. Do not eat foods which can produce gases in your body like beans, lentils, milk, broccoli, salad etc.
From my understanding, this proctalgia problem is associated with the Vatta Dosha in Ayurveda, due to gases/air generated in the body due to indigestion.
Gases could be the main reason for buttock/hip spasm, and drinking water after a meal reduces/dissolves these gases.
Please do it for 10 days and let me know if you feel any relief.
    Best Regards,
    MK

After that you have to go for anorectal biofeedback therapy for treatment. No medicine will work, only excercise will work. I got treatment at Vellore CMC hospital, Tamilnadu, India.
