I just had to let you know I applied for a pip 12 months ago, got refused and lost the mandatory consideration. So I applied again and watched one of your videos about how to answer the questions. I followed your advice was honest and I got a call the other day to say I have been awarded pip 🎉 thank you so much for the advice your amazing very clever and doing a fabulous job. I have no doubt in my mind without listening to you this would never have happened. I have ADHD, Dyslexia and other health conditions so you explained things in a clear way that I could understand. Sending you a massive hug 🫂 kind Regards x

Do not give up is sound advice, My son has a brain injury (ABI) after encephalitis and would simply have given up if I had not pushed for him. He gets ESA(support group) and PIP. For both benefits I found that the DWP was so unhelpful, and we had to battle all the way through the process for both. For PIP we had to go to tribunal, we did have help but without my help he would have given up on many occasions. BTW I feel you are giving such a good service with your advice, Thank you on behalf of all those you must be helping.

I did go to a charity, but went well armed with how to answer all the questions, with great thanks to your channel. They were very helpful and had the points in front of them, but didn't discuss the points with me, or how important is was to answer the questions with the points in mind. So I'm very grateful to have been educated by you and knew exactly how to answer the questions. I haven't had an assessment yet. Bu thanks for furnishing me with the knowledge to get the first part right, Charlie xx

You can spent PIP on whatever UNLESS you have a care package and council will try take all your care element. Then fight tooth and nail for what you consider to be an essential item for your particular disability. All of mine were disallowed! It’s a two tier system.

You can probably expect Labour to tweak a few things here and there but on the whole, there will not be many changes. In fact, a few Labour MPs have said that the Tories should have gotten even tougher! If that's even possible. Crazy or what, eh?

Even if a person ends up with zero points and it ends up with the claimant having to attend a tribunal, there have still been a lot of times the judge has awarded PIP. People forget that it's not Charlie winning your claim for you; it's the judge. But people never talk or mention this for some reason. When all is said and done, you've just wasted over £600. I had to stop working in 1985 due to cronic pain in every joint and was not able to work for over 5 years, till I retrained in a completely different industry. when I had to stop working my wife and I had 2 children 1 boy aged 4 and 1 boy aged 1 and my wife was not working at that time and because of my condition she couldn't go out to work. I was worried sick that we would lose our house and all we had worked for because we could not keep up the mortgage payments, without our parents we probably would of lost it all. At this time I had a social worker and at no time did she ever mention DLA, that payment would have been a life saver.
So I would like to say to people don't think or rely on certain people to give you full advice, you need to find out yourselves.

I have found that IF the assessor follows the proper path then you should be judged fairly. What you find is that as soon as you get one of the box ticking morons they will fail you regardless of how ill you are. This for me is why PIP is in such a mess when its easier for them to simply follow medical evidence and those with the most sever cases should be paid the higher rates and for a longer time frame. The Tories are just trying to take away as much PIP payments as they can to save cash and this is where it all falls down

    • @linndrumfan1959
      @linndrumfan1959 Před 3 měsíci +1

The problem is that they often don't follow the proper path. Even when they do follow all the correct procedures, you are still at the mercy of the DWP descriptor's decision
You've only got to look at how many people's claims for PIP and the WCA assessment end up going to a tribunal. It really shouldn't be coming to that time and time again. With our claims, it's a case of they are assuming we're all liars and they are making us jump through their endless question hoops to prove our innocence.

Hi all, just a heads up for everyone:
I'm afraid to say that Charlie never responds to direct questions. However, you could bet big money on receiving a swift reply from her if you were asking for help with your PIP claim!!
All this woman thinks about is ££££. Does she really have your best interests at heart? I imagine if she did that she would make an effort to reply to your comments, even if it's responding to just a few of them. She certainly has the time, so she can never use that as an excuse. She also says that she's always in constant pain yet there's never any sign of that pain when she makes her overly long YT vlogs. Go figure.
Charlie's favourite film quote of all time surely has to be "show me the money!" from Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding Jr. flick Jerry Maguire!!

I think Charlie can more or less see right through the fakers claiming which they need to clamp down on. It really angers me when I see this happening because they lie so much they convince themselves of their lies by having a string of illnesses or another will miraculously arise out of the blue that wasn’t there before. Milking the system for all they can. They’re so transparent, it’s unbelievable. They have the brass neck to boldly go through their life with ease and display it on the internet for all to see, then cry when there’s a backlash.

To anyone that comes to Charlie's channel in the hope of getting an answer to your question. I can tell you now that you won't ever receive a reply. All I and others can do is try to warn gullible and trusting people about Charlie. If people don't listen, then they'll have to find out the hard way.
What I don't get is that Charlie can make 30-minute uploads every other week, with never any sign of being in constant pain, but she chooses not to answer people's questions or concerns directly.
Having the type of channel that she has, she should inevitably expect to receive x amount of questions.
To the many of you that ask Charlie direct questions, I ask you to have a look at other people that have asked her questions, and you will find out that she never ever responds. She reckons she's always in "too much pain".
She honestly doesn't care at all; if she genuinely cared, then she would reply to you. She certainly has the time. The very least she could do is put up a disclaimer to say that she doesn't reply to personal questions and queries. It would save people a lot of time, and they would also know that they weren't simply being ignored on purpose. To simply not acknowledge anyone's messages speaks volumes about the kind of person she is.
Always remember this: if you're not asking her to help you with your PIP claim, well, she doesn't want to know.
    It's not 🚀 science.

She has 6 client forms to fill out a month. So all her time is probably taken up if she spends on average 15 hours to fill a PIP form out in between the times she is in pain.. She doesn’t have to show she’s in pain for a 30 minute video. There are channels on p CZcams that claim to help but are clearly scamming the system for all they can get. I do agree though that she should at least reply to the first few comments at least. No one can sit there and answer them all.

Some of her -- wait for it -- "clients" have stated that she does a no win no fee. I don't know if that was always the case? If this is true I can imagine more people would take the plunge.

She works for the dwp now. Do not give her any of your personal details you will find yourself under investigation

Any evidence to support that? You could say that about nearly all the people doing this sort of thing - tell anyone anything that may make them query the legitimacy of a claim and they could report it to the DWP.
That's why some people on PIP and LCWRA stop sharing so much of their personal life here on the Internet. They share something that doesn't make sense to people who know what they're claiming for, get defensive when someone queries it, and they get reported for it.
If you're investigated and you know you've told the honest truth with no exaggeration then nothing will happen in the majority of cases.
