    I have the GB Qbit LTE (not mentioned in this video) and it’s truly amazing! Its been through 3 kids, it fits behind the passenger seat right under the car seat so it’s ALWAYS handy when I need it, folds and unfolds with the click of a button, and super lightweight!

    Cybex Libelle is a great stroller for what it was designed for. I love that it’s so small so I can take it to the plane without any problems. It’s in my car all the time so when I need to go shopping it’s super convenient, light and very easy to open and close. I actually tested it also in the park and it managed really well. Obviously I wouldn’t take it for a very bumpy road, for that I have baby jogger city elite.

    I own the gb pocket and I love it specially when I had to travel by my self with my baby I was able to use it inside the plain fold it and put it under my seat. And even used it in a country with dirt roads and I will use it again with my next child ☺️

    Cool vid, and well funded critiques. As an owner of the gb pockit I do have to say it made a lot of things possible for us. We can go on a three week camping holiday with two kids in just a small car, I can strap it to the front of my bike and go to the zoo per bike with my baby and toddler, we were able to go on holiday by plane with only hand luggage. I've had it for 3 years now and it holds up pretty well.

    I’m just so glad I didn’t watch this before buying my Bugaboo Ant Stroller. We have it for 2 years now and we loved it.
    You need to REALLY use the ant to know how convenient and easy to use. We use it as a cart (we take out the seat and lay it flat so we can put stuff on top of it) if our baby is not using it and wants to walk around. When you get inside the plane, they will make you fold it “as a fake luggage” because you cannot put your baby on a stroller when boarding anyway so i really don’t see a problem with it folding like a fake suitcase/luggage.

    I have a cyber libelle for 1.5 years and it is good as new. I use it daily for commute (going up and down subways with a toddler and a compact stroller) and strolling at parks in New York. No loose screws and still sturdy.

    Very interesting video! Thanks for sharing. That being said, I've used the gb pockit for years and it's a sturdy little thing. Also the super compact fold helps with tiny domestic airlines. I definitely would skip the ant though based on this.

    For my needs my fave travel stroller (after researching and testing out quite a few) is the Redsbaby Skip. Why?
    Lightweight 6kg and neat small fold (chunkier than the yo-yo but smaller than the Minu) folded 27x45x50
    Great good size seat - deep enough with a slight incline so child doesn’t slip out, 48 cm backrest, FLAT recline and adjustable leg rest - since my child often falls asleep in her pram this gave her a long flat area to sleep on so this was important to me.
    Very sturdy and stable with accessible decent sized under basket.
    Narrow frame width 45cm (can go through any turnstile at train station)
    My child can get in and out easily by herself.
    Comes with shoulder strap and soft drawstring case/bag.
    Holds up to 20kg and my kiddo still fits in it at 4yrs old.
    I did try out others (Yo-yo, MB Nano, Sivercross, Minu, Joie Pact, Maxi Cosi) and more) in the store but I found many travel strollers had either shallow seats or the backrest in the upright position was too “laid back” for my child or else she would slide forward (without the harness on). Many of them have very short seat backs (40-43cm) and only a minimal recline.
    The only other one that fitted what I was looking for was an Easywalker but I liked the Skip better.
    Disclaimer- this was a few years ago.

  • @alansmithee3836
    @alansmithee3836 Před 3 lety +20

    We have a Silvercoss Jet and are more than happy with it. I get that most important thing for you is build quality, but I personally like the "fake suitcase" design and find it much more convenient than having to carry more on my shoulders/back when travelling. The compact strollers that you recommended in you other video are either way too expensive or too big to carry on on some airlines, so they aren't practical for what we want to use it for.

    • @janarosario4400
      @janarosario4400 Před 2 lety

      I am thinking to buy a Silvercoss Jet as well but I am concerned about the angle of the backrest. Does your child sit comfortably in it? My son constantly leans forward and holds onto the bar if the the backrest isn’t straight up. All lightweight pushchairs seems to have the backrest in odd angle. Thanks.

    • @danielwhang2332
      @danielwhang2332 Před 2 lety

      Another option is the Iglesina Quid as it has the handle to pull the stroller around as well as a side handle. The thing that kept me from the Jet was its cross bar in the back storage area that prevented you from placing a small bag into it. But with the Inglesina, it's open and so much more accessible.

      Thank you for saying this! I've watched so many reviews bashing this stroller for no reason. After a thorough research I bought it and I'm sooo pleased with it. It rides smooth, my baby is comfy in it and folding/unfolding can actually be done with one hand if you get the hang of it and go step by step in the correct order which mamy people simply don't! Sure there are things to improve but there isn't a perfect stroller to fit them all :)

    I was looking at the bugaboo. Too many steps for a compact, travel stroller. It has to make your getaway stroller and partner in crime life easy. Innovating this stroller way too complicated and costly just doesn’t make it an easy stroll down the park. My wife was looking at the GB. More joint aluminum frame connections and I can’t get pass the fold and especially that vertical...,bike bars lol!

    I’ve had an ant with my first child and at that time I hate this stroller because of really hard folding. When you are alone with your not-standing child in the airport control gate this was a real problem to fold it with two arms, I hadn’t any arms to carry my baby, it has awful. But turning back I can say, that this stroller was beautiful and eye-catching, people always asked me about it. For new born child it is cozy because of its small size and looks very nice. I’m a little bit upsad, that I sold it. Now for the second baby I’m going to buy yoyo, but ant will be good too, I just don’t want to repeat

    For some people all of these trade-offs are worth it though to be able to store a stroller in micro-appartments or small cars. In that case the point is entirely moot. Unless you have better design options to offer for the kind of prices the audience of these products is aiming.

Now as far as loading space… not too much… so when we go Disneyland we still take the nuna.. I have another friend that has the yo-yo and she loves it too. Currently watching your videos. my son is only 7 months but its on the 98% in everything. I want a lightweight travel stroller that can support his weight and a good seat with good height. I have looked at a lot of them but can't settle on one because they all have one or two flaws that can't be fix. The ant is a horrible design in my opinion and not worth the hustle.

    Bugaboo ant is a big regret buying. All the accessories have to be purchased separately. On top of that they stopped making most of the things. It's just a waste of money. My handle doesn't lock in properly when I adjust the height. Mechanism seems flimsy. Spent too much money on this rubbish. Now looking for a better one. I'm short so I bought it mainly because of rear and forward facing seat. Its small and the height adjust is perfect for my 5' petite self. Other then that it's rubbish

      @@BarnevognverkstedNo not always, you are permitted one item underneath the seat and one item in the overhead. @@viertelasiatmost people would disagree. You need your personal bag and snacks and goodies to be accessible under your seat within arms reach. Stroller up top bin. This makes sense for most people. Hiking around the mountains with a stroller on your back...also does not make sense.

    how much weight it can handle ?

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před rokem +1

      It varries a bit, but most strollers take 22 kg in the seat, and very few go as low as 15 kg. A 15 kg child is generally 4 years old, which means they're too big to fit in a lot of stroller seats anyway. So, in short, they all pretty much handle enough weight, but seat size is a more limiting factor. :

    Do not get Jet Stroller!! The chair on the stroller slants forward and once your child is out of diapers it is very uncomfortable because all the pressure is on their crotch. I reached out to this company to help solve this matter and they were not helpful at all. Do not get the stroller if you plan to use it eventually with a toddler.

    I'm not going to explain why rolling your stroller as a fake suitcase instead of rolling your stroller as a stroller is stupid.....well if u travel alone with a baby you will understand! I think to travel all of the strollers r good, not for 365 days to use n all of them ve guarantee if something brakes. it between on the price how much u r ready to spend n after all the travels u can always sell it for a good price! Most important is that u r as much comfortable on the travel with u r little one ;) so if u need to carry ur baby n u ve a backpack its is much easier to pull ur stroller us suitcase that to push it in front of u with one hand.
    n to Cybex Libelle...not all airplanes ve the same cabin luggage size. so it would be useful n cheaper for some flights if u can fold ur stroller like origami.
