    Please ALWAYS refer to the manufacturer's user guides for set up, use and functionality of these products!
    Specific to this video as well please make sure you unclip the adapters prior to loading the car seat in your car and always use as directed by the manufacturer!

    I’m pretty sure you can just clip the car seat on top of the newborn pack without folding it up. Yes, you still have to put down the canopy and put down the sides but you don’t need the pack all folded up if that makes sense.

      Came here to say this. You don’t need to remove the whole thing or fold it, just put down the canopy and side and the car seat fits.

      I wouldn’t want to lay my baby on something that has been touching the bottom of the car seat….

      I think you just need to apply some good pressure to all the steps you were having an issue with.

    This is exactly what I was looking for in terms of what using a car seat/adapter would actually be like and the fold with the infant pack, thank you so much!

    I know have the yoyo and it was a game changer. Now I can go alone in the metro, easily carrying up and down the stroller in the stairs without folding it (baby 7kg+stroller 7Kg is not heavy), plus once in the metro I fold down the handle and it only takes the place of one person...no excuses for not letting us enter when the metro is full (= all the time), specially on strikes times here in Paris. Is a game changer, go for it

    Minute 4:47 you have to take the car seat off using the white button, which you did eventually. I had the same shock last night after dropping 700 euro on this! 🤦🏻‍♂️

    I bought the bassinet instead of the newborn attachment. The bassinet uses different adapters than the car seat, so I keep 2 sets of adapters in the boot at all times, so I can decide which to use on the go. My baby is 5 months now and has already outgrown the bassinet - so I'm already moving on to the 6m+ setup soon.

    1. Thanks for the really useful video, it answered both questioned I had and questions I didn't even consider. Preparing for a baby is hectic and your videos has really helped so I can't thank you enough.
    2. I have three follow up questions I'd really appreciate if you could help with...
    A. which car seat is that you have there that works with the babyzen yoyo and will it work with baby zen 2?
    B. If I can get a baby car seat that fits the babyzen yoyo, can I just buy the 6 month + pack and use the baby car seat instead or the 0 month pack?
    C. Which other car seats are available that could work with the babyzen yoyo?
    Once again, thanks a bunch!

    Was looking for a video about the yoyo, which this is not (it's about the newborn pack). Thank you and have a nice day :)
    Also FWIW, we never used our newborn cot - baby always preferred to be in a sling and they're not too heavy in first 6 months.

      I also used a baby carrier but still took the yoyo with me for my diaperbag&stuff and to put the baby in while sitting in a café/restaurant (because eating&trinking is difficult with a baby in a carrier). Also I used it sometimes to stroll up and down at home for soothing

    Hey! I use de bassinet, and we discover the adaptors fold sideways. Doing that, you can fold properly the chair, otherwise they get in the way. I think it might be the same in those adaptors! Let me know if it help you.
    Thanks for the video!

    Another thing, I do not fold it! I carry baby and stroller under my arms haha Because, once you fold it, what do you do with baby that cannot still walk..? you carry it with you? This is heavy to carry. Our yoyo is new, this is why is hard to fold, but on day to day basis, I do not fold it. Maybe for the car trunk, yes, or train travels. Otherwise, not.

  • @atara352
    @atara352 Před rokem +2

    Seems like there is also a basinet you can buy. Is there any benefit to that or is it worth just sticking with the newborn pack

    • @dadsadvice
      @dadsadvice  Před rokem +1

      For us the newborn pack was very practical as it folds down and we can store it neatly. This is really practical if you want to take the stroller on a flight for example as it's a suitable size for hand luggage.
      The bassinet can't fold but you can unclip it and carry it, so this would be really beneficial if your baby is sleeping and you didn't want to wake them.

    We live in London too, why do you need a rain cover with the newborn pack?? It already covers the baby really well
    Also you’re putting the car seat on it wrong!
    Why are you folding the leg part before attaching the car seat??!
    Just detach on the sides and attach the car seat, duh!!

    You made eveything looking so complicated. I've been using this stroller for the last 6 months and the car seat seats on top of the newborn back if you don't fold the bottom bit.
    You can leave the carseat adaptors on the carseat itself and just click it in next time

    Hey, I just purchased yoyo2, Aqua, and the handle situation is pissing me off. I watched some videos and I heard click when it's fold down and I am wondering, is it a fault from factory or there are models without click sound and fixed handler?
    I am not sure what to do, return it or keep it as it is.
    Kind regards.

  • @mameorleans-lindsay6991

    Would you still get the Babyzen Yoyo with what you know now or you'd consider the Joolz Aer?

    • @dadsadvice
      @dadsadvice  Před rokem +1

      Hi there! Thanks for your question and I hope the video was useful for you! I personally haven't used the Julz Aer, having said that yes I would still get this stroller because it is very compact, light and very very easy to use. It also has a very nice high quality feel to it and our baby seems to really enjoy the comfort. I will be doing a follow up video on the best features of the BabyZen Yoyo soon! So stay tuned!
