People don’t consider that these guys continue to grow each year and most QB’s aren’t their absolute best until their final year. So DJ should be better from experience alone. The other factor is Mike Norvell and his ability to develop QB’s. Those 2 factors are why DJ is more likely to succeed at FSU, than not. Nothing is guaranteed of course.

He's got a lot of experience and talent. But it's already been proven that FSU backups need to be READY asap. The risk of injury is just too high. An older quarterback who is starting likely has a lot of wear-and-tear. Just one bad hit could end it. I hope FSU has plans for that this time.

DJU does all the right things and is a class act all the way through, but he just lacks the it factor
JJ McCarthy just won a national championship. Does he have the "IT factor"? What about Stetson Bennett, Did he have the IT factor? Take care of the football, 2-3 great plays in a game, and leadership can give you championship caliber qb. Of course the rest of team needs to be elite but were just talking about the qb.
@@psfsu you really just said Stetson didn’t have the It factor? JJ made plays when they mattered most and found a way to win, creating his It factor. DJU is inconsistent and inaccurate
@@runDATrun6 like I said there comes 2-3 moments every game where a qb needs to extend the drive/ make a big play in order to win. Stetson also had a 20:6 td to int ratio in 2022. DJ had a 21:7 td int ratio last season. There’s room for reasonable growth if you ask me
