What a great review! I totally understand when you say it's a tough one to describe, it is one that has a certain smell that you just have to try to know what it's all about!
Yes! I have found the same with "Dia" too which I think will be my next Amouage review. They just smell of "one thing" very difficult.

For your personnal tastes, among Beloved Woman, Epic Woman, Lyric Woman and Memoir Woman, which one do you prefer the most? which of them would be the second one? and the third one?
Thanks!!! Hmm if I had to put them in order it would be. 1. Memoir 2.Epic 3. Lyric 4. Beloved. HOWEVER, my best Amouage fragrance ever is OPUS IX. (9). Nothing has come close to that one since, the big jasmine, back pepper and Animalic one. It's truly dark and gorgeous.
You did a wonderful job on this review! It is a really though one to pick apart. I agree that it feels extremely French and vintage...I love that you referred to it as glamorous...it really is. I get complemented very often when I wear it. It really is beautiful and not what you would expect from Amouage! I have no evidence, but I believe this could be Amouages nod to Bal A Versailles. I knew I wanted it to be my next Amouage review because it's SO beautiful but it was kinda LOOMING over me and that's sad. haha. I hate it when a fragrance betters me lmao. Sometimes they are supposed to just be Beloved and not dissected. :) I love this one.
ouch110 Fragrance Reviews I’m glad you love it! I think it gets lost in the sea of “Arabic” scents that they release, and that makes me sad. I hope your review will encourage more people to try it. The opening is weird, but I find most openings to be a bit off putting, especially the first time bc you have no clue what’s coming lol.
Yes Amouage openings can be head scratchers but they are always worth the wait. I have SO many more Amouage samples I need to review. I think I will do Dia next. It's kinda a similar feeling to this one but a bit darker. The drydown? Wow.

I just received this is the mail today. I must admit I was so put off at first. First thought was Oh My Goodness I made a bad buy. However, I forgot I need to wait for the dry down. 😅 I can’t keep my hand away from nose it smells so good!!! It is difficult to describe as mentioned, but I am really enjoying this. Amouage has become one of my favorite houses for sure. This is my 4th fragrance from them. Looking to get my nose on Overture next.
They're really cool if you like opulence! I enjoy many of them for their complexity and that they aren't boring. :)
I love love love your videos!!! Please would you share where you get your samples from in the UK? I’m a bit skeptical about ordering from some places because I worry the samples aren’t genuine or they add a ton of alcohol to dilute it! Thank you xx
Thank you! Some of them I got directly through Amouage, but I also got some from a site called Notino. There is also a great sample site called Fragrance Samples Uk. They have Amouage there. :)

I was thinking only yesterday if amouage come up with a new fragrance that matches this season and has a pumpkin note it,, imagining how will it be !!!!!!!
Haha thanks. Oh yes I have tried Dia it's another beautiful one and I think it kinda feels a bit like this in terms of tone and character. I will review my sample eventually too! I try to do at least one Amouage a month. I'll make that one the next one. :)

Beloved Woman will be my fifth Amouage. I am a Guerlain devotee, but I have grown to love Amouage very much. How would you rate Beloved, Dia, Ciel, Ubar, and Jubilation 25 from most favourite to least favourite?
Do you plan to review the new Harrod's exclusive Overture Woman any time soon? The notes look wonderful, but with so few reviews, it would be a risky blind buy at full retail price.

Based off my two favorite perfumes (Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb and DKNY Be Delicious) which Amouage perfume do you recommend? Or any other perfume you recommend for my palette?
I would definitely start with their "love" line. Lilac Love, Blossom Love and also, Sunshine. :)

:( I don't have a sample I'm afraid. I think I used to but...I have NO idea where it's gone. It's not on my sample list. DAMN!
A powdery floral bouquet with slight animalic-leathery (myrrh, civet, castoreum?) incense (vanillin and frankincense) background. In the same category as Shalimar eu De Cologne (the leathery one) ? I feel that because of the nearly sickly sweet density of this perfume, the "Guerlinade accord," might be in this perfume? Here: perfumeshrine.blogspot.ca/2009/09/history-of-guerlinade-accord-original.html *Notes I get: ylang ylang is definitely the most prominent top floral note, I get a lot of powdery iris woody scent too (alpha/beta ion on). The violet floral seem more prominent than the rose/jasmine bouquet of florals. I also get a woody floral in there too...which might be a tiny amount of carrot seed e.o.? in combination with camomile and the ionones? Not certain :-( I get middle eastern resins in the background (likely benzoin, frankincense, myrrh and vanilla) probably some coumarin to add lift to the middle notes + I get some civet as well (the civet/vanilla/ jasmine combo a near urine/honey/deer musk scent)as well as numerous spices... perhaps nutmeg, anise, several others? Because of the cool, smooth oily fine grain wood texture (again very fine grain, not DRY like cedar or anything) of the scent I wouldn't be surprised if there was a small amount of sandalwood in here either. Like you said, this is a PERFUME perfume. SELF REFERENTIAL... its supposed to be a perfume - well balanced, and ***not representative of anything in nature.***Glamorous, French, 1920`S Yes!! All in all a very well balanced scent...I completely agree hard to pick out the motes for sure. :-) Were I forced to guess the central materials: bergamot, ylang ylang e.o., ylang ylang absolute, synthetic violet powders, frankincense, myrrh, rose, vanillin, sandalwood.
What is performance like? How are projection and sillage? I generally expect arm's length projection or better with Amouages. Is this one pretty close to skin and quiet??
This one is one of the softer ones from Amouage, but still with great longevity. Projection isn't a much as say myths or some of the opus line but with them? You're always gonna get good longevity. 6 hours upwards.

Many perfumes are long lasting. From Amouage. Memoir Woman, Opus IX, Epic and Opus 1. :)
And Interlude, too. Terribly long lasting.
