Another comment on this review 😅 if I had to choose one perfume from my 200 to keep - this would be it. It’s so elegant and soft, but still mysterious and head turning. I adore it so much! Whenever I wear this out I feel a bubble of soft, feminine mystique around me. It’s some kind of unexplainable magic here - and I love that it’s a hidden gem.

ouch110 Fragrance Reviews, yes the very first and only one on Dia, as of this moment. Dia doesn't fit any trend and doesn't have much marketing hook. Maybe that's why it hasn't caught much attention? Such a beauty. Thanks for bringing light to it!
Forever and ever Dia is in my Top 3 out of my 80 fragrances collection! Really beautiful , beautiful creation ! I own 3rd bottle already ( my latest one has the magnetic dop ) . I got like few hundered compliments in all theese years . And everybody loves this scents when I tell what I wear this day 😃😊.

Joanna van der Jagt it smells like those cheap perfumed soaps from the 80’s that old ladies have in their guest bathroom. I’d see them all the time. For real
I had a dia which was made in Oman. The new one I received today is made in UK. Is it the same? Which is the original one?

I have cyclamens, but the flowers don't smell at all. I googled it, and found out that there are more species, one is called "Cyclamen persicum grandiflorum odoratum", and that one has a similar smell to Lemon balm. Great job describing perfumes!
Thank you! There are so many flowers in this world to be discovered. It's always interesting to see a flower in a fragrance that doesn't have a smell. Cyclamen was voted as a prominent note in this fragrance so, it's a bit of a head scratcher.

I didn’t think I would like this so much! The aldehydic and “mature” descriptors had me a little worried. But I actually really like this! I think I might love it more than Gold!
Every time I look at an Amouage note pyramid , XD, I understand.
I haven't sampled the women's yet, but I will .
Dia Man has a wonderful vetiver note that runs throughout it.
Lightly floral, slight citrus , and like your description of Dia Women, masterfully blended . *SOTD* _TT's Ursa_

This one is a great Aldehyde one, they got the sparkle down SO well! I need to get it now haha. I have also tried lots of the men's but none sparked me enough to review, apart from Lyric man which I have done. :)
Hellirious how you corrected your self ! I love & respect this house very much . After trying & sampling most amouage man , i have decided to switch to the WOMAN line to get the complete feel of this fabulous house , thanks to you :) This will be next to try for sure . Just got interlude woman today & like for now & I am sure I will love it after few wears . Which amouage you wear the most from either line ? Thank you for this review . Take care !
Thanks!!! Oh interlude is one of the truly weird ones, I still have to review my sample of it. I think the womens line is WAY worth taking notice of. I've tried most of the men's ones which were also very cool but, I just prefer to pick apart and discover womens fragrances. Try out Memoir woman. Absolutely lovely!
Love your review as always 🥰 I have a tiny sample of Dia and its glorious. Would you say to go for Dia or Beloved if had to choose just one? I havent smelled Beloved but from your review I get the vibe that its a similar type as Dia🤗
I think you will like Beloved if you like Dia, beloved is more floral though and Dia is deeper. Dia is my preferred of the 2! :)
Oh yes I just discovered Amouage and I adore their perfumes but my favorite is and always will be Lilac Love. It is pure perfection in a perfume and I must buy a full size bottle soon. , I never wanna be without it.
It’s a year later and 100 Niche perfumes later, my tastes have changed and I really don’t like this one. It’s soapy, very soapy and yes it smells like the lil soaps my mom had in her bathroom when I was a child. It does calm down a bit. But I’d never buy it. I will use up my generous sample. And I am done with this one.

On the one hand, this sounds like something I would totally hate on my skin. On the other hand, it's apparently masterfully blended and very unique. I feel like I'm gonna end up trying it anyway.
You deffo have to like aldehydes and the more classic, but this has a lovely clean sparkle. I really want it!!! argh,
Nae G its EXTREMELY floral and soap. I have smelled this in those perfume soaps ppl like my Mom keep in their guest bathroom. It’s not my favorite.
He’s right, it’s best to wear for bed.
I know this video is 4yrs old but I just bought this perfume and Amouage Memoir, I blind buy mostly because it is more fun. Dia pronounced Dee-ah in Gaeilge (Irish) mean God. I trust Thomas's opinion because we seem to have very similar tastes.

cyclamens have faint scent, which is hard to describe, but it reminds me of smth rubbery (like white soles of sneakers), but in a humid floral way. what kind of flowers? smth like dandelions, if you know that smell. very nice review. i think DIA is very frenchy fragrance for classy lady, i see why it is bestseller, but it is not my favorite (yet) ;)
Oh wow really? How strange. I've never even seen one in real life haha. I can tell you that this doesn't have a rubbery smell at all.
Just go to the closest flowershop and smell it! :)), i am pretty sure they will have it (cyclamen is flower of winter/spring season)

Am I right that Jean-Claude Ellena is the perfumer of Dia? One of his early scents is First edt for Van Cleef & Arpels. If you try First, you'll see the family DNA.
YES! (Upon research) :) Oh yes I have tried "first", a neighbour of mine used to wear it. Astounding!
I can't say that the flower of a cyclamen has a smell. Perhaps it's the smell of the crushed leaves that are presented in this new fragrance.
It doens't? That's so strange that they would have it as a note. It would make sense that maybe it's the leaves??? cool!
This Dia is 99,99 percent from "Climat" by Lancome. I've been remember this fragrance since 1970

How do you compare Dia woman to Jubilation woman? Which do you love more?
I think I prefer Dia more as it's softer and fuzzier, Jubilation is a bit more golden. Both are great though!

This one is way too soapy floral for me. It smells just like those perfumes soaps ppl have in their guest bathrooms. I like it to wear to bed after a shower but not out. This one is my least favorite. It just smells too much like soap on me.
This smells like a fresh baby diaper or something that smells like a baby … it’s not offensive but gives me PTSD from my sleep deprived days as a mother
I have a lot of cyclamen at home and I have to say it smells quite similar! It has that sharp floral scent, a bit obnoxious, can give you a headache.. But a headache is so worth this fragrance haha! I personelly adore it! Also my thoughts about this one are EXACTLY how you described it. To me it smells very similar to Chanel no5 Eau Premiere
