  • This is a 15 minute tutorial on how to sew a tablerunner, you can use any kind of material you want, holiday or seasonal. 1/3 yard of one fabric, and 1/2 yard of second fabric, for just a few dollars you can have a cute seasonal decoration.

    It would be easier for you to cut these pieces if the fabric was folded with salvages lined up.

    This was literally my very first project as a new sewer and the 2 runners I made for my daughter came out great! She loved them! Very easy to follow and the contrast details make it extra special. Thank you. Will you put up more videos soon? I'd love to see some fun pillow designs with contrast ... hint hint!

    How can I make a runners like you did with out the points at the ends please.

    • @stonehousecrafts3779
      @stonehousecrafts3779  Před 3 lety

      You would have to sew around the entire runner while inside out. Just leave a couple inches in one corner so you can turn it right side out. Then stitch the unseen spot together

    I do not under you cut two double but different sizes would one be shorter than the other

    • @stonehousecrafts3779
      @stonehousecrafts3779  Před 4 lety

      Betty Macmillan not sure what your question is sorry. Your material is the same length. The width is 12 inches in one and 18 inches on the other width

    Are the two long side bindings (tan) different widths? Or am I seeing things?

    • @stonehousecrafts3779
      @stonehousecrafts3779  Před 4 lety

      Deanie Steelsmith you cut one piece of material 12 inches and the backing material is 18 inches

      @@michelec1962 I have made them twice as long. You just need to buy 2 continuous yards of each fabric. If you want it to drape over the ends of the table.

    No need to pull your fabric through when sewing that's what the feed dogs are for

      Looks like something is wrong with her machine because it runs so slow
