I just picked up a 1998 foreman 400 with winch & plow. It's amazing. I'm giving it a basic run through & got it new tires. Doesn't smoke or clatter it just runs. I'm impressed 👍👍
All honda small engines with a screw in dipstick your supposed to wipe the dipstick off and place in without screwing it down to get a correct reading.
Check with honda. Not changing it is why people keep overtighting it to stop oil leak. When I buy oil at filter at the Honda dealer the washer is taped to the filter box.
@donaldboley771 I replace mine about ever 3rd or 4th oil change and have a 2002 trx450 with going on 20,000 miles. Never one time have I experienced an oil leak nor have I ever over tighten my bolt. I'm not hating you if that's what you like to do but I'm just stating it is definitely not needed every oil change

I have 3 honda (1983) 3 wheelers and they still work, basic maintenance is what is the best, and they keep running.

Good vid, honda on top
You shouldn’t screw the dipstick in to check the level. Hust dip it. Overfilling causes leaks.
Oil that air filter, foam filter doesn't filter dust that well without oil.
With that many miles on it and you never adjusted the valves.
You need to change that drain plug washer with ever oil change.
You absolutely do not,

Don't screw in dip stick when checking oil
Not using wet clutch oil not good
