EXPOSING instagram models bodies in real life - Wolfie Cindy & Janice Joostema

- another day, another set of instagram vs reality images to remind you guys, that it's all smoke and mirrors. the influencers (in this case, Wolfie Cindy & Janice Joostema, two absolutely stunning instagram models) don't actually look like their instagram pictures all the time in reality, because instagram is FILLED with filtered, photoshopped, facetuned perfection. And whilst it may look beautiful online - that's not reality. Despite what Instagram and TikTok would have you believe, we dont all have the same long legs, tiny waist, big b00bs, huge butt and thigh gap. Even the influencer / instagram models themselves. And you know what, that's a GOOD THING! It would be so boring if we all looked the same. The beauty is in our differences. So lets stop editing ourselves, and start celebrating how gorgeous we are with our real bodies.
Love you guys! x - Jak na to + styl
I always giggle when Stephanie says "she looks slightly different here" when a person has facetuned themselves 2 sizes down 😄
i know! i think it's because apparently so many people come out of the woodwork defending these models in all the wrong ways, claiming "they actually look like that!!" and getting really nasty about it. I'm not really on any site to see this stuff myself but Stephanie has brought up their harassment before. Imagine NEEDING already gorgeous women to look like their false photoshopped images... Who does that even serve? If you wanna look like her then you should be happy she looks human and if you wanna date her you should be happy bc she's already drop dead gorgeous. Imo the shopped versions of these models look kinda wrong.
@@skybug1706What a long ass rant that has nothing to do with the comment. It’s about Stephanie being polite sounding when describing an extreme difference lol
@marzipan1 it wasn't a rant :( i was adding my own perspective and thoughts as a way to extend the dialogue (which is... one of the normal ways people comment..?). I truly have heard Stephanie talk about the backlash I mentioned. Why did you feel the need to respond to me so mean-spiritedly?
@@skybug1706Who is that super cute dog on your profile pic???🥺
@@alaska426 what a useless reply that adds nothing to the original nor the reply comment lmao
The fact that she left the "Getty Images" on the photo lets you know she *wants* you to think they're unedited. She knows exactly what she's doing, because otherwise she could have taken that watermark off. She wants you to think she naturally looks that way. It's sad really. Thank you for your videos Stephanie! It really helps keep us in touch with reality.
It's all lies!!! Thanks stephanie bringing this to light.
Good catch!
Not really. U have to pay for the watermark to be gone, u but it on Getty images. Or u could just screenshot it and have it with the watermark
@@gloriaagatha3237 It’s really easy to photoshop the watermark off. So if she can photoshop the other things (making herself skinnier, etc) she could photoshop the watermark away. The fact that she left it means she wants you to believe that the photos are unedited. Believe me, as someone who knows photoshop, it’s incredibly easy to take away the watermark.
I think what bothers me is that most guys think the ig models actually look like that
Find smarter men
Right-- even if we get it is not real, we are being compared to that by men :(
@@LydiaZ36Those are not men. Those are incels and virgins who've never been with a woman.
!!!!!!!!!!
Yup… pretty much! It really affects relationships
These videos make my self esteem better and more healthy. Thanks as always! ❤
That's sad
Same! I feel so much better about my body ❤
This is not cute like you that insecure ?
@@_.moilara._ very sad
@@_.moilara._I know, it’s sad that people photoshop their photos and set an unrealistic expectation which makes people feel worthless
Girl, when you stood up to show off your body, I literally cheered! You look amazing (and always have)! It's so sad that woman are too often ashamed of their bodies, especially after that body made another human! Thank you for promoting a healthy body-image & how reality and quirks are wonderful and fun & make us all unique!
Totally agree!! She really opens herself up to show us content, real talk.. And she DOES THE RESEARCH!!! She's too sweet and respectful to others content to say anything derogatory,.. Let's get real, they have 4 million, 5 million subscribers, and followers.. And those followers are their own ATM machine!!! She's too nice to say it out loud, BUT SOMEBODY SHOULD!!! most are selling fake pictures, so they can pay the rent on their gullible customers!!
Yes mom bods are tough when everyone hates on them. I’m in my 20’s and had my son a year ago and breastfed so i’m relearning to love my body. Hard when all you see are “perfect” bodies
"Being well fed is the goal" should be a T-shirt for this channel's merch ❤️🍛🥘🍝
Let’s stop promoting obesity America
❤️
I’m buying…
When does it release?!😀
Agreed.
Body dysmorphia on steroids 😂😂😂 with narcissism is what IG has become.
Honestly Fr it’s funny but sad at the same time.
Yep.
BODY DYSMORPHIA ON STERIODS WITH A SIDE OF NARCASSISM! Great comment. That's precisely what that is.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Getty Images be out there doing the Lord’s Work and exposing unattainable body goals built on surgery, filters, facetune and god knows what else these influencers are doing.
Stephanie as a long time follower who could be your mother, please continue to create this content , our young ladies in this world need to see reality!
New follower and father of two. Great discussion here. Love the ladies myself... but healthy please.
These videos have really helped me out for the past 2-3 years it shows that everyone has insecurities, and it's not us that need to change its society! I have started loving my body more, and these videos are a big part of that, so thank you ❤
I wish Instagram as well as the Kardashian’s would get cancelled. When will people realize this sh!t is not real and hurting society in every way possible?!?! Sad world we are living in all the way around!
My inner critic finally shut up while I watched this video. Thank you for highlighting body positivity
"A waist big enough to keep them alive..." 😂 exactly. This is how we should see our bodies. Your channel has healing qualities. Thank you for this content. ❤
Hey just wanted to thank you for your amazing Videos! I started Ed recovery back in may and things are getting harder these days. But your videos really do motivate me to choose recovery everyday because no body looks like those photos, so there's no need for me to try and fit into this unrealistic image. It doesn't even exist anyway. Thank you so much 💜
I send you a big hug. Please don't give up❤
I’m 1.5 yrs into recovery for an ED and there’s been a LOT of hard days but life is already so much better, bigger, and different than before. Keep pushing on the hard days, you got this!!
Sending so much strength! You got this! ❤

Some days, you may be slogging through all kinds of “stuff.” Just keep going; when you ask yourself “Why do I even _try?”_ remember that the answer will _always_ be “BECAUSE I’M WORTH IT.” ❤️🩹
My issue with these influencers is the peddling of slave labor produced fast fashion. That's truly ugly. Yuk.
Plus they are ecouraging single use fashion, clothes that don't last, made of polyester plastic, and end up in landfills. They are trashing the world they will be living in and dragging everyone with them.
My issue with them is their existence
@@Sssssssslf 😂
but how is it their problem..? theyre not the ones making factories in China that have existed for decades, its capitalism. Dollar Tree and stores like that are just filled with those products
@@straawberryfieldsforever They peddle it for money. They know it's exploitative. But we can disagree
I love your phrase “legs strong enough to carry them.” I am 6 months pregnant and have been learning to love my new body. Working out and eating right. But Instagram “body goals”do not come anywhere near the miracle of carrying a literal human! You are such an inspiration! Thank you 😊❤
I need these videos, they're helping me heal from a lifetime of insecurities. we all deserve to feel good in our bodies. 💗💗💗
Instagram is so toxic so I don't use it. if it just showed the friends I follow or things I actually want to see it would be fine, but it always likes to show me things that I don't want to see like all of the horrible things going on in the world or these weird fake ass thirsty wanna be influencers
I got rid of IG in 2020, and I don’t miss it at ALL!
It has become a place for bitter people to form mobs with other racists, godless ones, misogynists and men haters alike - each in their own camp (reminds me of hunger games). They don't care about the amount of broken hearts and bad mood their mode of entertainment produces.
@@loricawley54 me too!! Free ❤🎉
I just don't follow influencers. Social media is all about who you follow. If you get toxic stuff, you're following the wrong people.
Just don't use the 'explore' page and curate your own feed, it's not that hard? Instagram does not show you people you are not following unless you look them up.
I would never want to have those curated photos all the time, cause I would have anxiety that every person I meet in person would be shocked at the difference.
I wish more people would realize that doing the most to try to look "attractive" is the least attractive thing you can do! There is so much quiet confidence in just being your authentic/unedited self💕 I also don't post on social media for the same reason it truly looks exhausting and probably feeds people's insecurities so much more😥
I love your videos so much, I newly turned 15 and i feel so horrible about myself because i see so many beautiful girls and it makes me feel so unlucky 😭 your videos make me feel alot better, tysm!
just stay off of social media it is all fake
@@AmyB369exactly
Remember: if you were to do what they do you would look as beautiful as them. You can also pose certain way, use filters... If you can afford it, you can also do surgeries, skin care game, etc. My point is: don't compare your natural self to these things.
Say it's genetics, well if your parents were as "hot" as whoever you deem beautiful you would also be 'beautiful'. Instead of fighting to be like these IG celebs, fight to accept your unique beautiful self.
Reminder that you're still growing! I hadn't grown into my features when I was 15 yet so I looked a little awkward. Give yourself time to become the wonderful person I'm sure you are destined to be!
tysm everyone i really do appreciate the advice and kind words! 💗
The body suit is killing meee lmao 🤣 you keep me grounded dude!
im too lazy to even do it up cos i know i'll need to pee in 5 mins and have to undo it again!
@@stephanielange as I age, I consider comfort over cuteness, so I'd let those flaps fly too!
What really plays with my mind is the fact that editing became much more subtle than it was years ago. There’s not botched editing anymore, and the tiny tweaks are done in a way that still preserves a somewhat realistic body. So it gets really really hard to know what is in fact real.
We should never compare ourselves to the instagram models because at the end of the day their own bodies are not picture perfect.
Women before the internet era were more confident about themselves cos they didnt compare themselves to these endless archives of photoshoped bodies and faces.
Can't begin to explain how grounding and reassuring your videos are! Ever since discovering your channel, my self love and appreciation for my body have skyrocketed. Thank you endlessly x
For a long time, I thought I was a genetic outlier with my waist, hips and bottom of my ribs being roughly the same width. But the hourglass waist that everyone seems to have is not common. Thanks for making me feel better steph
Great positivity on your part. It is great that you are pointing out how lovely the girls are without the photoshopping and filters. Usually people point out how they are being disingenuous and never bother to consider why they might feel the need to do that. Nor do they acknowledge the girls are pretty on their own.
Thanks Stephanie! You're such a realist! You look amazing, so does Cindy and the Instagram models without the editing. ❤
Been feeling so badly about myself lately. Thanks for the reminders Steph
I need your weekly reminders of what real, beautiful women actually look like!
Look in the mirror, you are special❤
Just go outside?
@@maverickbull1909I have to agree lol
I love this!! I love how your uplifting every body shape and have genuine nice things to say. It makes me feel less alone and like maybe my body has some good qualities too 🥹
Thank you Stephanie for always unveiling the facade and helping us all see more clearly 😘
These videos are the splash of cold water onto the face of social media model delusion. Thank you for continuing to highlight this lunacy.
I loveee your videos I wait for them patiently and it brights up my day every time you upload queen👑
But can we boost these videos to MEN. They *really* need to see this.
Love these videos.
Thank you Stephanie for everything that you do! You are healing our perception that has been so badly destroyed from such a young age! Where were you when we were 13 🙃🙏🙂🌻💛✨
Thankyou thankyou thankyou! It's so healthy to be reminded that these pictures of women looking perfect are fabricated. I love the overlay that you did! Really shows how small changes to a picture can make such a difference.
Thank you soo much for posting this video. For the longest time I used to think that there is something wrong with my body. I love how they look un-edited
You saying “smoke and mirrors” in your accent might be my favorite thing ever 🥰🥰
I’m one of the million that follow Janice and I’m serious when I say if you had only shown me her unedited photos, I would have had to ask myself if that’s her or someone that just looks like her. She’s not editing herself to look 3 sizes smaller or anything dramatic like that, but her face looks so curated in her posts that her un-curated pictures look like…idk, a normal person? To the point where for me, it might be unrecognizable. I’m 35 and I somehow still REGULARLY forget that everything I ever see is edited, sometimes to the extreme. I really appreciate your videos because of this.
I LOVE YOU thank you so much, you don’t understand how it’s effects us young women when we scroll through instagram and think that we are THE worst version of a beautiful women , when we are the meaning of beauty
I get so excited when I see your new uploads!!💕
This world has successfully made me not only destroy my appearance but hate how I look to the point I don’t want to go out anymore. I can’t keep up and its made life uncomfortable and unhappy. Had I lived in a world where women didn’t have to be young and beautiful to be worth something, obviously I would have a much better outlook
Love the quick flash back and forth between Instagram and reality--great demonstration of what to look for with retouching! More videos like this please.
I love that you always keep it real. Thank you
Usually I agree with you but Wolf Cindy looks exactly the same lmao
Thanks so much for making these videos!! You’re helping women all around the world ♥️
I'm grateful that you post these videos! I have horrible self-esteem, I'm 58, and have never felt good about myself.
❤
Always a relief to see these videos
Thank you Stephanie! Your videos are great and helping women all over the world to feel better about themselves. I’m wondering if you can do a video with older women who make themselves look younger with filters and such, and showing how they really look?
Aging is a major thing for a lot of women, and we all should be ok with aging naturally.
I always find your videos so interesting. I don't have Instagram so I'm (luckily, I've come to realise) pretty disconnected from this kind of thing. It's sad that so many women feel the need to accommodate beauty standards that want to keep women small and fragile, and at the same time want them to have curves for the sole purpose of looking sexy to others. I'm 26 and only in the past one or two years I've genuinely learned to love my body as is. I used to dress in the morning choosing what would make me look like I had more curves and an hourglass figure, when in reality I'm skinny and have narrow hips. Now I dress with the purpose of expressing myself and having fun with clothes rather than thinking of what might make me look "ideal" to everybody else.
Thank you so much for these videos. Your videos have become a healthy Coping skill for me. If I'm feeling not so great about myself and wishing I could afford cosmetic surgery, I immediately watch (or re-watch) your videos ❤
I hope you know how much you are helping people with these videos, thank you
Instagram these days is kind of a place where self esteem goes to die. 😂...😔and so true. This is why women are also so damned disappointed with buying these dresses & outfits (that are obviously unrealistic to wear IRL). They think it's their bodies and not that the outfit is grossly misrepresented by the influencer / celeb wearing and promoting it. It's maddening.
Stephanie, thanks for your content, it’s so important to have you talk about these things out loud🙏🙏🙏
Another reminder that 'Social Media is FAKE'. Thanks for this video Stephanie. Keep it up. Luv yah😘🤗
Of course we want a part two! I love your videos!
I wish I had your videos when I was in my teens and early 20s- so important to remember that these celebrities have normal bodies and that normal bodies are BEAUTIFUL ❤
Stephanie !! Thank you! 🥰 and haha I have to tuck my body suits in to my pants instead of butting…. So uncomfy for many reasons but mostly because I’ve gained weight after hysterectomy. Thank you for keeping it real 🎉
Hi Stephanie! I've been missing your videos! I really appreciate your videos. I feel normal and happy when I watch them because you share reality with us. I'm a mother of 5. I do miss my flat stomach before I had children but watching your videos reminds me to not be ashamed of what I have now. I've been working out and eating healthier now for 4 + years. My goal is to have nice abs again naturally.
I DEFINITELY WANT A PART 2.!!! To me, the fact that young are following them is heartbreaking, also DAMAGING!!!
These videos are so important. Thank you!
Thank you for these videos ❤ you look stunning btw!!!
I think these videos should all be on the fyp of all men. So they don’t expect us to look like the edited versions of a woman.
Love u Stephanie! You honestly do so much for my mindset 💕💕🩷💖🩷💖
Keep up the good work Stephanie , your helping young girls realize ALL bodies are beautiful ❤❤
MORE MORE MORE!!! You can never do enough of these🥰🥰🥰
Love you, Stephanie!!! Thank you for letting women know what “reality” really is and that “nobody” is perfect!! ❤❤
Oooh i love this video! You are saving the world one video at a time! 💯
Part 2 please. Your work is so important. Should be taught in schools, young girls need the truth 🩷💙💜
Love your videos! You're awesome as always. Lets do a part 2 😂❤
Steph, as an older more mature woman, I have to say how proud I am of you posting these realistic photos of women who the younger generations look up to, they should be looking up to You instead. It’s a Sad Truth of Life and what these influences are doing to make themselves look IG worthy, something that annoys me is when on CZcams, people will just use a letter or a photo of an animal as their profile photo, I don’t get that, for me, I wouldn’t trust that person at all, my profile photo is the Real Me @63 years old and I’m not ashamed of who I am. Hope you’re loving being back in Australia 🇦🇺, would love for you to do a video on how you feel about being back and the changes you’ve made being here. Cheers from Queensland ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don't even have an Instagram account.....now i know why!
Thanks for your videos Steph 😊
“Well fed???” I’ll show them what well fed looks like 😂😂😂😂 Ridiculous! She looks incredible and healthy!
Your videos keep me grounded in reality and help my self-esteem. I so appreciate your content and commitment to truth that you taper with compassion. I am embracing the way God made me and focused on being healthy and nourished. You’re a beauty inside and out and remind us all that we are too!
What’s not talked about enough as well is the airbrushing of their skin on their bodies. All legs have texture. Some (most) have cellulite but it’s not just that, it’s the texture in general of body skin. They’re only allowed freckles on their face across their nose and cheeks but not one mole or freckles or scar or pimple or pick mark or mosquito bite or anything anywhere on their bodies… it’s so strange. And we are meant to believe people walk around looking photoshopped. NO ONE does.
Watching your videos help me so much, thank you for the amazing content
I’ve always been a little self conscious about my body and I’m tired of it so I’m getting a new wardrobe (the one I have is several years old any way) and that’s because of you and the videos you make so thank you
Thank you as always for your videos ❤
I love your videos Stephanie, you are always positive about all body types. Lots of love from florida 🌴
I always want more videos like this! They help bring my head down outta the clouds to see reality 😅
Thank you for doing these videos! ❤
I would love a part 2. These videos are so important and well done Stephanie. The world is full of fakery and you break through it all with kindness and respect 🙌 ❤
I'm 42 seconds in. You, my darling Stephanie Lange, have my eternal devotion! Sitting there, looking like a tasty snack, to jumping up and flashing your undone body suit flaps. 😂😂 Absolute pure gold. Some brilliant bird said it, but I think it goes 'love ya guts'. 😊❤
Ahhhh love ya 😄❤️❤️❤️
thanks for daily reassurance queen!
Great video and I would like a part 2 :)
I would also like to add that I honestly want more videos on Isabelle Mathers. Sometimes I feel like she looks a little different from before and now (the face).
i think the reason why those people post hateful comments is because those influencers make them feel insecure with perfect insta photos so the moment they see imperfection they have to say it because that makes them feel better that she is not as perfect
someone recently made a comment saying that the reason why jisoo is so popular is because she isnt a beauty queen and she is normal. so people follow her because they can relate to. And i thought thats a great thought actually.
Literally never heard of these people. Not sure why influencers think theyre celebrities. Thanks for a fab video though Steph! ❤
thank you for your work, doing amazing things for all girls out there
When you were showing these pictures, it suddenly hit me: when we edit photos to make our waist, legs, rip cage look smaller, our head looks bigger in comparison to the rest of the body. And this reminds more of a child's body, not the body of an adult person.
Amazing video. ✨️ Keep up the good work! Girls and women really need to see that perfection doesn't exist and Instagram is a LIE!. Thank you 👏🏾
I've been battling an ED for two and a half decades. I'm on a new medication for a severe mental illness that is saving my mind from a psychotic episode, which has saved me from awful paranoia and hallucinations,
but is causing me to gain weight.
I won't be on it for more than a few more weeks, but I'm terrified, crashing and absolutely miserable because of it.
The first thing I thought to do tonight when my head began to drop was seek out your channel.
Thank you so much for providing a place that feels comforting, grounding, and humanizing when I'm in this kind of place.
Yes please part 2!!
Thank you for continuing exposing/revealing the truth. Everyone looks ordinary and nornal after all it's all angles and photoshop lots of the time. Cindy is very lucky tho to be able to gain weight and still be a model cuz most models must maintain a size 0 nowadays and basically restrict food 24/7...
we just need more legislature that requires a watermark on edits!
Yessss plz do more of these types of videos
this is so irrelevant but i love the sound of the magpies in the background of your videos. 🥰 i grew up in aus & it's such a beautiful sound i miss now living in eng
Sometimes im thinking „This is wrong, it affects women’s self esteem and blah“ then I think that these girls are just playing the game
Sat in my very comfy, not that stylish, pj's watching this and I just don't care 😊.
I would hate being in the situation of having to photoshop every pic of myself before uploading to a platform. I reckon I would become so insecure and, quite possibly, develop some kind of "self loathing".
Thank goodness I'm boring and average.
I would like long videos fr. I love your videos 😭
