I’ll never understand why people say “Overrated”. He played 20 years doing something he loved and got acknowledged for it by rightfully being inducted into the HoF.

As a Jays fan, I hated this guy. But definitely worthy of the HOF, and my congrats to him.

Nah don’t buy it-if your job is to vote for players deserving to be in the hall of fame,then that’s a pretty high honor.
You should take it seriously and select the players who qualify.
No one who knows Baseball would say Jeter did not deserve it so every writer should have put him on the ballot without a second thought.
Just because writers years ago ridiculously did not put the all time greats in easily doesn’t mean today’s writers should make that same mistake.
