This is my first time setting a video as a premiere. I was curious as to how that works and what will happen.
Fantastic! Thank you for what you do.
How do cook the ribs? Crockpot, smoker?
I’m sure it’s beneficial for some. When I see it, takes a few seconds to realize it’s not a video but an announcement for upcoming video. This is disappointing for me cause I wanna see it now. 😂
I know, patience, right? 😂
Mitch , I had my bi annual physical this morning !! I am a 64 yr. old widower of two years standing. I started carnivore by finding you on March 11 th 2024 . I was weighed in a paper gown and I am down 52, pounds and my Blood pressure was near perfect !!! 1st time in many years!! I told my Dr. what I was doing and he said keep doing what your doing it works for you. My blood labs were good too! Dr. said if this continues he will take away the blood pressure pill. This is the first time a Dr. congratulated me,
May the GOOD God bless and protect you , I really think you and the message has saved my life.
Burn more coal , Pump more oil ,Eat more meat. Smoke em if you got em !!
What are great compliment, thanks so much
Such a great comment!
One of my favourite things about carnivore is how little time it takes to shop and prepare food.
I agree with you completely
I’m perimenopausal and when the hot flashes hit, I plan to move into Sam’s walk in fridges. 😂
OMG I love aldi! Their vacuum sealed ribeyes r amazing and only 11.49 a lbs where I live😊
I've never tried them I'll have to take a look
I must admit I get a little anxious when the pork rind supply is a little low in my pantry. Check those big containers at Sam’s as I have had to return some when the seal under the top was not sealed and the rind powder got thru the top and made a mess in my car. And I am that person at my ALDI as well.
I’m a big fan of Aldi as well. The pork rinds and ground beef are a mainstay in my house. Thanks for the ride along, Mitch.
You bet!
Love bulk stores. I usually buy the full roasts and cut the steaks. Last time I went to costco I spent 228.00 and got a full eye of round roast @ 15 steaks, tritip pack @26 steaks and nystrip roast @ 19 steaks. I'm set for a couple of months and my dog gets the scraps.
👍
Thanks for the video! Just an FYI, ALDIs ground beef has added natural flavoring unless it says 100% ground beef. Check the label on the bottom. Not terrible but not necessary in my opinion.
Thanks for the tip!
Mitch, have you ever considered buying a chuck roll from Sam's Club? A box can be 70lbs, and when sliced up, they can make a good steak, a poor man's prime rib, some have said. The price is usually under $6 a pound and, if on sale, can be less than $4.50. You do need to do the work of cutting the chuck and have enough freezer space, I can understand it isn't for everyone.
I've been threatening to learn how to do that
Thanks Mitch for your ground beef, bacon and scrambled egg mixture. I made it for supper and it was delicious! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I made this last night too. Lol. It was so good!
I finished eating my frittata last night! Definitely making this at least once a week! Need to order the non-stick pan you have on your site. I swear, it was better as a left-over! Now back to your trip…..
Hello everyone 🎉
We're getting an Aldi's in our town. It will be a month before we can get in there. The town has been so deprived.
Thanks, this was fun.
When I researched Sam's for what items were best for Carnivore I came up with the same bacon and pork rinds. I normally buy the white eggs but I didn't realize the brown eggs were priced like that. I will have to switch to the brown. Have to try Aldi's Clancy Rinds. Makes me feel reassured that I am buying the same things you do.
I flattered that you have that confidence in me, thank you
Enjoyed. We need Sam’s Club in Sydney. Aussie Bob 😊
I found pork rinds with just salt at the Dollar tree. Brim’s brand and they’re really good.
Thank you, we can't have too many different sources of good pork rinds
Pork Rinds from Aldi - great tip.
Loving all your content. Thanks Mitch! ❤
My pleasure!
I LOVE pork rinds. And they are so versatile-you can use them for so many different things besides just munching on them. But I agree with you - you have to be so careful with which ones you get.
I agree, the ones I get are one ingredient, no seed oils
Awesome I Love to see your Grocery hauls!!! Thank you very very much for sharing!!!🎉❤️🎉💪🥩🥓🥚🧈✝️🙏❤️
My pleasure
Mitch, I can totally relate to you when you were in that egg room freezing your ass off! I can at least stay in there for a few minutes before I have to run out and warm up lol that’s probably due to my lighter weight these days. Another testament to the carnivore diet.
Yeah mark, the Samsung employees are all dressed up like Eskimos in there
We shop at Aldi's, Sam's Club, BJ's, and Costco for Carnivore deals too! Love all your videos! We're retired so we're off everyday eating meat. 😄😄
So it’s worth the cost of 3 memberships, do you save that much or is it the access to more meat?
Yes, and among other supplies we use. We mostly go to BJ's and Sam's Club.
I have a membership to both Costco and BJs. Having both is worth it to me. One store has what the other one doesn't. I can usually find a deal where the membership fees end up being greatly reduced.
Totally agree that it's worth the save. 😊
@@monksoup669 Yes, plus, they have cheap fuel /gas
That’s how I shop, get what I need and pay. Wish I could find nice steaks at my store🤷♀️
Now I know why all my Pork Rinds gone! Lol! Great Premiere!
Wow ! What great Energy u r
Oh no!
Just discovered your channel. Awesome!! Keep up the good work.
Welcome aboard!
Good to see your video. Good to see you shopping at the store that’s what I need to do. Maybe tomorrow when I get home I was gonna say the pork rinds they have the pickle pork rinds here they still don’t have any fat or any carbs and they’re really good, not so blah I didn’t say blah blah blah that many times I don’t know what’s wrong with my phone. I don’t know how to work it right I guess sorry about that.i Enjoyed your video.❤
We don't have a Sam's club in my town. The closest one is maybe 40 miles away. Seems like they may be a bit cheaper than Costco. I kept hoping you would tell us how much that big jar of pork rinds was. I'm in Cali and I'd love to know if the pastured eggs are 4.50 for 18 like at your Sam's club. What a steal. At our Costco they are 8.49 for 18! Awesome price at 4.50.
I found Sam's to be a little less expensive on some items
I stock up at Sam’s weekly, love the Wrights bacon.
The best
Hey mitch thank you for the pork grimes info i realy apreciated!🧂🥩🍳🥓 reapeat!!!!
Everybody in my house love you sir. Thank you changing our lifes 200 days carnivore and never looking back🏃♂️
That's really great to hear
Beautiful morning sky!
Looking forward to it Mitch Eagle Eating my raw cooked hamburger bacon and egg yolks just can't seem to start that frittata in fact I don't even know if I ever ate hamburger on side of eggs and bacon. I am sure it's because I always ate a hamburger with all the trimmings what a difference a carnivore makes. Eagle p S I'm way up north in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan going to be 77 carnivore over 7 months
A burger with bacon and a fried egg on top is pretty good
👍
And now that I made your frittata, I am ruined!😂 I am going to have to overstock myself with eggs, bacon, and ground beef so I can always be ready when the mood hits me. I just finished the second half of the first one I made and it was an amazing meal for the second time. Thanks for sharing your culinary expertise with us Mitch.❤
Sometimes I think it's more like culinary luck, mark
thank you Mitch!! I truly look forward to your daily uploads!! Always reminds me to stay on track. 25 down in 3 weeks carnivore OMAD
So far so good
Thanks, Mitch! Once again, you've given me some helpful tidbits. Smoked salmon on pork rinds. I used to eat it on bagels, and I was trying to come up with something better since I've given up carbs. I tried it sliced with just cream cheese but that was a little messy. Ha! I'll check out the Aldi's in my town and try their brand of pork rinds. I've been eating carnivore for a little more than a month and still have much to learn. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise.
It's my pleasure, enjoy the salmon
I'm enjoying watching you. Sub'd.
I've been watching. The Carb Addiction Dr
And Ken Berry for several years
Watching you is refreshing
I'm 75 I work out I love walking and deciding on moving from keto to carnivore. You are helping me
My husband 86😳. Has ALL the poison in the house. It ain't easy baby.. as they say. But I'm dodging him and friends who have no respect for my choices
Thank you for sharing this with me 💜
Our Aldi in Australia does not have any pork rinds. Can't buy them. Need to make my own I guess..
Did I see EGGS in your FREEZER😳
Take a jacket or sweater. Colder in summer. Read the label on that jar.
I consider that walk into the cooler as a cold plunge.... LOL
Thats some shopping haul! 😊❤
Hello There, is Tuesday the best day to shop for discounts Thank You 🥰
Any morning from Tuesday to Friday
Thank you, Mitch!
I am learning. Slowly, but surely.
Excellent!
This was great Mitch! Love to see you shopping in an almost empty store!
I love shopping in Big Empty stores
Hey Mitch! Love watching you shop. Wish I was a morning person so I could grab those meat deals, lol. I’m wondering if you’ve ever considered getting a chuck roll at Costco or Sam’s? They’re less than $5 per pound, and weigh about 27-30 lbs. You cut your own chuck roasts, chuck eye steaks, Denver steaks, and then grind up what’s left to make a ton of ground beef. I was just watching a video at the Butcher Wizard channel where he shows how to cut one up and what you get from it. He made the video just for carnivores who want to save money on meat. It’s a little too ambitious for me, but I thought of you since you have good knives, a meat grinder, and a vacuum sealer. Thanks as always for the encouragement. I’m still trying to be a carnivore while living with my carb addict husband. It’s a challenge for sure. 😅
I have considered getting a chuck roll, but I would have to learn how to butcher it first
That’s why I mentioned the Butcher Wizard channel. He butchers one step by step. He said he was making the video for carnivores. Looks pretty easy. 😊
❤beautiful video!!! Those ribeyes are beautiful I love pork rinds from ALDIs also
Your fun😂 lol headed toward the meat🎉
Love going shopping with you, Mitch !
I tried your Frittata last night, but I did add a few ingredients extra and my husband really liked it. I had it for my breakfast this morning and still have a fourth left and will probably eat it tomorrow.
That's great, Linda
Great video!
Mitch…truly enjoy your shopping trips. Thanks for taking us!
My pleasure!
I was at Sam’s Club yesterday morning. I bought a package of those thick cut rib eyes but mine weren’t on sale. I did pick up a package of 2 thick cut T-bone steaks on mark down. I don’t know much about t-bones but they seemed worth a try. I also bought a couple of packages of NZ lamb chops at less that $6/lb which I thought was a good price. They’re really for my husband. He loves lamb but I can take it or leave it. Anyway, I enjoy watching you shop and you made me laugh, duking it out with the robot. 😄
Nice score on the ribeyes! I don't think there's an Aldi in Alaska, darn!
Maybe there should be, Jonathan
Another good video, Mitch!
Between Costco, Sam's, and Aldi there is certainly a good supply and variety for the Carnivore folk. Question: What days do you find to be best for scoring reduced-price meats at Sam's? I'm thinking maybe Thursdays or early Fridays.
Are you aware of a set # of days that must pass before the regular prices are automatically reduced?
Like you said the other day it makes sense that, due to the large sales volume over the weekends, early in the week wouldn't be best for scoring some really good prices.
Tuesday through Friday are the best days and they mark them down when they're 3 days from their use by date
I used to never look at supermarket flyers, but now I am always on the hunt for deals on whole primals, steak, roasts, brisket, lamb, ground beef, ground veal and ground lamb. Keep the freezer stocked!
Maybe I need to start looking at those things too
Love going shopping with you
Thanks for the ride 🌞
My pleasure
What a coincidence! That’s the 2 stores that I went to this morning.
👋 Would you consider eating cheese crisps from Aldi’s. It’s in the snack section where the pork rinds are located. They are keto friendly and the ingredient is just cheese. I find these cheese crisps to be tasty 😋
I don't think so, but I haven't seen the ingredients
I eat them, they are very good clean ingredients 😋
I just bought some Parm Crisps at Sam’s. So yummy. I use them like croutons.
Make (PR )sure they don’t have added seed vegetables oil but rendered in lard.
Great vid!❤
Thank you! 😁
Well Mitch, what happens 1st is I'm getting curious. Keep you posted..
I know that during a premier, the live chat is available. I'll be hanging out there for any questions. Kind of like an almost livestream ...LOL
Morning Mitch 😊
U taught me about discount meat & pasteurized eggs at Sam's. I switched to Sam's from Costco .
Thank you for the information!!.
Any time!
Mitch did you ever in your life dream of making a shopping video on the internet 😊
Not in my wildest dreams ... LOL
I love salmon salad with pork rinds to dip in it.
Perfect
I have an Aldi near me… I wish you would read the ingredients in the bacon and Pork rinds.,. I don’t buy bacon but some people have said you have to be careful because it could have sugar.
The pork rinds have nothing bad in them, and most bacon is sugar cured, but very little sugar is actually in the bacon. Look for zero carbs per serving on the label
@@OldGuyCarnivore thank you… I love ❤️ your videos
Thanks Mitch!
You bet!
When taking my cart back if I see someone headed to the carts, I always roll the cart their way and wave…..
Because I can……..
That's very nice of you
@@OldGuyCarnivore and……. It’s Free🤷……God bless you and keep your videos coming👍🏼
Hey Mitch, Thanks for taking us on the shopping tour. The employees don't tell you not to film?
Never had anybody tell me not to film of course the stores are empty when I go in
My Aldi in Uk doesn’t sell good pork rinds, just some small bags with msg in.
That's too bad, the Clancy's are very good with only 1 ingredient
@@OldGuyCarnivore yeh, you are lucky getting them. The ones online have dextrose, some have yeast extract.
Pork rinds I love, but you have to watch the ingredients. It’s so sad that we have to read labels on everything we buy in the food industry.
The pork rinds I buy only have one ingredient, pork skins
Got those good deals on ribeyes today at Sam’s too! You must go thru a lot of pork rinds 🤣
Not too much, but I like to have them on hand
Premiers are nice - no ads durning the show.
I never ever turn on Mid roll ads
@@OldGuyCarnivore sorry I missed that. No, you don’t. Thanks.
Take the rest of the day off Mitch. 😁. We eat much the same foods and shop at the same stores but the other side of our country. Gosh I wonder why.
Probably because you've got this thing figured out
Hey, Mitch, nice haul. Have you tried the Aqua Pur Italian Sparkling water from Aldi? It’s almost as good as S Pellegrino… used to be 40% cheaper but now they closed the gap to just 20% cheaper, lol…but convenient in 6 packs. I also have found I love Aldi ribeye… better than any other store… they were just on sale for $11.99 from
$13.99 so I stocked up… take care!
I've looked for that but they've always been out of it
How much pork rinds do you allow yourself to eat in a day? I love pork rinds but I think I overeat them. Love your channel…thanks for sharing….
Just eat them with your meals, not as a snack. There's nothing in them other than protein and fat
Mitch.. I'm curious on your ground beef when cooking it how do you try to retain the fast without losing most of it during cooking? It do you eat it raw? Best, Duane
I usually pour some of the fat from the frying pan back onto the ground beef
I'm shocked at how many disabled parking spaces there are at Sams club!😲...I bet it increases yearly. Sign of the times😏
Sadly, you are correct
1. The camera makes your left arm look 5 feet long while driving 😂
2. Have you always lived in Florida?
3. Why no palm trees?
The 360-degree camera will distort anything out near the edges. There are palm trees all over the place
👍
Curious about how much the jar of pork rinds at Sam's? I get mine at Aldi too.
About 7 bucks
If u have a meijers around you they have really good meat sales😊
I'll have to look and see
For your knowledge I’ll say, for your test, I got a lot more advertisements for this premier than usual.
Why am I not surprised.... LOL
Sadly it’s impossible to get Pork rinds without crap in it . Even in our Aldi here. It’s ridiculous . No need for comment Mitch. In Australia.
I get completely dizzy from this panoramic mode.
Ok
Love my pork rinds.
Do you make your own pork rind crumbs too or just eat them?
Occasionally I make them from the leftover crumbs in those big jars
Curious Mitch, why do you buy 2 different pork rinds?
Aldi's is sometimes out of them, so I bought one jug at Sam's just in case
Look out for the red stickers at Aldi in the meat department. I get most of my meat 50% frok Aldi
That's a good tip
Do you ever grill your steaks on an outside gas or charcoal grill?
I just did that last week
@@OldGuyCarnivore That's cool. I dont think electric grills deliver as good a flavor as gas or charcoal grills
I prefer pork belly instead of bacon...have you tried it?
Yes I have, I like it as well
Im glad u eat the crapy plain pork rinds and leave the hot and spicy for me.
why get pork rinds from both places?
I got the one at Sam's just in case Aldi was out of them
Look at all that process junk😂
It is mind-boggling
