Ahhh now this is what I wanted. This cantata has been in my head past few days but I didn't know the name. I finally posted to Facebook a snippet of my singing it. Friends readily identified it so I went searching among videos for the sound I wanted. This is it. Just the perfect solitary notes as sung by strings. Beautiful. Thank you so much!
+myfingerpainting Thanks Jun. Just FYI that I'm taking a break from playing guitar due to an injured thumb tendon. I hope to be able to play again soon because I miss practicing and learning new pieces. Regards.
I'm practising this and I'm only just begining... You are an inspiration, I only wish one day I will be able to render this half as beautifully as you do, and I'll be a happy man! BRAVO!
I started learning it many years ago and then stopped after not having much success. I picked it up again after a couple of years after I felt I had improved enough to play it correctly. It does take a while but just keep at it and it will improve your technique along the way. Good luck🙏
Thanks a lot for this video. Really well played and very didactive for me, since I'm learning the piece. I saw David Russell playing it and fell in love with it. Your interpretation gives me a lot of hints and tips for the fingering. Congratulations!
your interpretations is but precise. your phrasing is lovely even though the piece is quite challenging. I am motivated to comment on your playing because of your inspiring rendition is by far the best I have heard on CZcams. Very pleasing thanx
Please, please can you tell me where I can get music with tablature for this please. Love the arrangement of this classic piece and the playing - sensational!!!
Very nice guitar tone. I used to play this composition. You do it very well. Is that arrangement by Rick Foster? czcams.com/video/0MCnIuVnS0I/video.html
Love this arrangement and the Cordoba guitar.

I love this. It makes me think Bach was only thinking of guitar when he wrote this.
Couldn’t agree more 🙂 Thanks

Great! It’s hard to play this on just one guitar
Thanks 🙏
really enjoyed your playing (for the first time I can recall, I preferred it to David Russell's version)
+Hilliard999999 Thanks. I think this arrangement was based off of Parkening's duet version which is far superior to anything I've heard.
Beautiful playing! Is that a Cordoba C10?
Thanks! Yes, it's a C10.
Oh how beustiful! Where can we get the tabs please?
There are no tabs for this piece (or at least none that I know of), sorry.
Raffy Lata neither I found! Sad ((
try this: www.classclef.com/pdf/BWV%20645%20Sleepers%20Awake%20by%20Johann%20Sebastian%20Bach.pdf

Where can I find the sheet music you used ?
Not sure where to find it because it used to be free at Stanley Yates website. Perhaps you can contact him ?
@@RaffyLataGuitar I see a pdf available on RICHARD Yates site. I wonder if that's what you meant.
You have any tabs for this ?
No, I don’t.
