Sleepers Awake, Wachet Auf, J.S. Bach Cantata 140

- "Sleepers, Awake" arranged and performed by Robert Supee.
In this arrangement I placed the voicing above the accompaniment, refigured the bass to fit the changes to the new higher solo voicing, varied the accompaniment by changing it's octaves and using harmonics.
I tuned the guitar up a 1/2 step from standard drop D tuning to conform to Bach's original key of E flat.
I got the idea to place the voicing above the accompaniment only after hearing Norway's own Sissel Kyrkjebö's lovely voice in an arrangement with an all female choir of angels. So, I owe a great big tusen takk to Sissel.

I have to mention that Edvard Grieg and the very great violinist and international star Ole Bull (check my version of his famous La Melancholie) also were from Bergen. I don't feel I am in quite the same league as these great composeres/musicians. But thanks anyway :)

Hi, what beautiful playing! Though I do prefer the chorale part to be in the tenor voice instead of the soprano, it's still great and your playing is very delicate.
