Something not mentioned but super cool. The Mek boy shock attack gun is the most orky thing in 40k. The orks created a machine that can send things through the warp. Super complex technology created from garbage, instead of using it to travel to new planets(they have Roks for that), the orks use it to put snotlings INSIDE their enemies. This is why orks are great, they could become a technological superpower, but they would rather do things that are insane rather than do something that would give them an advantage over other races.

Fact Nr.81 - Gork and Mork are constantly occupied with beating the shit out of each other, driven by the collective waagh energy of all the orks in the galaxy.
Fact Nr. 82 - If Gork and Mork were able to temporarily work together they'd probably be able to kill any other chaos god.
A couple facts to add, Ork teeth deteriorate quite quickly, meaning that an Ork economy remains strong so long as they're fighting and dying as no individual or group can horde wealth.
Also regarding the Ork Psyche, if an Ork thinks it should work, it does, as a general rule. You touched on this when dealing with Ork colour theory, but do add to it, Imperial tests on Ork tech found that a gun that didn't fire in the hands of an Imperial soldier could still fire when handed to an Ork. Also, Ork vessels are almost never air tight, but the combined Ork Psychic field plugs holes that would otherwise leak atmosphere.

i didnt think they detoriated quickly, i thought they grow quickly.... and the bad moons their teeth grow quicker to be the "merchants" but correct with other part. all orks are physkers but at a very low level.
Thomas Green Well, "quickly" is relative. Quickly "enough" to create a stable economy for the Orks. But yes, it is also true the teeth grow back with relative speed.
right it might not be as quick as you think but it certainly isn't as slow as human teeth.

It's worth mentioning that Ork 'teef', once out of their body slowly degenerate over time.
Oddly enough this trait keeps the Orkish economy stable as it stops any Ork from hording teef and prevents inflation of prices. In addition, much like Sharks, Orks are able to regrow their teef, this also ensures that no Ork will be without currency for long as they can either extract their own (or preferably those of a fellow Ork he is able to punch them out of the mouth of) to use in trading and bartering.

I used to have a bunch of those Space Orks models, they were great fun. I think the Gretchin and Snotlings were once seen as the progenitors of the Orks..
There were also Rouge Trader-ish rules that could see Orks (Goffs only as they are militant) using Human mercs, AWOL Imperial guard and the like.

Uhm actually why Orks aren't very well armored is because their skin possesses the hardness of oak bark, and the older and bigger an ork gets, the tougher and thicker his leathery green skin becomes. Also their physiology is straight up ridiculous when it comes to raw resilience. Here's a couple excepts from the wiki:
"Orks feel surprisingly little pain, even from the most grievous of wounds, enabling them to fight on whilst horrifically injured and even for a short while after being technically dead. It is most fortunate for the Orks that they can withstand such brutal physical punishment, since their Painboyz operate on a generally nineteenth-century (ca. 800.M2) level of surgical knowledge; unlike humans, though, Orks are quite capable of being beheaded, having the head sewn onto a different body, and surviving the experience to fight again."
"The Greenskin regenerative process itself is so powerful that an Ork who has been hacked to bits can simply be stitched back together, bewildered but ready to fight once more. Nothing but the most grievous wounds will put an Ork down for long, and burning them to ash is reputed to be the only way to make absolutely sure that they are gone for good."

#2 - Orks are the oldest... no, I thought they were created by the Old Ones to combat the necrons and the C'tan and if that's true, then it's the eldar that are the oldest because they far outdated the orks or even the necrons, because the necrons were necrontyr before they were changed by the C'tan

can anyone please explain to me how the ork looted vehicles works please. so say theres a land raider, would that land raider keep its stats from the space marine codex? i cant find the info anywhere. also what about creatures like the space wolvers on thise big wilf things can they be a looted vehicle? or a tyranid carnifex could that be a looked vehicle? im more into doing conversions and stuff but i want to keep them game ready aswell. thanks in advance, Brett
+brett roe The looted vehicle is gone from the ork codex, you can not play them anymore unless you and your friends make a house rule for it. You can find the old rules for the looted trucks in the 5th edition ork codex.
I just use other vehicles from other codices -1 on the armour value because it's bin wrecked and rebuilt add the old ramshackle rule. give it the option to purchase ork vehicle upgrades. And the keeping the weapons depends if the pros can understand them sometimes they'll just replace them

They took it out the same time they came out with the new ork battlewagons and trucks. They had to ensure sales for both models probably.
