I did hop on to check out the new effects and save some evidence of the current economy’s state, when the economy changes actually roll around I’ll be aiming to do a comparison - I also might try ground pounding in sim to see how the missile guidance nerfs have altered things.
I’m monitoring it, basically. May or may not amount to a video, we’ll see.

I’m hopeful, yeah - hopped on yesterday to check the new effects and play an EC match to gauge rewards so I can compare directly when the changes come in.
The nerf to missile guidance sounds intriguing too, played a ground sim match in the A-10 and did a lot better than past attempts, actually died more to helis than anything on the ground - that Z-19 thing needs to die in a fire.
How did the guy see enemy planes when you lost them from DL?
Line of sight with the radar emitter, some degree of desync, gameplay magic 🤷🏼♂️

Hey bullet, I’m just curious. What do you use to record with, and what cpu do you have?
Also, do you recommend 64 gigs for DCS? I’ve been noticing my usage hits 30 gigs out of my 32 when I play haha 😅.
I have a pretty outdated CPU now, really need to upgrade it to match my GPU a little better, I’m only running 32gb RAM too, seem to get by fine, but more can never be a bad thing.

Probably next year I’ll be looking to upgrade everything to better match my 4070ti, but I don’t have the dosh handy atm.

@@Bullet4MyEnemy gotcha, just fair warning… I did a lot of testing with AMD and Nivida, along side intel and AMD CPU’s and found that Nvidia GPU’s communicate and run more efficiently with intel cpus’s and AMD gpu’s to AMD CPU’s.
Tested on multiple games and noticed that sometimes a 7950x3D paired with a 4080 OC would be outperformed by a 5800X3D and 7900XTX.
Not sure if this is helpful at all, but when I play cpu heavy games I tend to play on a different rig that is AMD exclusive, while when I play GPU heavy games I switch to my other rig which is intel and Nvidia.
