Am I in Trouble for the Marathon? Keep Believing

  • I am back in the Netherlands since last week and my journey has been far from smooth unfortunately. Long story short, the last night when I walked back from the restaurant in Nairobi I fell into a pit on the sidewalk.
    Three days rest and then I first hopped on my race bike on monday and sunday for 2,5 hours. After that I started running again, On tuesday I felt pretty bad and my legs were very stiff! My tempo workout on Wednesday was also pretty bad. A small sign of hope was yesterday when my easyrun of 15km started to feel better. So far from Ideal and my wound still needs to recover and not much signs of shape. However, I learned to keep believing and trust your training!
    Today I do 3-4 times 10 min at marathon pace (so around 3:20/km), Let’s go out of the door and see how it goes today!
