    The beauty of Malaysia is that halal cuisine is available in a very diverse manner …. You feel like Chinese , you can find an authentic Chinese Halal restaurant. At a fast food restaurant, the type of sausage that is served is Chicken … which is great for those who do not eat red meat …Malaysia is definitely a food paradise… Enjoy !

    Keropok lekor or fish sausage is a traditional Malay fish cracker snack originating from the state of Terengganu, Malaysia. It is made from fish and sago flour and seasoned with salt and sugar, with two types - crispy thin or soft thick, usually eaten as snack in tea time with some assorted kuih(s) and tea :)
    Yeah, there are alot of foods here - other than what you had, these are the some you might interested to give a try;
    Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah, Laksa (various states, Penang and Sarawak mainly), Nasi Ganja (Ipoh), Nasi Kandar (Penang or at Mamak restaurants),
    Chicken Rice, Char Kuey Tiew, Roti Canai, Roti Naan, Satay, Ayam Percik and the list goes on.. usually Kampung varities and State varities are local's favorite here. 😃😃😃

    The seller wished to inform the 2 western ladies that the mosque do provide loose garment/robe specially for tourist/visitors ladies and also for men wearing shorts for free. No charge. Just go inside and visit the staff and register at the booth next to the entrance.

    Assalamualaikum Bro. Very delicious foods. You should also go to Masjid Negara to have street foods (we call it Bazar Jumaat) beside the Masjid. A lot of stall selling various foods. Its only open on Friday before and after Solat jumaat.

    You Said it right. Honey jackfruit is called cempedak in Malay, jackfruit is nangka. But so many Malaysians did not know that honey jackfruit means cempedak.

    I would have prayed and then ate. But not sure if you will have enough time toll the market close. Chicken Sushi never heard of. ( always either vegi or sea food sushi). It worth trying. How often it does rain 🌧 in KL?

      It has been raining a few times a week so far. After Friday prayer is better but they close shortly after unfortunately. Come to Malaysia the heart of Asia! You won't be disappointed 😁🤠

    1:45....that's is not ayam sir.....it was apam balik....kinda pancake stuffed with sugar,peanuts and sweetcorn...available in two version ...fluffy one or crispy one...fluffy one normally in big size...crispy one comes in smaller size.....you should try it sir....remember....not ayam balik.....but apam balik

    I just hope the authorities increase the fines for littering. BTW it's not Sup Ultra but Sup Utara. Utara means North, that means the Soups are from north Malaysian states like Kelantan and Terengganu.

      Kalau sup utara means sup dari Kedah atau Perlis and Perak. The Kelantanese version is fused with Thai version, like the kedai tomyam tu. I prefer sup utara.

    Yes, I could guarantee you that the murtabak seller could not understand what you were saying.
    But authentic murtabak is not eaten with any sauce. The standard “side dish” of a murtabak is pickled onions, a bag of which was provided by the seller.
    I cringed at the sight of you eating that murtabak, dry. Anyway, great video. Happy travels and stay safe.
